Alternative Fuels & Propulsion RANDOM
Robert Hall replied to G. David Felt's topic in Alternative Fuels & Propulsion
In some companies, that can be true. I've worked at plenty of companies that are much looser---where you only know the build is broken when you check out the code and try and build locally and it blows up (and the guy that checked in broken code is 12 time zones away). I'd hope the software used in cars is held to a high standard, but I know from experience much of what goes on in corporate America is hit and miss... -
I like variety. I like the occasional sunny day. I enjoy snowy days when I don’t have to go out in it. What is boring is weeks with no variation as I’ve seen in some places...

Sun came out here at noon, beautiful afternoon now.. I love the MCM furniture... have a bunch of it from Arizona, want to use it in the front living room eventually...some needs restored/refinished...a couple pieces came apart in moving.

Had a very nice sunny afternoon yesterday here. Today, back to the regularly scheduled gloom.

I miss Chrysler’s Pentastar logo.
-
Interesting....the new logo is different. I guess the new look is a attempt to make the company seem more 'youthful' and 'hip' instead of old and stodgy, to attract Gen-Z and Millennial appliance shoppers...just marketing BS...expensive to change if you think about everywhere the logo appears.

That’s a neat deet on that tor. For the mathematically challenged that can’t measure tread depth.

This reminds me of a buddy of mine who is huge model train fan...his whole basement is full of layouts. He and his wife have no kids, but a pair of Siamese..as far as I know, the cats get along ok w/ the trains...

Another trend instead of Matte Black would be bedliner material..would be a unique look. Wraps are popular, but I imagine a wrap on a '59 Buick would be a challenge because of all the contours and creases...

The 4xe drivetrain as seen in the Wrangler 4xe. GC is supposed to get it in a year or two... -
And as always, it's the usual suspect doing it...

There is going to be a hybrid version, so not completely off-topic.. -

I love what I've seen of the new GC interior. And the optional McIntosh stereo... yum. Love the wood trim. Looking forward to seeing the 2 row. -

People normally aren't replacing headlight assemblies, though....bulbs, yes. But the whole assembly, that's usually an insurance item after an accident. -

Yes, not sure if it's worse than COMAND or whatever M-B's current crud is called... -

Mercedes is well known for buggy electronics and costly repairs, probably worse than Cadillac. -
Wowza...300+ in a 'street' car...must have some incredible tires and brakes..

Yes, chocolate was what I meant..he had a reddish-brown coloration. By the time she added the first dog (came w/ husband #3), the cats had been with her 5-6 years. Then another dog a year later, then another 2 years later...all stubborn, intense Westies. As they got older, sometimes the cats (esp. the female blue point) would curl up next to one of the dogs and sleep..
-
I know..it's unfortunate...these cosplaying clowns need to be dealt with. Did you see the Buffalo guy? Yeah, she had two Siamese in Boston and moved back to Phoenix with them in '97, then got two Westies..I used to visit and the cats and dogs would glue themselves to me.
-
My sister used to have a pair of Siamese cats--a red point and a blue point. I liked them alot..they got along w/ the dogs she had at the time, though the dogs liked to chase them.
-
Of the Forward-Look Mopars, I like the '57 styling the best, esp. the '57 Chrysler Windsor and 300C..I prefer the quad headlight fronts, the dual headlights looked weak.

Mentally deficient wannabe-'Patriots'...actually traitorous terrorists...hopefully a lot of this filth end up in prison.
-
There are a lot of delusional people out there..maybe lobotomies would help them.

^ At least the name makes it clear what the business does. Or maybe it's something like the owner's name was Fred Service.
