  1. Found the C&D article..they compared the CT4-v to the BMW 235i Gran Coupe and M-B AMG A35...odd comparison. https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/comparison-test/a34304375/2020-bmw-m235i-gran-coupe-vs-cadillac-ct4-v-mercedes-amg-a35/ The 235i Gran Coupe and A35 are both transverse engine appliances---...they should have compared against the 3 series and C-class which have the proper RWD sports sedan architecture like the CT4.
  2. Nothing in that chart indicates *which* BMW or Mercedes are being discussed, so it's kind of pointless... I like it..very subtle styling changes from the current WK2...
  3. The 2dr coupe and convertible 2 series are still RWD....the 4dr Gran Coupe is the FWD lease appliance.
  4. Yeah, seems everyone is aiming at Tesla price points...dreaming of big profits...
  5. Interesting thought...but I don't see the Olds badge compatible with a $80-170k price tag...
  6. I miss BMW styling from 20 years ago when the headlights were round and the grilles reasonably small...
  7. Jump was a staple of my high school lunchtime cafeteria playlist for a long time. VH was the first band I saw live in concert as a teenager back in the mid 80s. Sad to hear of Eddie’s passing.
  8. Speaking of fuselage Mopies, I like the beastly Chryslers and Imperials also..
  9. I love the look of the '69-73 fuselage Mopies...
  10. Black interiors are fine in a performance car, it's daily driver vehicles that I prefer a beige, tan or brown leather interior in..
  11. It's a White Lightning..those are 'rare' 'chase' cars in JL series...
  12. Ketel One
  13. The GT350 and GT350R sound like they would a fun ride from the reviews I've read...I'd love to have one for a long weekend on twisty, hilly E. Ohio backroads... Maybe the only car I'd want in white w/ a black interior...w/ blue stripes.
  14. Astro also didn't stay in the same segment--went from a GMC semi tractor to a Chevy van. And Calais went from being a full size Cadillac sedan to a compact Olds... As for the Electra concept--who says it will be cramped? It may be luxurious and spacious...
  15. Keep in mind this is in China, so it's a new nameplate there...and it's a nameplate that has been dormant for 30 years in the US. It's a perfect name for an EV---Electra-> Electric... GM has a history of repurposing names also, even moving them across brands...Astro, Blazer, Calais, Safari, Trailblazer, etc... and since Electra has been dormant for 30 years, it makes sense to use it again for the future, esp. since the name is so evocative of Electric.
  16. Not in that form, but a toned-down for production version would be plausible. This is as in they said in the olden days a 'dream car' or concept.
  17. Trucks are driven professionally for 8-10 hours a day or more, everyday--cars far less on average, so its a different usage scenario.
  18. rate
  19. Keep in mind M-B's impl is in an Actros semi truck...very different driving experience than a car or SUV. A very different use case.
  20. I'd steer clear of anything requiring valve adjustments...
  21. Model S is not on the list...not in the top 20, presumably.
  22. Pretty girl and a Buick in a very Ohio looking setting...
  23. ^ Neat..I had to do some googling to determine the specific year..I thought it was an early 50s Lincoln or Mercury..it was the taillights that nailed the marque and year. Looked like this, more of an olive green.
  24. While driving through my neighborhood I spotted a garage door open that I hadn't seen open before, with a pale green '54 Mercury and a black Lincoln MKS inside...
  25. Sweet...sounds like a good deal.
