  1. Wow... awesome pics. I'm bummed that I didn't get to see Greece when I went to Europe in '04.
  2. Maybe we should start an ME Mafia too :AH-HA_wink:
  3. Why wasn't I invited?
  4. I really like the Trax... too bad it's losing in the voting.
  5. Oh yeah... And, as for me... Los Alamos for work, 4/9-5/12 Mobile, AL for a friend's wedding, 5/17-5/20 Armenia for with my little brother's class trip, 5/22-6/05 NY,NY for a conference, mid July So... I have a busy couple months ahead of me, mostly for work but with some vacation in between.I probably won't be checking up on C&G that much, so you guys make sure nothing important happens... at least with the Camaro.
  6. I might ditch the MAC headers and Y-pipe and have the stock exhaust manifolds etc. re-installed.
  7. A couple Acadias 2 Mary Kay DTSs Lots of Denalis
  8. Born in Mexico City (dad grew up there, mom grew up in LA). The family moved to LA when I was 3, so my sister and I could grow up in an Armenian community. Aside from living in San Diego while I get my Ph.D., I've lived in LA county since 1983.
  9. No... he's rolling past a junkyard, and sees (what looks like) a bigger version of himself throwing around a crushed car. So, I think the point of this one is that in his nightmare he sees "himself" destroying what he used to build. Anyway... the commercial is still funny.
  10. Have you considered ear-plugs, or those fancy noise-cancelling headphones? It seems like you don't want to hear ANYTHING when you drive.
  11. I enjoy the smell of gasoline once in a while. How could it not be a safety problem?
  12. I actually think the Outlook looks more Chevy from the A-pillar back then the Acadia. So, I wonder if they would just ditch the wrap-around rear glass that the Outlook has, then change the front end end interior on it.
  13. Me too... but I can live with that one
  14. I like the stock wheels, as well as these. We once leased a '98 Z28, black-on-black, and all It was my dream to put matte black wheels on it and a matte grey body kit (like the RS used to have but with a NASCAR type lip on the wing).
  15. The regular-cab long-bed looks very akward.
  16. I think that hass been around for a while.
  17. I like the idea behind these concepts... can't wait to see all three and vote on them.
  18. O.C., I think the more acceptable pronunciation is: "Fon-tucky" Oh, and... the IE tends to smell like cow poo...
  19. Bummer! Each refresh/redesign just keeps getting worse...
  20. Who ever said they were MANUFACTURING engineers?
  21. My brother's got a game at 11 am in HB... don't think I'll be making it.
  22. Burbank!?! Yuck!!! My little brother might have a soccer game sometime in the morning/mid-day... I'll try to make it otherwise.
  23. What? You can see "all" of California just by going to California Adventure, so you might as well go to Disneyland too Anyway, I like Disneyland... Probably cuz I went so many times as a kid. I also agree that seeing more of the southern beaches is a good idea, as is staying near the coast.
  24. I've been living in So Cal for so long, that I never see it for its tourist attractions... I have driven up PCH, till Monterey. It's an awesome drive. Monterey is cool, you can see Cannery Row, the aquarium and just drive around the city in a day. Make sure to do the "17-mile drive" through Pebble beach. It takes a while, but it's worth it! As far as "must see" things in LA... um... Disneyland!?!
  25. Looks like things are going good... I'd probably never get the chance to restore a car like this, so it's exciting to see all the "goings on." Thanks for posting it all! Just thought I'd chime in on the wood color... What about a light wood, with a grey/black stain?
