  1. '72 Ford LTD...love that era of big Fords..
  2. No, the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Known as 'Penn'. Never been an Aztek fan, but that is maybe the slickest looking one I've seen..rather cool, IMO.
  3. His father probably paid someone to take his tests for him. Corruption and cheating have been an integral part of his persona for decades, not that his idiotic base cares (or are capable of understanding the problem w/ having a corrupt, vile President).
  4. I find CNN pretty balanced and mainstream..MSNBC definitely leans left, while Faux News is fiction for the right wing crowd. I don't really watch much TV news, though occasionally I'll watch CBS News or the BBC.
  5. Could be...not sure, does Chevy still have the Sonic sedan?
  6. What was in the past is in the past. Today, many of the premium brands have small entry level cars and CUVs--look at the lineups of M-B, Audi, BMW, Lexus... got to have an entry point to get buyers into the brand.
  7. Most were just high mileage 90s-00s FWD generics and trucks and SUVs, though..I remember in Phoenix at the time a lot of dealers were taking in worn out Explorers, Expeditions, minivans, etc..
  8. Got them here also last night...the evening was great, up to 72 in Cleveland yesterday..sat on the patio until 11 enjoying the weather, some adult beverages and music. Then went to bed and heavy thunderstorms and wind...some branches down in the yard this morning. Read there are tornado sightings to the south and west of here..
  9. Well, Ford eliminated the Fusion. Midsize mainstream sedan sales have dropped a lot in recent years (even the Camry and Accord have seen declines). As far as Boomers, some buy Camrys and Accords...many buy CUVs like younger buyers, I assume...
  10. Total US new car sales for 2019 w 17.1 million ( Automotive News)...something's off in that chart above.
  11. Actually, it is an N95 mask..I bought a few of them at Ace Hardware a couple years ago, been using them when I've been out w/ the leaf blower and leaf vacuum...
  12. 70F, beautiful evening. Out enjoying the yard w the doggies. Had a couple margaritas. Enjoying the evening.
  13. FedEx is still delivering efficiently...just got two bags of grass seed and fertilizer from Home Depot along w/ 3 bottles of Patron...got to put the Margarita mix to use.
  14. Since there has been a lot of talk of wearing masks if you go out in public, I’m ready. This balaclava makes me look like a ninja burglar. Or one of the dust masks I use when leaf blowing
  15. Random aside about European Mercedes Taxis and such, while watching a Belgian crime drama I’ve seen a couple Cadillac DTS hearses, one w the padded top like here and one European style w all the glass.
  16. Yeah, the Cortina was an English Ford. Later replaced by the Sierra then the Mondeo.
  17. First trip out this month today, had to go to the vet to pick up some prescription refills. Traffic very light, beautiful sunny day. Did see a clean black w/ black top mid '90s Cadillac Brougham in the vet parking lot.
  18. The 7 series interior really hasn't changed since this generation came out for 2016, until 2020 when updates to the interior include a new 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen
  19. I think that's a '60s German Ford Taunus...
  20. What the holy fuck do taxi cabs in Greece have to do with anything????? Priuses are taxi cabs in the US. Stop it with the long winded tedious drivel and focus on the subject of the thread...
  21. The CLA seems redundant with the A-class sedan, since they are essentially the same thing. The C-class at least is RWD.
  22. The AMG E-class is a performance luxury vehicle.. same idea as the CTS-v was.
  23. That looks like the trim and spec of one I sat in at the auto show (seems like so long ago now). I didn't care for the dreary charcoal interior and vile CF trim. A light tan interior w/ some wood would be way more appealing to me.
  24. Anyway, trying to get back on topic and away from all the rambling TL;DR nonsense, the new Genesis looks like a nice entry in the premium sedan market..will be interesting to see how it does if the car market comes back eventually..
