  1. Hmm... tough call. I don't really have an affinity for just one brand. I like Chevy trucks, mainly because I learned to drive in one. In a sense, it was my first vehicle, even though it was still my dad's. That truck was great though... my grandfather has it now. I think it still hasn't crossed the century mark yet. I like Cadillac because, well, they're Cadillac. My dad's STS doesn't hurt either. And... ... that's why I like Pontiac. Currently it's the best shot I got at an American muscle sedan (and no, Chrysler LLC doesn't cut it for me... )
  2. I haven't filled my Pathfinder up in quite a while. It's just as well, since I'm not commuting to DC anymore until August. I just putter around Baltimore, looking for deals on used cars to get before '09 rolls around.
  3. Lamar

    Pictures!

Thank ya kindly, fellas. We'll be hittin the 2-year mark on Tuesday the 3rd.
  4. Congrats, DF. We got high schoolers in here? Y'all are BABIES!
  5. Yesterday, an off-white Jaguar XF... no dealer tags, but owned by someone. First one I've seen. I tried to follow it as far as I could, but I had to stop off and pick up our pizza for dinner...
  6. So another change for the '09 Jetta is that the SEL trim will get the 2.0T engine...
  7. You must ride a bike or something.
  8. If there were even a *modern* replacement for the Lucerne that was FWD/AWD, I wouldn't mind so much. But now, I dunno...
  9. Man, you got a good woman there.
  10. Women... Hey, it's weird though... I just put $20 into the Pathfinder yesterday at a Shell station that was 3.99 (for 89). Every other place I saw, including the other Shell a half mile down the road, had 89 going for 10-15 cents more. Anyone else seen such anomalies at the big gas stations?
  11. In Cali? Was the driver lost?
  12. I remember that the last Lincoln Continental had driver-adjustable suspension. Though I haven't seen it in any American cars since (then again, I haven't looked ), it's an idea that I'm sure GM could work in there.
  13. Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale. Of COURSE it was red.
  14. That's weird, considering the stations all have to pay people to pump the gas for them... ... but in light of how our gas is 20 cents more, I'd gladly take that trade-off.
  15. I'm gonna go on record by saying that you can call me "Black." It saves time. Back on topic... the guy didn't notice the huge shadow growing overhead? And he really didn't hear the bird falling? I'm not against walking with headphones so long as they're at a level where you can still hear everything around, like traffic. That's just asking for it to drown out the outside world.
  16. I'm gonna be optimistic and say $3.35. ... Anyone? ....... Anyone?
  17. Nissan Altima Hybrid... in Alexandria, VA. Strange, considering they don't sell them in DC, MD, or VA. Perhaps someone traveled up north to buy it?
  18. Good observation. I was thinking about this thread when I observed two Camrys (one current, one last-gen) and a RAV4 driving like discourteous maniacs.
  19. Any old Buicks around? (you did say "granny cars")
  20. Almost forgot about this one from a few days ago... Saturn ASTRA 5-door, in black. First one I've ever seen on the road.
  21. Which dots are Baltimore and DC?
  22. I pulled this one out back in high school in conversation: "I don't think I know everything. I don't even know half of what I think I know."
  23. Brilliant!
  24. Lack of driving sensation and feedback does tend to dull the senses considerably...
