  1. Yes, but I can see people paying a premium for the badge...
  2. As it says in the article, 'overboost mode'.. Interesting, but these trims start considerably higher than the Model S tops out I think...so this is playing at a higher price point..
  3. Merge speed on some freeways...
  4. A diesel seems to be more for someone that wants to go cray cray and try for 250k miles with a vehicle..... but the electronics will probably go bad long before 250k.
  5. Yeah, the much hyped AMG One can't do it...
  6. Not familiar with it, but it makes sense as a real world freeway on-ramp acceleration or passing measurement ....more useful than 0-60.
  7. I'd like to see the CA part survive and thrive, though...
  8. I like the exterior color and the interior color....styling is just another sharply angled violent cartoon car...
  9. I know, I just think FWD/transverse 4cyl is fine for cheap econoboxes or mainstream appliances, but has no place in at a premium or luxury brand.....
  10. Isn't the X1 FWD based now? The idea of $50k for a 4cyl FWD/transverse based CUV or car is absolute madness....but it also says $50k isn't what it once was... a FWD transverse 4 cyl connotes cheap econobox, not anything premium...
  11. Have you ever wondered what happened to your old car after trading or selling it? I was curious, popped my old Jeep VIN into google and found that it sold at a scrap auction in Tucson w/ 173k miles about 6 months after I traded it on my '14 at the end of March 2017. https://appletowing.hibid.com/lot/35082301/2000-jeep-grand-cherokee/?q=&ref=catalog It looks pretty tired there...I got almost 17 years out of it, a lot of memorable drives..kind of sad.
  12. The seating is like how McLaren did with the F1.
  13. Nice T-Bird...my brother had a white '59 w/ red interior back around 1975-6..I remember riding in it as a kid. He was working at a Ford dealer, I remember visiting him at the dealer w/ my Mom and it was parked next to a new dark blue '76 T-Bird... This one appears to be a '60 w/ a '59 grille. (that rear quarter trim was a '60 detail).
  14. Someone in my neighborhood really likes 2019 Cherokees. 3 of em.
  15. I used to fly Frontier a lot when I lived in Denver, but that’s been over a decade. They seemed comparable to Southwest. I’ve heard a lot of bad about Spirit. Here in Cleveland I’ll probably use Delta or American. Used Southwest a lot when I lived in Phoenix, still would use them.
  16. I like the Avalon interior more than the ES interior, at least in these photos
  17. Maybe the next 'Slade will look like a scaled up XT6. And the Tahoe will look like a scaled up Blazer (or they will uglify it with a Silverado-like nose).
  18. The giant grille on the Avalon might look better if chromed and bejeweled with a bunch of shiny thingys like were in a '59 Buick grille.
  19. I definitely wouldn't buy one in the first 2-3 years of production. I'd rather get another WK2.
  20. Appears to be only one seat in this pic of a prototype from 2018..they've been road testing them for a while.
  21. Hopefully not, I'm assuming all the engineering is being done in Detroit... probably not much carried over from the Stelvio, considering it will considerably larger..
  22. I don't parallel park or back into spaces, but I find the camera quite useful in backing out of my driveway (I've spotted random joggers in the dark on the sidewalk w/ the camera, etc), backing out of parking spaces (esp. when I have bigger vehicles on each side of me).... with the small rear and side windows and thick pillars I have plenty of blind spots.
  23. Reminds me a bit of the CT6 and other recent designs.
  24. Yes, which is fine; it is a RWD/longitudinal engine platform, not vile FWD/transverse. Will be interesting to see how the 2021 turns out. But I'm probably looking at getting a '19 or '20 Summit or Overland CPO for my next one...stick w/ WK2 for a while.
  25. I would never consider the Acadia or other GM CUVs because of the lowly FWD/transverse engine platform. If they made a 2 row SUV on a proper platform I'd consider one.
