  1. Well, it's not the first Volvo without a diesel option...I don't think the P1800 or C70 had a diesel version, for instance. A more accurate statement might be 'it's the first recent Volvo sedan without a diesel option', though.
  2. I like the Trailhawk...the guy in the cubicle next to me at work last year bought a lt gray one the same day I bought my Limited. He drives it to his house in Mexico often, and often drives on dirt roads.. I'd probably go for the Sterling edition or Overland if I were buying a new '18.
  3. I heard the buyer was David MacNeil, the Weathertech floor mats king, racing team owner, etc.
  4. Very sharp. Elegant, clean exterior and interior design. I really like where Volvo has been going w/ their recent designs.
  5. I don't recall GM ever using that name.
  6. Could have meant bucket seats (2 front seats) or front bench and rear bench (2 bench seats). I've heard some people refer to those configurations as '2 seaters'... Was a '63 Impala 2dr ht at one time.
  7. I've never driven an air-cooled Beetle, but have driven a couple of air-cooled Porsches..a buddy in Colorado had a '73 914 and a '76 911 that I drove a couple times each. Fun cars.
  8. Cool..an old Edsel model name. Capri would have been good also, since that was a Lincoln name previously. I wonder if the MKZ is going to get renamed Zephyr or it it toast since they are axing the Fusion for the US?
  9. Beautiful day, after work went downtown to the 55th St pier to enjoy sun and Lake Erie..snapped this pic of sunlight on the water.
  10. Sharp. Strong Mustang vibe to the greenhouse and midsection...
  11. True...bold and violent. Lexus is the leader in rage face styling, though Audi and others are catching up..
  12. I like the styling, but seems like the old Italian shortcomings of poor build quality and poor reliability remain...
  13. Had to look those up, completely forgot about them...the i30 was the Maxima variation, kind of Infiniti's ES equivalent I guess....for 2000s Infinitis the G35 and G37 are the ones I remember (US versions of the Skyline).
  14. When prices hit $4 again, Ford will be regretting their short sighted move, I suspect...
  15. Yeah, weird...I'm seeing that on Gmail w/ Safari on macOS also now..the notification for your previous post worked, this one didn't...maybe something w/ how the URLs are formed.
  16. It's interesting, just as US automakers are cutting car and particularly small and midsize car lines in the US...seems short sighted..
  17. I checked, it works fine with Gmail and Safari on iOS. But not on macOS.
  18. No silver streaks either... this was a particularly tasteful period in Pontiac styling, IMO.
  19. For some reason this afternoon, if I click on the 'Go to this post' button in an email notification from the forum in Gmail on Safari, it just opens a new tab on the Google site rather than the specific post in the forum. Works fine on Chrome. Weird...I haven't changed any settings on my Mac.
  20. Hahah..that was 'Si' as in 'Yes'...
  21. That's just a random photo I found online to illustrate the wheel style. The one I saw was dark red, with those wheels w/ the center caps.
  22. Saw a really clean dark red w/ dark red 1/4 vinyl top '81-82ish Monte Carlo this afternoon. It had these unusual wheels like in this photo, don't think I've seen one w/ these wheels in years, maybe decades.
  23. Since BMW and MB sedans are typically lease vehicles, they make good CPOs w/ that kind of depreciation. At the other extreme, there are probably some people that buy them new and keep them until they are worn out after 15 years or so...
  24. I love the '69-70 big Fords..
  25. That is actually a '70. But cool nonetheless... From that list, I'd go with the Chevy Kingswood 427 wagon or '70 Chrysler 300 Hurst. My favorites, though, aren't on the list...kind of under the radar biggies w/ 429 v8s... '69 Ford XL GT and '69-70 Mercury Marauder X100.
