  1. I guess they think the Camaro/Murano mash up styling will attract customers and is worth a premium. Time will show if this is a good idea or not.
  2. I could see them selling a Blazer as a performance SUV if it were built on the Camaro platform w/ the same engine choices (as the Camaro), but not some weak transverse engine FWD appliance...
  3. I imagine this will freak out all the oldsters that buy Harleys...
  4. Hard to comprehend...I could see maybe $35k for a AWD/FWD/transverse engine appliance, but $57k for such lowly hardware?
  5. Heh-heh..I like them...got a good local place even closer, though...Das Schnitzel Haus in Parma.
  6. I could go for a currywurst w/ a side of spaetzle, and a pint of Warsteiner. Going to have to go to Hofbrauhaus downtown soon.
  7. That would be pretty boring...the point of offering different trims is to give consumers choice. Look at all the variations available in the Grand Cherokee, Challenger, etc...choice is good. The Edge looks much the same as it's been since 2015...just minor front/rear fascia changes for 2019 that I can see...
  8. Strong Camaro vibe to the front end. So my sister's Trax is done w/ the repairs and ready to go (been in the dealer's auto body shop since getting rear ended early in December). Insurance paid for everything beyond the deductible. She's been driving the Cadillac, and it has a new anomaly...the heater won't blow out the dash vents or under dash...defroster still works. Good thing the seat heater still works and it hasn't been excessively cold yet...
  9. Found that one today, along with a Maisto Colorado.
  10. Saw a black or dark blue 63-64 Rambler Classic 4dr w flames painted in the front fenders and hood. Sitting in a driveway.
  11. Does seem a bit high, but then again electric motors can be quite torquey...
  12. Very retro from behind.
  13. Here is the Atlis website...first I'd heard of them. Looks like it's an American company, some of the leadership team has past auto industry experience. There is a pic of the rear--the taillights, tailgate and rear bumper reminds of an early 90s F150. http://www.atlismotorvehicles.com
  14. Heh-heh, Chevy is trying to convince people to pay $50k for an Acadia that looks like a Camaro mated with a Murano (Blazer)....
  15. Yet another electric pickup, this one promising a 500 mile range and 35k lb towing capacity. Hadn't heard of Atlis yet. https://insideevs.com/video-atlis-xt-electric-pickup-truck-500-mile-range/?fbclid=IwAR3R-S2R46KWb5YHQWRI4gyKev_7H7VXc6ITWTwrqEr28ogfWfg_1MNUoMk\
  16. Make me think of the Motor Law and outlaws driving red Barchettas...
  17. Yeah, some trucks were low..I remember the S10s and Rangers my Dad and brother had were easy to get in and out of...my Dad's old Power Wagon I learned to drive in had a high step up. I've never been a truck person, though..never needed to haul stuff more than I can fit in an SUV. Which then begs the question do they need both GMC and Buick in the US, since they overlap so much.
  18. I get it...after almost 25 years of having an SUV as a daily driver, I find it perfectly natural. My WK2 GC sits a bit higher than my WJ GC (20 vs 16 inch wheels/tires), but it's still very easy to get in and out compared to a car.. I was 24 when I first started driving SUVs daily (Bronco II)...and now I'm 48..and feel my age in my knees and hips.. though I do miss driving cars w/ manuals.
  19. You may be overthinking this, the fender crease is as it is just to look different from the Sierra.
  20. I don't think I'd seen BEV before, but it makes sense to avoid confusion with EEEV, PHEV, PZEV, HEV, UEV, and ZEV...
  21. And also Dermott Mulroney, American actor. And not Muldowney, as in Shirley, retired American drag racer.
  22. Monroney, I think. I’ve read dealer window stickers referred to by that name.
  23. It seems so strange to invest in this new V8 and a CT6 V series using it only to drop it. But that is a very GM move.
  24. Well, mine are Arizona dogs. 2nd winter in Ohio, but this winter so far is mild compared to last year.
  25. I’ve been known to put sweaters on dogs when it’s really cold... and I definitely let them on the furniture. As far as getting sads when selling an old car, I did kind of miss my old Jeep when I traded March 31, 2017. But I’d had it almost 17 years and 170k miles...it was at the point where I didn’t trust it anymore and it would needed expensive repairs. Pic below taken the day I traded it.
