  1. I bet people will remove the cover and therefore give the window some real purpose.
  2. Toyota has a bad habit of bloating its vehicles every generation, more specifically its trucks and SUVs. Their New Year's Resolution should be to put those lines on a diet.
  3. Strangely, they have almost all of the trucks/SUVs/CUVs covered (except the Colorado/Canyon and Express/Savana), as well as all Cadillacs, the Lucerne CXS (and just now the CXL), the Corvette, and the Grand Prix (but strangely not the G8). SAABs not included. Considering how they have seemingly millions of models, even just to get them on the flagship cars of each brand would be a huge step in the right direction. I have a feeling they're working on something though.
  4. Link is here. Thoughts? Personally, I kinda like it, but it's the answer to a question no one asked... kinda like the CLS it's supposed to compete against.
  5. Considering I was in the middle of writing a final paper when I read that headline, it absolutely made my day.
  6. Save something for the next Lucerne.
  7. As was said, most of those buyers, save for enthusiasts, don't know if it's a pushrod or OHC engine that's moving their car. Sometimes I don't even know unless I go back and look it up. Moreover, most of those buyers in the baby-boomer generation that you keep mentioning are those who swore off domestics after the debacle that was the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Correlation is most likely not equal to causation here. BTW, ask Toyota how those reliable DOHC Camry and Tundra engines are going for them... Define "compete." Nice of you to limit your question to only the special-edition model of the 300 while leaving out that little bit of information that every 300C uses a pushrod engine. And considering how there are 300Cs everywhere... not to mention Charger and Magnum R/Ts... Those engines are usually old enough for tuners to have figured them out by now, especially the RSX and Celica which aren't even made anymore. Plus, Scions are designed for tuning and modding anyway.
  8. But there's already the Yaris... .... oh, wait, never mind...
  9. Thank you. PS... imagine a BTS-V...
  10. Why not? Surely you don't think this car has the M3, C63, RS4, and IS-F on its radar...
  11. Wait a minute... How are you gonna name a truck "Tundra," and then not build it well enough to do real work in the snow?
  12. Oh yeah, congrats to Cadillac and GM. Believe it or not, I finally saw one on the road last week... two, actually, in the same day. I would have kept following one of them around the Capital Beltway if I didn't have to drive to class. I'll see if I can convince my mom to get into one. She wants a Lexus GS next, I think.
  13. Old perceptions die hard. Even among enthusiasts.
  14. Chrysler Challenger... Chrysler Viper... Chrysler Caliber... Nope, those sound as good as Chrysler Voyager...

    08 Chargers

While I've seen much better looking interiors, this one looks rather functional, which is what's most important in the end.

This is how you promote a car.
  17. Rub it in, whydon'tcha... I wonder how the nose would look if the license plate holder were off to one side... like a lot of cars back in the day had. I'm sure it would look weird on a new car, but at least the view of the nose would be uninhibited.
  18. Fixed the link.
  19. I saw one on the back of a truck a few weeks back... no idea where it was headed. As far as on the road, no.
  20. LOL... Auto people should refrain from trying to speak Spanish.
  21. :::shrug::: I like perusing the customer reviews from time to time.
  22. I still like the first gen better...
  23. It looks like a shrunken R-Class. I can only imagine...
