  1. Carmen Miranda was not showing off the car. It was the actress Eva Longoria playing Gabrielle on the show. That'd be Lynette. Love her character.
  2. See, I don't like getting lost. And the thought of just one day, driving west... just going nowhere in particular, staying in hotels on my travels, yet always being able to find your way back.. just sounds like fun.
  3. Because some people, such as myself, would like NAV and would consider it far from a waste of money as I am someone who loves to travel via car. It is also there to compete with other cars. Hell, if the Accord, Altima, Camry, and a freaking Civic or Mazda3 can offer it, I would think a larger, more expensive "premium" sedan should offer it.
  4. Wow, I think Barbie might be jealous.
  5. Oh, and the interior 360's SUCK compared to the older Buick.com. They used to be so smooth and clear--these are nowhere near as nice.
  6. I still think the site will be revised over the next couple of weeks. I found a few mistakes here and there, and with any website launch, there are probs/errors that get noticed and corrected within a little time. Give it 1.5-2 weeks, at that point-the site should be up and running, full, error-free (as much as possible). After that, well, that's just pathetic to have any mistakes.
  7. Not to mention Sagemist doesn't really look like anything other than a light grayish/silver.
  8. From what I read like a month ago, all 2006's were going to get the leather shift knobs instead of the wood. 140? Wow, you would think that since they updated their website today, they would also have 2006 pictures... the speedometers in the pics say 120mph!
  9. LOVE THAT COLOR! I think it's just the pictures--the lights are the same.
  10. Or growing up... when someone is turned on by men, and their culture has a very negative view on it, they'll end up feeling shame. *whew* Glad those days are gone!
  11. You know what I'm a little disappointed with? It would just have been nice if the Lucerne and Terazza made 200hp each for base. I mean, it's just so much nicer than 197 and 195.. granted you wouldn't really feel a difference, but those numbers are just anemic sounding. I'm still thinking the Rainier and Terazza should be junked... think the other 3 vehicles are great for Buick's portfolio right now.
  12. It doesn't work in Firefox... use IE.
  13. Well, I got what I asked for--more pictures. I have to say, I may have just found a new color of the LaCrosse that I like more than the Deep Sapphire Metallic--I love the Slatestone. I'm impressed with the overall update of Buick.. all the logos match (monochromatic), and I'm seeing little changes all through the product line that is giving me hope. Only time will tell if it is enough. Like the layout of the webpage.. think it looks nice, clean.
  14. I really am happy that 1) there are an abudance of exterior colors, and 2), they are trying to at least introduce just a few more creative interior colors. It's only a matter of time before we see the Buick Flagship that comes out in a few years (fingers crossed), that will have some bold, exciting choices :)
  15. All except for you, Razor :P
  16. Whoah... where did this come from!?
  17. AMEN to that! I'm so sick of people driving like every road on the Earth is a freaking racetrack. Buick does a great job of being a "Boulevard Cruiser". They don't have the sportiness down, which I'm cool with--but they need it for competition because the world is obessed with knowing exactly how the car will handle on a 25mph exit ramp when they enter it at 90. <_<
  18. I think the G6 is a very nice-looking car. I think it would have been an awesome successor to the Grand Am (in terms of keeping the GA name)
  19. Yeah, I loved it in the banner too. I can't wait for Buick.com to put their stuff up so I can check it out in more detail.
  20. When the hell is Buick.com going to finally update their site for 2006?
  21. Okay, definitely not a Sable wiseguy :P As for the A3... possible.. I thought the taillamps were Audi-esque, however, the chrome logo was too small and square to be the audi four-rings.
  22. I hate, HATE, when people throw trash out of their windows and it lands on my car while we're driving. I had someone throw out napkins--like a handful that I guess they didn't need anymore, land in front of me--one got pinned around my antenna and the other against my hood ornament... for 40 miles!! Then I gotta touch their nasty shit to get it off my car. How how about when someone dumps coffee or soda out their window while driving on the highway and it sprays all over your windshield, so you have this nice sticky, syrupy texture to deal with later, all over the front of your car?
  23. OCN, I used to pray every night that I would at least wake up the next day bisexual... the thought of having a wife and kids just sounded so much easier than being a full-out homosexual. Alas, though, I likes what I likes... now that I'm cool with it, it's no big deal, but man, it woulda helped when I was younger!

    Pictures!

Actually, from that angle, they look like unfolded condoms! lol
  25. ABSOLUTELY! Why on earth are all of the taillamps of GMs cars looking the same? I mean, they're all getting basically round/circular illuminations... ie, 2005 LaCrosse, 2006 Lucerne, 2006 Impala, 2005 Cobalt, 2005 G6, etc. They may differ the lens ever so slightly, but overall, they look the same when lit. Buick--large, horizontal taillamps... should be LED. Should (in my opinion), get the treatment the Deville had, with the LED taillamps covered by a lense cover that didn't allow you to see they were like a million little bulbs, but rather just a large block of instantly-illuminated red. As for the silver plastic hubcap things... nope... THANKFULLY, GM is putting wheels on from the base Lucerne (16") through the top-o-da-line CXS (18") :)
