  1. OK, now, that's a trip. At least you can find decent-enough cars in your color... I'd love to see a new hunter green one that wasn't made by Toyota or Honda.
  2. Too many of y'all like those yellow cars! It's hard to keep up!
  3. True...... but the Wii would be completely legal. :AH-HA_wink:
  4. - About 4 new Sequoias... - Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG in Silver Spring - BMW M Coupe in DC - Bright yellow Pontiac GTO... for you, NOS! Oh yeah... an Audi S5...
  5. Go Braves!

    Ethnic Food

Hmm... my favorite "ethnic" foods... In order, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, Indian. Which somehow reminds me, I need to go back to this Trinidadian restaurant near me. Only been there once since I moved here.
  7. :pokeowned::pokeowned: And from a Dodge guy too... (I keed, I keed!)
  8. So I was out driving around looking for some nice used cars because I'm looking to get out of the Pathfinder soon. I was driving to the next county over, and I decided to stop at this one small used car lot that I always pass by when I go out that way. They had a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville SLE in gold with tan leather. 52K miles, around $9k price. Loaded with everything but the CD player. I took it out for a spin and loved how it felt. Big, luxurious, and sporty at the same time. This car would be perfect for me and my wife, because we take car trips quite often. I'm tellin y'all, the only thing that kept me from buying the car was that our money's not quite right yet, as we still only have one income due to me being in school full-time. I'm hoping the car will still be around come this summer, because that's the best used car I've seen and test-driven in quite a while. If not, I may have to settle for one of the several Auroras for sale around here. My question to you, fellow C&Gers, is... is this deal too good to be true, or is it? And for those of you who are spiritual (as well as those of you who are not ), pray that the car is still there when I'm able to buy it.
  9. Just long enough for all of us to go look at them.
  10. If that were the case, the Toyota Avalon would already have made the RL useless, from an interior perspective. The Genesis jacked the Avalon's interior design for the most part.
  11. Or how about not... :AH-HA_wink:
  12. Hmm... I guess I learn something new every day, although it's something I should have known. I often see people still refer to the forthcoming GT-R as a Skyline though... just wanted to make sure that he wasn't doing the same.
  13. Besides the GT-R, what is this Skyline of which you speak?
  14. Is that a hood bulge or a pocket of air?
  15. I play the piano, percussion (a little bit), and I sing. And I still remember how to play the recorder from elementary school.
  16. Sounds like a lawsuit if it comes over here.
  17. If you're gonna compare biggest engine to biggest engine, you can't deliberately leave out the CTS-V... Anyway, I'm guessing someone here will have to have sat in and/or test-driven a Genesis before they come to any conclusions about it. On the other hand, in an attempt to get back on topic, I wonder if the Genesis will out-sell the RL. It very well may.
  18. I hear you and all, but AFAIK GM has never confirmed ASTRA Red Line, and IIRC the next Cobalt won't be ready until MY '13. Personally, I'd have liked to seen at least a concept for the next Impala or LaCrosse, but you know how the song goes... "you can't always get what you want..." There's still time for some good stuff though.
  19. I thought fast depreciation was one of the enemies of true luxury cars. Oh yeah, GM's press release lists a time of 5.9 sec for the LaCrosse Super. Read it and weep.
  20. Too bad about those CTS variants, the Provoq/BRX, the Traverse, and the ZR-1. I for one was hoping they would go into production or something.
  21. He actually had a CD out about 4-5 years ago. They called *that* his comeback.
  22. Here in the suburbs of Baltimore, I've seen some rather strange pairings, such as: Cadillac-Pontiac-GMC, with Chevrolet-Buick right across the street Chevrolet-Cadillac in another suburb Besides those, I've seen a Chevy-Dodge lot and a Chevy-Mitsubishi lot with the same dealer. But anyway... I agree with Cros when he said to pair Saab and Saturn due to their Euro roots, with one being mainstream and one being upscale. Cadillac and Hummer make sense since neither of those will bump heads. P-B-G is in place, and Chevy is big enough to be on its own without help.
  23. On what grounds?
