  1. I remember this one from elementary school... "Yo mama's so fat she uses the 405 (freeway in So Cal) as a slip-n-slide"
  2. I have it... it's great. You unplug the wires going to the skip-shift solenoid, and plug in a resistor (in place of the solenoid) to keep the computer thinking everything is OK. And, yes... a 1-3 skip would be better then a 1-4. But, it's not a natural shifting motion. Also... to whoever is using hi-po (Vette, CTSv) cars w/ 6-speed manuals to argue that 6-speeds doesn't equal a crappy torque curve... Those cars have a double overdrive, so it's more like a 4-speed. That kinda works in favor of Oldsmoboi's case.

    You mean high TOP, right?
  5. G6 GTP Coupe... Finally!
  6. New Tahoe New Escalade in a metallic brown? Didn't look as bad as it sounds. C6
  7. Very handsome. Sure the headlights-turn signal unit are a little radical, but not that bad. That interior is also very nice.
  8. Yup, I thought the same thing when I saw it at NAIAS. This belolngs with honda, acura.
  9. They're doing the same thing GM will do with the Colorado. So the Colorado will be getting a ?6 and V8?
  10. It's called "Frisco's," and we already have a couple in So Cal :AH-HA_wink: Anyway... I don't got a clue!

    Vacations

True the athletic programs suffer at smaller schools, but I prefer them for the lower teacher-to-student ratio. Now that I see how things are at a relatively big school, I'm glad I went to a small school for my undergrad. This summer I get no real vacation, just more research. I'll probably take a few weeks to relax. But... I will be in Los Alamos in mid-August (more work).
  12. I have seen more dark colored (black, grey) GMT 900's on the road. It's too bad the Escalade isn't selling in white/pearl, that color is nice.
  13. Last night I saw a new Tahoe, Escalade, Lucerne and 2 new DTS's
  14. All in favor... say Aye! AYE!
  15. Very nice. I always hoped my dad would get a newer generation Bonneville like yours. He really liked the GXP at LAIAS last year, but oh well... I really miss the power, room, comfort etc. of our '92 SSEi (RIP wherever it is).
  16. It would be nice if they used carpeted floormats with rubber inserts where the heel of your foot rests. I know my uncle's Venture has it, can't remember if our Tahoe does too.
  17. He didn't get a message... oh well!
  18. The same thing happened today to a friend of mine (he said the area code was 876, probably meant 786). He's using T-Mobile. I'll have to ask him to play the message for me.
  19. THANK YOU! Maybe I didn't say it as eloquently, but it's the thought that counts.
  20. I have a novel idea... Rather then complain about illegal aliens and waste money trying to keep them out, why not force the "lazy unemployed Americans" to take those "undesirable" jobs instead of leaving them up for grabs. Then they (illegal aliens) would have less reasons to come over! Kill two birds with one stone... imagine that.
  21. Because I'm sure you or any other "lazy unemployed American" would greatfully take the jobs they are doing for you.
  22. I'm also interested in the thread. It seems to have been "Moved," but where to? The link just gives an error.
  23. If you guys are really not happy with the car (I admit, the grill looks bad in the pics), then just tell GM and let's see what happens.
  24. I would be fine with an optional luxury package (not that I would want it), but I don't think the Berlinetta name should come with it. The name just sounds old and dorky.
  25. A white '07 Tahoe, looked really good
