  1. She's kind of a space heater..I don't need an electric blanket in the winter.
  2. Random dog pic from last evening...Raine likes to get under the comforter and sleep under it..
  3. I do wonder how many US Yeah, that wouldn't surprise me...his foreign policy seems to be largely based on personal relations or lack of them.. As far as Japan, Jeep is 'big' there... http://www.thedrive.com/sheetmetal/14782/jeep-is-by-far-the-hottest-american-brand-in-japan
  4. Next Durango will be the 3 row GC variant in the slide, I bet. A Ram branded minivan would be odd. I could see a butched up Pacifica w/ a seven slot grille being a Jeep crossover van... Given how low the sales #s are, Alfa and Maserati seem pointless to continue..
  5. This does bring up an interesting thought...with the sale of Opel, I assume future Buicks will be designed in the US and China and no more Opel-derived models (after the current generation models)? Or does GM have a long term agreement/contract w/ PSA for components and models..
  6. I've been looking at the slides..some vague mentions of future products (no surprise), no mention of Dodge, Chrysler, or Fiat (other than international market trucks in the Ram slide deck)... https://www.fcagroup.com/en-US/investors/Pages/capital_markets_day_2018.aspx
  7. That one is sweet...I like the dark blue.
  8. I've liked the look since the '11 update, though I do think they look a bit stubby in profile. Many recent Cadillac sedans have the same short deck issue, IMO...
  9. Panasonic is an investor in GigaFactory 1 in Nevada. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gigafactory_1
  10. Front end looks like it was styled by Disney...too bad they don't have the budget to give it a Ram like nose..
  11. Cool..I remember that story.
  12. I guess the way the standalone Fiat, Alfa and Maserati stores around here stay in business is that they are owned by mega dealer chains, like Ganley which has Fiat, Alfa, CDJR, Ford, Toyota, Hyundai, Chevy, etc stores..
  13. The way it is now is Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram are often in one dealer...my local here (and my local in Arizona) are like that. Fiat, Alfa and Maserati are somewhere out of sight... (looks like there is a Maserati dealer in the far West suburbs, a Alfa Fiat dealer to the southwest of me, and standalone Alfa and Fiat dealers to the east of me). It's a bit different there, though...Ford has sedans, CUVs, SUVs, and trucks all under one brand, while FCA has them spread over 4 brands...
  14. Hmm..well, Chrysler is down to 2 models, Dodge has 4...don't think they can shrink much more.
  15. Wonder what's going on there... the Chrysler has some sort of decals, getting a police escort. someone participating in One Lap of America or a vintage rally of some sort? Minivan open to do filming out of?
  16. I don't recall ever seeing one...they were pretty limited production IIRC.
  17. Anecdotally, the Vipers I saw at car shows in Arizona inevitably had drivers that appeared to be around 60 or older. Maybe it's a Scottsdale thing.
  18. The AARP crowd that bought the past Vipers would freak out at the idea of an electric Viper...
  19. Random thought of car sightings...after almost a year full time in NE Ohio, I've seen a few of the 80s CBOP PLUX coupes out and about (Monte Carlo, Regal, Cutlass, GP), but exactly zero '80s-90s Cougars or T-Birds, which is surprising considering they were built here...
  20. I stuck my phone in front her while sitting at a light. She's fun, very high energy, very strong for a dog that weighs 15 pounds.
  21. Trends come and go, some types of vehicles are popular at various points in time. What is popular today may not be popular in 5 years. Reality occurs.
  22. Another recent Mopar color I like is a dark red I've seen on the Challenger and Charger. Octane Red.
  23. The dash in these I think was a homage to the '63-65. I liked the tapered rear on these, looked like the longest rear deck in the 90s.
  24. There is one of those in my neighborhood, same color. In good condition, see it driven occasionally.
  25. Saw a dark blue C7 Z06 at the grocery this afternoon, white haired fellow who appeared to be north of 70 loading groceries into it. Also saw the usual assortment of Buicks, along with Pontiacs--a bright red 2nd gen Vibe (I forgot about those--rather clean w/ no cladding), a black Grand GT 4dr w/ scooped hood in good condition, a dark gray G8, and a black last generation Grand Prix.
