  1. I really love the 9-3. I drove an Arc a couple years ago at the ASIM in SD, and it was a blast! If I wasn't a Camaro nut I would definitely look past the FWD, come to terms with its slightly higher price tag, and pick up an Aero. It would even be sweet if they made a coupe with the rear end of the convertible.
  2. hmmm... you want to make a few more mod's, while I want to remove a few of mine. I've been thinking of taking off the aftermarket headers and custom exhaust, and returning the entire exhaust system to OE.
  3. should have said "early on the 14th," and now it seems like I will be able to meet up with most of the guys.
  4. What's a mustang?
  5. True, but do you see everyone driving that mini-van instead of the current Tahoe? So why wouldn't they be driving the next gen., hybrid Tahoe?

    Car Spotting

I saw everytihng at LAIAS :P
  7. Looks good, but I need to see it from some different views.
  8. The black interior is sweet! I only got to see tan and light grey at the show.
  9. Ostrom in Montebello

    How soon?

what happened to the special invite event on the 8th?
  11. I just saw it in person at LAIAS, and it's so good it left me speechless. I knew it was a Tahoe, but it's a totally different, much better one.
  12. I have my dad's '87 IROC to thank for my love of Camaros. I remember taking rides and asking him to floor it! I thought it was so cool when he would start it up and the car would rumble and shake (in a good way). I loved the dished 5-spoke wheels, the guage cluster, the IROC badge on the dash, the deep set headlights...
  13. I get in early on the 14th, and go straight to the show. Sounds like I'll be missing most of you guys... EDIT: changed 13th to 14th... see you guys there!
  14. I got back from the show a couple hours ago. It was good, it's just that all the C&G debuts killed some of the excitement of seeing the new stuff for the first time. Anyway... I took some pictures, mostly of GM stuff. I'll post some soon.
  15. We are good friends with the owner of a Chevy dealership
  16. The FJ pricing might look great, but did you know it requires premium unleaded fuel? Just read that in the new MT, and thought I'de share.
  17. I got free tickets, so I'm going tomorrow with my father and brother. I'm still thinking of going again on the 13th. It all depends on if I feel like coming to LA for that, then back to SD that night to catch the flight to Detroit.
  18. how'd you move the marker?
  19. Holy Crap! You're back! Christmas was good, except I was doing work (research) everyday of my "vacation." How was South America? My sister is going to Rio de Janeiro in a couple weeks, and everyone has been telling her that it's not the best places to be. Nice to see you back on the boards.

    The Stalk

I like one stalk that takes care of it all. Anything else just gets in the way, and you end up turning on windshield wipers while making left turns, or washing your windshield when you really want the "mist" function. Also, I hate it when the headlight controls are on the stalk.

    HELP...

I ended up at my fall-back college. I didn't go for free (but it was the cheapest) and there was no incentive for "vehicle of my choice" (allthough I was driving a Camaro), but it was one of the best educational decisions ever.

    Car Spotting

saw this one about a week ago... Mitsubishi Galant with... a Jaguar hood ornament
  23. Is that just a curious HMMMM, or an "I know something, and it's bad news" HMMMM?
  24. yyyyup! Life it tough when you have to choose between your car and smokin hot women. But, like I said... only the car is off limits...
  25. Sweet! I would hit the 158 mph mark everytime, just for the hell of it :D
