    Remember that GM has a sneaky habit of pitching low HP numbers at first and then upgrading them. Kinda like how the LLT went from 304 to 312 hp without any engineering improvements whatsoever.

    I completely understand your POV as far as why you wouldn't putter around in a subcompact; to be honest, neither would I for very similar reasons. I was just confused as to how you worded your above post. To me it sounded like you were saying that being able to go 500+ miles on a 42-gallon tank was a good thing. But if that's worth it to you -- the safety of you and yours -- then if you like it, I love it.

    With your Suburban, 13 combined MPG * 42-gallon tank = 546 miles. Yes, you can go far, but you aren't achieving anything close to good fuel economy...

    Baltimore Orioles (the state bird). Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Coyotes, Phoenix Suns (all associated with the desert). San Antonio Spurs (cowboy theme). Wnat's also interesting is how many team names don't have anything to do with the area the team is in due to relocation... Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz, for two. However, the San Diego Rockets moved to Houston and the name still fit.

    Saw a Prius V earlier today. Took me a second to recognize it as such. Also, seen SEVERAL Nissan Leafs (Leaves?) around Athens in the past week. Strange considering this isn't that big an area.

    Only if they get a new plant. I'd wager that Fusion was able to sell more because they weren't building the Milan anymore. That surprised me too. A very pleasant surprise, at that.

    I like it. A bit softer on the outside than I had expected though... and, like other new cars, it suffers from high-butt syndrome. But I dig the interior (especially the color palette), and the engine choices sound promising.

    Mostly ups and downs.... Birth of a daughter. Death of a grandfather. Green Bay Packers' 4th Super Bowl victory. Atlanta Braves' second-worst late season collapse in history. But overall, I'm pretty happy with the way the year turned out. Time for 2012 to surpass it in every way imaginable.

    I like the Quest. Not sure when/if we could get into a current-generation model, but I do like it. Agree with the wagon idea. I'd drive one myself if I could find one I liked and could easily afford any repairs (huge knock on VWAG right there). Problem is, I seriously doubt my wife would want it for herself.
