    If I have to work in an office again anytime soon, I'd definitely want to get the vaccine before being in a cube farm around other human resource units. Hopefully I'll find another remote gig, my current one is winding down most likely in mid-February after 6 1/2 years.

    Yeah, I was thinking a range under $40k..like $35k or thereabouts...or $30k...isn't the average new car price now about $38k?

    Since Toyota has so long been on the Hybrid bandwagon (with some diversion to fuel cells), I wonder when they will get on the BEV bandwagon? A Rav4 BEV w/ good price and range could be a hit for them....

    It seems like no one yet has hit on the magic formula to make a profitable EV for $30k or less. There are more under $40k coming, though...like the VW id.4.

    So the Mach-e has 29.7 ft³/59.7 ft³ of cargo space...to compare to what I know, a WK2 GC has 36.3 ft³/68.3 ft³ of cargo space. Only on a couple of occasions has that been too small for me.

    I'd assume the Mach-e has a frunk also, since it doesn't have the ICE pack up there, and no floor tunnel for a whirly tube or exhaust..

    Probably because of the sleeker, sportier shape.. Escape has more cargo space...the Mach-e cargo space is very similar to the e-tron and Macan, which seems to be more the competition for the Mach-e. Mach-e has considerably less cargo space than even the Model-Y, which seems like another target competitor..

    The Mach-e has a 5 inch longer wheelbase than the Edge, and is within 2 inches of the 2 row Edge in length. The Escape is much smaller.

    Interesting...hadn't thought about comparing a Mach-e to the tiny Escape...I would have thought more of comparing it to the Edge.

    Oh yeah, definitely getting cabin fever after spending most of the last 9 months at home...looking to the world returning to something resembling 'normal'.. no idea when I will get back on an airplane.. but I really, really would like to spend a week in the Colorado mountains...

    That wouldn't make sense...maybe instead an Equinox-shaped EV at the price of a fully loaded Equinox? Why would an BEV be cheaper than the equivalent ICE vehicle?

    One of my favorite Led Zeppelin tracks...'In the Evening'.. She's interesting...can't recall the track, but did see an LDR video that had a '69 Mustang in it...

    Just a suggestion, have you thought of adding 'blu to your Ignored Users list? Might be a good way to reduce your agita with him... I don't have anyone on Ignore here (I like to see posts from everyone), but do use it judiciously on another forum I frequent that uses the same software as here...

    My favorite livery.. flew on a few of them from Denver to London and Phoenix to London back in the oughts, along w/ 777s on the same route.

    My sister had a '99 Explorer Eddie Bauer...dark red and tan w/ tan leather interior...was a nice SUV.

    Not much going on so far in the new year...was out in the backyard after sunset and spotted what appeared to be a CUV w/ full width (multi-segment) headlights drive by... bright white HID...appeared to be something midsize and aerodynamic, didn't look like aftermarket lighting (not an off-road light bar). it was too dark and far away to see exactly what it was...reminded me of the old Mercury Villager minivan but something modern...any idea what I saw? Was not a a Rivian..;)

    Someone bored w/ a scrap travel trailer, scrap '66 Olds, various other cars/trucks, welding gear, bondo and lots of drugs and/or alcohol?

    The GMCs definitely look better than the Chevys. The previous gen still looks better, IMO...

    Re: rusty 70s Fords, yeah, the '73-74s really rusted badly here in Ohio...in the early to mid 80s, my older brother had '73 and a '74 LTDs...the rear bumpers rusted off, the trunk floors were gone, and on one of them the radiator fell out while driving as did the rear axle (that was what ultimately killed it)>

    Lol...yeah, I don't get out in the sticks much, I'm sure there is weird stuff out there. Not so much here in suburbia. As far as Balthy and his truck, I'd assume that is a business expense that he can get tax deductions for, rather than a personal transportation vehicle..
