  1. Camaros had T-tops, never (I don't think) targa tops.
  2. I won't be going to the Houston show, I was lucky enough saw the real thing in Detroit... It's good to hear that the concept is such a hot item, and I hope it continues getting the attention and fanfare along the rest of the show circuit.

The only thing I would really use it for would be live traffic/accident reports in my vicinity. Otherwise... I tend to know where I am, and where I'm going.
  4. Croc: Just out of curiosity... Have you seen the concept in person?
  5. 1) The beltline isn't high, the roofline is just low. 2) Nobody comlains about the trunk access in the convertible or the hardtop 'Vettes 3) The interior is not a joke, but it is purely a concept. Of course it would not make it to production.
  6. 16? I snapped about 30-40! I figured, if I'm going all the way to Detroit for the Camaro, then I better take some good pics. So brought along my mom's 8 Megapixel Cannon EOS something, the 1 Gig memory card, and just kept snapping pictures.
  7. If I read correctly, it's length is around the CRV's but is width almost equals that of the X5. Must be roomy!
  8. It was a Super Bee. I think it's parked behind that raised center display with all the SRT vehicles.
  9. sweet... I still have to post some I took on the 14th!
  10. Bottled. I only drink tap water if I am in Lake Tahoe (the lake water is delicious!)
  11. I probably should have been a little more clear in my comment. It doesn't look like an acura. It's not classy and refined like the rest of the line-up. Its design aspects look out of place.

Oh great! I mean, I'm sure these are great shows. I just never got into them, and I really hate when other shows come on when I'm expecting the usual stuff. BTW, where were you on 1/14? It was just NOS and I at the show.

Damn 24 ruined my Sunday night. All I wanted to do was watch the Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad... instead I got Keifer Sutherland!
  15. Hey NOS, what's up with the "West side" you are throwing with your left hand? Northstar: there wasn't really a crowd around the Enclave when I passed by. Maybe it was because they weren't anouncing/discussing anything about the car. In contrast to the Camaro display, which was packed the entire time.
  16. If they aren't speakers, they could be vents for the side window defrosters.
  17. My theory is that they don't let their "porkers" out of the house. I noticed the same in most of Europe.
  18. I saw it in person, and I think the rear seat will be way more generous then the 4th gen's.
  19. I did see it in person, and while it almost made it on my "oh not too bad" list, it still begs the question WTF! The RDX makes zero sense as an acura. It's as if somebody wasted time/money/effort designing this for honda, figured out honda had no room it it's line-up, and just gave it to acura.
  20. 1. OJ, breakfast 2. Milk, breakfast 3. Water, breakfast 4. V8, dinner 5. Orange soda, lunch
  21. I'm 6'3" and I fit fine in the Solstice (the top was down). It was snug, but what else do you want from a roadster. I've driven the last gen. Miata, and I definitely did not fit in those. BTW, they Sky was looking good at the NAIAS!
  22. I saw the Camry in person, and the front end really doesn't look good. The side profile of the front end looks like it has a wart (wear the toyota emblem sits), and the front gril design just looks odd. Almost like they took the corporate Mazda look and plumped it up.

    Car Spotting

I SAW THE CAMARO CONCEPT! :D (and whatever else happened to be at the NAIAS)
  24. If only I realized that before getting to Detroit (and I even noticed it in Chicago's O'hare), then I could have prepared myself for the lack of hot chicks.
