  1. Sounds like the Cupra el-Born will start at around 45k euros. https://ev-database.org/car/1178/CUPRA-el-born
  2. Had a very wet April/May/early June here, but been very warm and dry the last two weeks.
  3. Looking stormy here..I've been moving hoses w/ sprinklers around the front and back yard and trying to keep it from completely going tan...been a hot, dry stretch lately.
  4. Hurst
  5. Chevy really needs a good crossover coupe--I think they need to be bold and do a Corvette crossover coupe....a rugged mid-engined 2 seat SUV--that would be bold. Something that would make the Lambo Urus look weak.
  6. 'twas but a typoe.. Hadn't heard of Turkey Hill, have had Blue Bunny somewhere before. My favorite home ice cream around here is from one of my local grocery chains, Heinen's.. Their ice cream is delicious.
  7. Sounds like we may get the Corolla Cross. https://www.autoblog.com/2020/07/09/toyota-corolla-cross/
  8. I suspect it will be eliminated soon also. Or replaced with another CUV.
  9. Spark is made in S Korea. So without the Sonic, they will be down to 5 cars in the US (Spark, Malibu, Camaro, Corvette, Blot) 5 CUVs, 2 SUVs, and 2-3 truck families...
  10. Instead, GM NA gave us the Celebrity Eurosport...which was neither Euro nor Sport.
  11. Small block Chevy. That should be a very familiar abbreviation around here...
  12. The Buick V6 is on Ward's 10 Best Engines of the 20th Century list, along w/ the SBC.
  13. The funny thing is I get calls occasionally about selling my former Phoenix house..which was sold in 2017. (and the price of it has more doubled since it was sold in 2017 and remodeled).
  14. Ya, I definitely wouldn't be thinking about if a vehicle has manual or power windows in traffic..manual windows seem like an obsolete 20th century artifact like carburetors or bias-ply tires; something I'd never think about.
  15. Kaiser bought the license to build it in '65, Jeep used it in the CJ-5 and 6 from '66-71, the 'Dauntless' V6. The Wagoneer was offered w/ a Buick 350 V8 briefly around the same time also.
  16. I can remember my Mom doing the points thing in the 70s...can't recall the store, though. I like the design of the Rivian, but I don't really see any resemblance to a Suburban other than it's a 4dr wagon.
  17. Interesting how my neighborhood here in the Cleveland suburbs is doing...for three years after I bought my house in 2017, the estimated value of my house didn't go up much--maybe $25k with some fluctuations, but after the houses on each side sold in June, my estimated value went up by $100k.
  18. constipation
  19. IMO, all the '73 GM mid sizers had the best rear styling of the '73-77 generation---'73 was the only year they had the tight rear bumpers before the '74 federal bumpers. The '73 Olds and '73 Buick are probably my favorites of that generation.
  20. My local's Jeep mix was odd...low on GCs and Wranglers...loads of Compasses and Cherokees. 2 Gladiators--both white (bleh). The GC mix was odd--4 dark red, one gray, 7 white (bleh).
  21. No idea, but my local CRJD dealer had a huge number of Rams on the lot. 95 2020 Rams according to their website. And 11 new 2019s.
  22. islands (looks like I'll have to wait until 2021 to get back to my favorite local islands)
  23. Ok, they are getting out of the normal sedan and hatchback business..they are still building tall vehicles.
  24. Remember, Ford is getting out of the car business in NA...the Mustang is their only car left. (Fusion is gone after 2020, though the name may return on a CUV).
  25. Too small for me, but a Fiesta ST might be fun...I've read they handle really well. About the only recent small Ford I've driven was an Escape rental about 3 years ago. Lots of hard gray plastic inside.
