  1. I was in the Bahamas about seven years ago... interestingly, they drive on the left with LHD cars.
  2. The other day I saw a girl driving one of those, in black, on the freeway. Probably doesn't even know what she has...
  3. Link is here Oh, and sorry if this has shown up elsewhere.
  4. But see, that makes too much sense for the media.
  5. Unattractive or not, Hyundai showed some cojones by showing this right after GM cancelled the G8 Sportwagon.
  6. You could start there...
  7. Sweet. Sounds like what I could see myself getting once I enter that market.
  8. GM is also hybridizing, for lack of a better term, many of those huge beasts as well. Which do you think tends to have a much better effect: making products with relatively good mileage have better mileage (Camry, Highlander, RX400h) or making products with horrible mileage have much more respectable mileage for their class (Tahoe, Yukon, Escalade)?
  9. Fixed link: http://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=264955 It's interesting reading the comments though. Some are recognizing the strides that Cadillac is making, while others refuse to believe the brand as anything more than "old people's transportation." I wish I would see an old person in a 2009 CTS-V... or even a 2005...
  10. Y'all gettin snow up there?
  11. Let's see... Me: Lincoln MKS EcoBoost, Infiniti Q (the forthcoming one), or Cadillac Zeta-V (daily driver) Chevy Camaro SS (all black) (toy) Mrs. Me: Infiniti G35x or Cadillac CTS4 DI 3.6 People Hauler: GMC Acadia AWD (are they planning to come out with a Denali line?)
  12. '07 MB CLS63 AMG, silver 70s-80s (not sure) Jaguar XJ6... with four flats Dodge Neon SRT-4, white
  13. I hear ya on all counts. I'm looking forward to test-driving one when they come out... it's been a while since I test-drove something, and I'm having withdrawals.

    Pictures!

I'm late to the party, I know... Here's me and my wife. ... and a lighter one...
  15. Loopholes are not only great, they're the American Way. The only drawback to your post is that it would probably mean much more to GM product development if E85 were more widely available.
  16. +1. I wonder how much rear headroom it has with that roofline though.
  17. You know what? I actually like that one.
  18. Two things I like about this truck: 1. Once again, the example of what Toyota tried to do and fail'd. 2. The Dodge interior, while crappy in its cars, actually works for the Ram.
  19. I was at one of the BPG dealers last week (not the nearest one to me... I felt like driving a few miles). He had told me, then, 3-6 weeks. So it lines up to what the OP said. Either way, I'll be there to look at it up close.
  20. A possibility. Still, I wonder how compatible the map systems are in Australia and the UK... probably closer than I think.
  21. In amenities and such, yes. In interior space, only barely.
  22. All I know is, whether FWD, RWD, or AWD, they better do it right. Meaning, apart from size and concerns that go with that, there should be no reason for someone to say that the Malibu offers something that the Impala doesn't. All I want to see is a proper flagship sedan instead of a disputed title like they have right now... much like what's going on over in Cadillac.
  23. Oh, here we go... Besides the question of whether anyone wants or needs it (apparently some do want it, as it is offered in some GM cars and almost all GM SUV/CUVs and trucks), it shows to be a bad business move on GM's part for two reasons: 1) On this side of the pond, the Grand Prix had (and still has) sat-nav as an option. For the G8 to be a new and improved replacement for the GP but not have it available, especially on the new flagship car, this is a confusing omission. 2) The Commodore from which the G8 was birthed has sat-nav available. The Vauxhall VXR8 has sat-nav available. The G8 does not. This is called either bean-counting or decontenting (or both), and it's the easiest way to get blasted by everybody if you're importing a car. Another example of the bean-counting to get the price down on the G8 can be found if you replace sat-nav with Bluetooth connectivity.
