More auto show pics. The humungous Ram 5500 cab n' chassis. Sprinter high top in black..they really need an AMG Black Series version. At the Cleveland auto show. Been here an hour. Leaving soon. Crowds seem thinner than the last two years. Could be the nice weather. Nice Camaro ZL1 in the parking lot The Corvette looks great in person...looks so huge...so wide.. So massive...the top of the bed on the Silverado HD High Country comes to the top of my shoulder. New Yukon Denali looks good. Challenger R/T Scat Pack wide body. Charger R/T Daytona Grand Cherokee Limited. Not much changed from my '14. Mustang Mach E. Very Tesla-esque.

It can take that long to get out of the parking lot at the Cleveland show...I find if I rush i can see everything I want to see in an hour or so, 2 hours if I don't rush as much. There usually is a huge section of vintage cars on display which were more interesting than the new cars section last year. The I-X Center where they hold it is a huge venue.

I enjoy sandy beaches and pebbly beaches (like here on Lake Erie, some are a mix of both). It's the cold I dislike more than snow. I really don't mind snow and rain, I don't like driving on ice. I really don't like it when it's below 20F or so with wind... (this winter has been very mild here in Cleveland, not many nights/days under 20 so far).

Snow is better than sand in that it's just a form of water and eventually goes away. Sand doesn't.

I get kind of sea sick riding on the car ferry out to the islands on windy days...

The i3 and i8 haven't been large scale hits....seems like they are lagging behind in the EV game. -
Someone a couple streets over from me seems to be getting into the package delivery game...has two late model Sprinter high top cargo vans in his driveway, one dark blue, one white, no markings, temporary tags. I remember seeing a pic of it in one of the car magazines decades ago..

CT4 and CT5, maybe CT6 Blackwing... Mustang GT500, new Hyundai Sonata, maybe the latest generation 911... not a whole lot new in car-shaped forms from the mainstream brands that I can think of.. note that I'm thinking of vehicles that may up at local 'dealer' type car shows like the Cleveland Auto Show that starts today, not vehicles that debut at the big national-level shows... As far as the remaining big national shows like NAIAS in June and LA in Nov, I would think 99% of the debuts will be trucks, CUVs and SUVs, with maybe 30% of those being BEVs.

Yes. they had a couple..the Active Hybrid 3 with a hybrid 6 cyl (2012-2015), replaced by the 330e w/ a hybrid 4 cyl (2015-2018). Not sure if I've ever seen one. Looks like the current generation has one also, a 330e iPerformance w/ a plugin hybrid turbo 4. -
About 10 min ago got another Amazon Prime delivery, this time it was a Ram. Just realized I haven't seen a Freightliner-branded Sprinter in any use in years...but apparently they still sell them.

Speaking of vans, the blue Amazon Prime delivery vans around here tend to be Rams or Ford Transits...but I did spot a Mercedes badged newest generation Sprinter in my driveway this morning...

I have a Mac n Cheese fast food restaurant nearby (Tom n Chee) and an all things Grilled Cheese bar (Melt Bar and Grilled). Never a shortage of cheesy goodness...

The real people ad reminds me of a tv ad I saw for the Yugo 30+ years ago...showed a young couple driving a Yugo talking about how 'sporty' it was, etc...'real' people type style.

That's how I felt about my old Jeep...kept it almost 17 years and 170k miles. Never thought I'd go that long w/ one vehicle...
