I assume the Charger EV will be a low volume novelty though. Can't imagine the police fleet volume of Chargers going to the EV version. Definitely going to be interesting to see what comes out in the next year or so. I can't imagine the Cybertruck will ever be in high production, let alone 'wrecking' the sales of full size trucks...it's just a novelty..no way that garbage will outsell the F150.

My company is publicly traded, looks like they had a small percentage of their cash reserves in SVB, and some 'sweep' accounts (not quite sure what that entails). But they have their investments diversified across several banks is my understanding.

I’ve been watching this closely. My employer (Alkami Technology) is on that list linked above. My CEO sent a Slack announcement about it and that it would not affect payroll (got paid on the 15th). Strange days in tech right now.

I was thinking more of an SUV coupe...like a fastback Grand Cherokee, conceptually similar to the MB GLE coupe. An Eagle revival as an AWD lifted sport wagon could be very cool also, though.. given the success of Subaru w/ their Outback wagons, I'm surprised Jeep hasn't done an Eagle wagon revival....

Industry News: KIA EV9 Will It Be The First To Market A Full Size EV SUV?
Robert Hall replied to G. David Felt's topic in Kia
Bingo... ..the average consumers don't want cars anymore, only CUVs.. I miss sedans and coupes, but that is a very minority viewpoint in today's marketplace of generic consumers and gray/white/black CUVs. (Of course I'm being hypocritical with a black SUV and a gray CUV in my garage, and 3 vintage coupes I don' t drive...but that will change in time). -

Telluride and Palisade have rather short wheelbases for 3 row CUVs. -

So how does it compare dimensionally to the Telluride and Palisade? -
Sounds like this new V8 is like the one Ford introduced a few years ago, for the super duty trucks as an alternative for the diesels.

So the rumors going around claim that the last '23 Challenger variant will have over 1000hp and be called the Goblin, Gremlin or the Ghoul. (dumb names, but I get it...Dodge always has a bit of whimsy in their muscle car naming...)

Went to the Cleveland Auto Show today, did some car spotting. Was fun. Liked the C8s…they had an orange Z06, gray e-Ray and a silver convertible. The ‘24 Mustang Dark Horse looked good. Sat in the Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve..very nice interior. With the center console, felt tighter than my '14 GC. I like the interior materials, though the piano black on the center console would be covered in fingerprints easily. Sat in the Cadillac Lyriq--very striking design. I like it..bigger than it looks in photos. Sat in the CT5 and CT4, very nice. The CT5 C-pillar has grown on me, though the new Civic has the same C-pillar trim. The BMW XM was ghastly in person. The auto show was dull overall compared to past years, too many huge ugly trucks and boring CUVs…

That first gen Aurora was a beautiful car...GM a bunch of designs in the 90s I liked a lot...the Aurora, last gen Riviera, the '92 and '98 STS generations, the final Eldorado, a couple generations of Park Avenue. I like the final boats also like the Roadmaster, Caddy Brougham, Caprice and Impala SS...huge cars, but they looked slick.

The second video definitely makes the first video make more sense...watching the first video w/o the second it looks like the vehicles are pulled into the wall above. Reminds me a bit of 'Deadman's Curve' here on I-90 in downtown Cleveland..3-4 lanes going downhill into a tunnel, then a nearly 90 degree right turn after the tunnel, then the freeway merges into another freeway parallel to the lake... I've been in the middle lane slowing to 35 while cars pass me in the left (outer lane) standing on their brakes at 70... I imagine it can get quite dicey in winter when it gets icy.. Makes sense for practicality, though...sort of an XT6 EV equivalent?

The Model 3 is bland and generic, looks like all of Teslas other dated designs..but the generic consumers seem to like them.

Decent appliance for generic consumers that want something to go from point a to point b. Decent interior. The styling is so generic it could be badged as one of many brands. It serves it's purpose in GM's brand ladder--a bit fancier than an equivalent Chevy, less truckular than GMCs, cheaper and less flashy than Cadillac.
