Yeah, right... Trump is only concerned about the pandemic because he's losing money at his resorts and investments. He couldn't care less about the American people or humanity as a whole, he's a malignant narcissist, not a savior as his brain dead constituency thinks.

Here's a good example of facts...less than a month ago 45 was calling the coronavirus pandemic a 'hoax' at a rally of his imbecile fans in SC.. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2020/02/28/trump-hold-south-carolina-rally-before-democratic-primary-election/4887015002/?fbclid=IwAR1UWnRw2tDp_uPwHfBs6KAGXW7TfwfDu4-ybMi7iIOSuBEG4xXdYjXGqkw I'm sure plenty of them still believe it's a hoax.

May get the leaf vacuum out tomorrow and clean up a bit, fill up a bin w dead branches. Still about 3 weeks before the yard guys start for the season. Maybe get the grille out...

Took a lawn chair and went out and sat in my backyard this afternoon, enjoying the early signs of spring, the birds and the dogs enjoyed running around. Staying sane.

45 was saying he wanted the US open for business by Easter to fill up churches, but that seems unlikely.

Beautiful blue skies and sun here in NE Ohio...was sitting out in my backyard for a while...looking forward to going back to the beaches and islands hopefully by summer...

All good and well, but you still have to leave the house to go to Costco. My local grocery does home delivery and curbside delivery, I'm going to utilize home delivery from them (and Amazon/Whole Foods) as long as it's available and avoid being out in public.. Another good resource is Microsoft's Bing COVID-19 page.. https://www.bing.com/covid

My neighborhood is super quiet. A fair number of retirees I think. I stocked up a lot at the grocery a week ago and still get deliveries from Amazon and the grocery, along w/ the occasional Doordash order. Really no different from this past winter except for not eating out and fewer trips to the grocery.

They have the C-HR, but it doesn’t look very practical as a CUV.

So while large parts of the country are locked down, buddies of mine from high school are posting pics from an afternoon out golfing in Florida. Florida seems to be a bit behind the curve on pandemic response...

Interesting...didn't realize they were building Traxes in MX...thought they were still sourced from SK.

I haven't seen anything about specific areas, but did read they are now 2 days without a new locally transmitted confirmed infection... https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/19/asia/coronavirus-covid-19-update-china-intl-hnk/index.html

Which is why a CPO looks like a better deal to me.

When I went to the auto show a month ago or so the Trax was $31k, the Equinox $41k, the Blazer $51k....madness...

That like a top of the line Corolla? Seems into Camry territory. I just can't imagine almost 30k for a generic compact FWD 4cyl sedan...

The data from Ohio is strange also, a lot more cases in my county (Cuyahoga) than the state capital (Franklin) and both counties are of similar population (about 1.2 m) and population density. More testing here in the Cleveland area than in Columbus (Franklin County)? Not sure..

Mine can be that slow at times...just ran speedtest, 375 Mbps...I've seen it over 700Mbps at times...(Cox Gigablast).

That album was a major part of my soundtrack in the mid 90s when I lived in Michigan and was in grad school.. listening to it always brings me back to the good times and infinite despair of those years.

I can’t touch Mountain Dew either. Drank way too much of it in grad school and my first couple jobs. Haven’t had one in close to 20 years probably.

I have to cut off caffeine by 4...it messes up my sleep if I drink something caffeinated in the evening, even with my sleeping pills.

I quit energy drinks maybe 10 years ago. I do enjoy a few Cokes or Cherry Cokes ( the European size mini cans) every week as an afternoon pickup... can’t stand the taste of diet sodas. But for caffeine I have 3-4 cups of coffee every morning before 10.. with the time change I’ve been needing an extra cup...been sleeping in until 8.

I did stock up on dog treats and dog food from Amazon..that came today. And jerky, snacks, etc. I've been pretty much quarantined since the beginning of February, so nothing new. Got plenty of TP, paper towels, cleaning supplies. Just ordered some Omaha Steaks and fixins from Amazon, going to do some grilling..
