    Maybe they do a quick MCE and give it a new front end for '20. The big problem they can't change w/ this generation, though, is the chop top and micro windows.

    The grille, front fascia and front fenders have much simpler styling on the GMC. The Silverado has way too many details, cutlines and contours, IMO..overwrought. The GMC could look better with a couple changes--make a flat bottom to the grille opening (get rid of the left and right tabs) and get rid of the slot in the top center of the grille surround by the hood....

    Saw an X2 in the wild today for the first time, a white one parked in a driveway around the corner. I thought it was a Hyundai at first..

    Agreed...white with that all black front just looks dreadful, IMO As far as regular cabs go, I think the '14-15 Silverado or Sierra in regular cab shortbed form is one of the best looking GM pickups of the modern era..

    It may make sense in a low trim level for commercial use. But maybe GM thinks only 0.0000005% of private consumers would be interested in one, so they are passing on it for now. The only pic of a regular cab '19 I've seen so far is a nasty base trim one..

    I wouldn’t mind having something w a Hemi. The V6 is fine in my GC, but a Challenger SRT 392 would be a nice midlife crisis toy. Though I’m also interested in a Miata. I know, I’m weird...I find both hefty V8 modern muscle cars and lightweight traditional-style sports cars appealing...

    I like that mesh grille, but it needs the bowtie, IMO. Black w/ the blue insert maybe.

    It was blue hot hatch time this morning...heading home from a quick trip to Dunkin Donuts (first time out of the house since Tuesday--been an insane work week), I saw a dark blue Fiesta ST, a bright blue Focus RS, and a dark blue Golf R....

    First mover advantage...Tesla has set the bar and set the standards for the terminology, so followers are conforming. Standards bodies/organizations are behind the curve...

    It's too bad about Genesis..they misjudged the market and their product mix. Their cars sound quite good from what I've read, esp. the new G70. The problem is the luxury market has shifted to CUVs and SUVs in a big way...

    I didn't see anything about the range being loaded vs unloaded, though this line implies some load--The new model will have an electric range of 110 miles depending on route and driver. A bit vague. Looks like an Isuzu cab, didn't realize GM and Isuzu were still making trucks of this sort. Sounds interesting..a former coworker of mine works for Lightning Systems, but he does their website.

    Someone in my neighborhood got a new '19 Ram 1500...black 4dr...Laramie I think...really sharp. I think it's the first I've seen of the 19s...really looks good in person, IMO...

    I'm old enough to remember when the 3 series was the best seller, and only available as a 2dr. Times have changed...

    Not enough profit in sub-$30k cars, I guess... by ditching cars, their ATP number goes up.

    Looks very normal, no EV 'otherness' to the design, which will be a good thing for mainstreaming EVs.

    I haven't tried Roku, been happy with Amazon--first had the Firestick and now the Fire TV box. I may switch to Apple TV, though...since that would go w/ my other Apple hardware.

    I've tried YouTube TV, but I had to use Chromecast for it. YouTube being a Google property, doesn't work on the Amazon platform as they are competitors.

    I've been happy since cutting the cord when I moved to Ohio. Though I do miss having a lot of NFL...Direct TV Now streaming isn't available here. Without cable, I'm using streaming services--Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, Brit Box, Acorn, MHz, HBO over my Kindle Fire TV. Added up, the monthly fees are still cheaper than Cox cable or ATT cable would be here.

    Neat...I like the FC trucks, I've seen a few at classic car shows in Ohio and Az over the last decade..
