  1. Another new E320 BLUETEC, this one in black. Refreshed Chrysler 300. The lip spoiler does help matters.
  2. Acadia and Outlook, maybe. Enclave is different enough, IMO. The Traverse will be as well. You want badge jobs? Land Cruiser/LX570.
  3. W and G platforms phase out around that time... But Epsilon II will be out. They could probably use the capacity.
  4. Don't you hate that?
  5. Not a contradiction if done properly. I've never not seen it work as long as it wasn't a domineering or tyrannical situation, which is what I think you're envisioning. This is good stuff right here.
  6. Ya know, you coulda said 19 years this June. But June's a good month... my wife and I turn 2 on the 3rd.
  7. I didn't want to flame you without due cause. :AH-HA_wink: Hey, how long has it been for you two?
  8. I'm here in VA 'cause my younger brother and cousin each graduated from college. Tomorrow I'm not sure what we'll do for Mom. The wife wants to make her breakfast, so we'll see what we can do. By the by, my wife's mom passed eight years ago, so... yeah.
  9. It's the 21st century, since you asked. They're equal partners in the relationship, yeah, but he has to be the head of the house. His wife not respecting the decision that was made is why he's posting in the first place. P.S.: Börger, I almost didn't read the rest of your response after the bolded part. I was about to get upset.
  10. I guess the money can't be recouped by now... But you guys had a plan; the two of you need to stick with it. And as you're the man of the house, you have to make sure that happens, and your wife has to respect it. Finances is definitely not the area that the two of you shouldn't both be on top of, nor should it be kept from one another.
  11. Wait until they compare it to the M3...
  12. I can't lie... I am more of a sedan person. But that's probably because I'm often driving several people around (or, since I'm a married man, several grocery bags). That's most likely the explanation. Consider this, though... often, if you're in the market for a BMW and are not looking for the most basic model just so you can say that you have a BMW, a $5k difference becomes less significant.
  13. For American vehicles, old-people mobiles don't generally get to enjoy flagship status. Case in point: Panther platform-mates, with the exception of the Town Car, and that's slated to change.
  14. Went to the BMW dealership near me today. Saw quite a few 1-Series for the first time in the metal. Quite honestly, for the price they command, I'd still rather get a 3.
  15. If we're talking platforms, well, I still have that '01 Bonneville I'm trying to get into. Beyond that, well, hey... And I still say this... "all this from a MOTOR TREND article..."
  16. I sure hope so, CARBIZ. But what will stop Big Oil from price-gouging? There have to be laws against it.
  17. ... let's just see if there's fire. It may well be just Cheech and Chong.
  18. Probably a Sportwagon out for a test before they're released into the wild.
  19. All of this over a Motor Trend article...
  20. Can't resist a Spanish teaching opportunity, lol... it would be "Feliz cumpleaños." And thanks.
  21. On a dealership expedition today: Three 2009 Acura TSX, one black, one white, one blue. The grille IMO is the best part of the nose of the car, but that's not saying much about the front in particular. It's... off, somehow. A LOT of Jaguar XFs, one supercharged. I didn't get a chance to sit in one, however. Two current-gen BMW M5s, one black, one white. I almost hit someone while looking at the black one.
  22. Thank you guys. ocnblu, that's actually the 2nd time today someone has told me "Happy Birthday" in French. Funny, 'cause my second language is Spanish.
  23. Saw my second smart fortwo on the road in DC this evening. Black and white. Still don't like it.
  24. Very well said. I agree completely.
  25. I dunno about driving it either...
