  1. I used the thumb toggle switch when I test drove an Outlook, and felt like you have to keep your hand and thumb on the shifter or else you'de "lose your place." I would actually prefer the switches on the steering wheel or just being able to push the shifter up and down, because then you can either have both hands on the wheel or spend a second or two reaching down to push a lever.

    BURGERS

    In-n-Out!
  3. Three medium glasses of Black Label on the rocks... maybe four
  4. I just drove an XR about a half hour ago. Ride is smooth and solid, chassis feels good. The transmission shifts are seamless, and the "tap shift" is responsive (almost instantaneous). The engine feels powerful enough, I didn't really get to flog it (nor did I really want to). The dash lighting is really cool with an orange/yellow of the gauges and buttons, and white LED lighting for the displays.
  5. I got to spend a few minutes in an Outlook at LAIAS. I agree, the second row is a little low and the seats aren't that deep. But, the fact that they slide front to back means that legroom isn't much of an issue. The third row is CAVERNOUS, relatively speaking! My brother and I (we are 6'1" and 6'3" respectively) had plenty of legroom (with the middle row slid forward one or two clicks), plenty of headroom, and in no way did it feel tight or cramped.
  6. Seeing these interior picks almost gave me the same feelings I had when I first saw the Camaro concept last year. The way the wood strip extends across the dual cowels looks AMAZING.
  7. New Malibu Thread Note: that thread was started 3 hours before your post.
  8. The rear end looks good, but those tail lamps look weird... like, "not a Chevy" weird. Maybe it looks better in person. The rest of the car looks good!
  9. Looks cool... I wonder if "Premier Bush" will be driving one!
  10. You can get it with the 17" Sport Package. Which, if i'm correct, has the same mechanicals as the 18" Sport Package. The only downside is that all the cosmetic things like the grill insterst, spoiler, rocker panels, exhaust tips are dealer installed options.
  11. The 5, between LA and SD, the 605, 405, 60...
  12. Excellent job! Thanks!
  13. This one is dorky, but they also have a small roadster that looks pretty cool.

    Dear Santa

Affordable: new Camaro, Aura XR, slightly used CTS(-V) Cost No Option: Murcielago, Z06, XLR-V
  15. The grill and headlights remind me of the Dodge Shadow, and overall it looks LESS agressive to me.
  16. Sounds like fun. When I read the first few lines, I was hoping they were using revving engines and exhaust notes to make music. Oh well...
  17. Sweet... I knew I didn't give much extra information, so I was wondering how you guys filled up so much space. Excellent job guys!
  18. My dad's '87 IROC had a cool, state issued, plate: 2FST455 = too fast for 55 (mph), which used to be the speed limit at the time.
  19. Cool... my car! What's all that text between the "2000 Camaro SS" part and the name of the month?
  20. True in the short-term, but won't it make things look much worse when (assuming things go unchanged) in its next model year the Tundra's mileage drops 7-15%?
  21. Sounds good... I'm pretty sure we'll be replacing my mom's Tahoe with one of these.
  22. My aunt and uncle just picked up an '07 CTS with the "California Luxury Package," in Diamond White (or whatever the pearl white color is called) with the Cashmere interior. I'm looking forward to using the navigation combined with the real-time traffic reports. I get to drive it from LA to SD, and take care of it once it's down there I also don't get why you can't get any of the 18" wheel sport packages with navigation. The closest you can get is the 17" wheel luxury package, which has the sport suspension but not the load-leveling, upgraded breaks and a few other things, then have the dealer install the 18" wheels, body kit and exhaust tips.
  23. Our ex-neighbor bought my dad's IROC after it was traded in on an SSEi. The car was in good shape until the guy slid it into a curb, then left it to rot on his driveway.
  24. A new Sierra parked a couple blocks from my house! I always see a bunch of new GMT900 SUV's, but hopefully I'll start seeing more PU's too.
