  1. Nice... very nice... almost surreal! In my [GM biased] opinion, the Lambdas really are awesome, and it's nice to see that reinforced by "the industry."
  2. I finally did it... just gotta put the check in the mail!
  3. Too bad things like this don't happen in the So Cal area
  4. I should probably get off my ass and order these before it's too late...
  5. An Aura XR, in that goldish-brown color. Most importantly... NOT a rental, which I tend to see a lot of [rentals] in the San Diego area.
  6. Assuming you are showing "hp vs. rpm," could you also show the corresponding torque curves?
  7. +1 on that...I'm sick of server errors So you like this car better than the Super 88? Are you sure you wanna sell it? Also..please...for cripe's sake..not yellow. Orange, Red, Black (my favorite) or some sorta blue...but not yellow...unless you add black detailing to balance it. You guys know that if the server takes a dump while you are trying to post, you can just hit the "back" button on the web browser and recover everything. That way you won't have to make sure to copy whatever you want to post.
  8. No f-in way!!! Sorry to hear that! Have you considered writing a letter to Toyota? I hear they are a very nice company, and they might help you out with the fix Even better... they might offer replacing your Aurora with something they make, and then YOU can be the guy hitting everyone!
  9. Excellent idea-using a turbine-but how would it hold up in an accident? It might come down to a safety thing. And to make it safe you might need lots of shielding, which would add weight, which would require bigger electric motors... I like the idea, and I'm not trying to shoot it down. I'm just thinking it through...
  10. Call me crazy... but I think this will look fine on the street, and it will definitely stand out.
  11. To answer my own question... YES, Buick's website lists 8 passanger seating as optional on the CX and CXL. Also, the passenger seat has 4-way adjustments... and 4-way lumbar! Now does it make things better?
  12. I think he's referring to the Evoq concept.
  13. You are being sarcastic... right?
  14. As a fellow last-gen F-body (albeit not as rare) owner, I know how attached we can get to these cars and I can understand how tough it is to let one go. As much as I hope to keep mine forever, I still hate the thought that there exists a slight chance that one day I might have to give it up. Anyway... congrats on reaching your current goal.
  15. So... Is the second row bench NOT available?
  16. I really liked it, until I saw the picture of the interior... then the picture of the rear...
  17. My sentiments exactly... why downgrade to the 5.3 if the LS2 is available and applicable (made for a sports car etc.)?
  18. Find a highway with mile markers.
  19. Interesting... Both that it's speculated that the design differences will be so different from the Holden version, and that it might look like a Solstice. It's tough for me to imagine a big Solstice sedan.
  20. Really? What the hell did you eat since I saw you at last years show?
  21. The standard equipment for CX and CXL lists "7-pass seating w/second row captain's chairs." Will there be an optional bench for the middle row? When can we expect pricing?
  22. It's not just you... something is glowing. You're talking about that vertical line of light on the outsides of the headampls, right? I was going to ask about that. At first glance it looks almost like a neon bulb, but it's probably LED's.
  23. Awesome! Slightly off topic, but... Any thoughts about this "new display theme" where GM was supposed to be its own enclosure? I remember seeing a thread about how they wanted to do it, but I haven't heard anything about the final product.
  24. Downshift or leave it in gear, but never just put it in neutral. Putting it in neutral leaves you with one less way to control the car.
