  1. I'm fine with it. Mocha would be cool, and retro as ocn put it, and the dark blue is fine. I don't think a bright blue would work good with this car (though it does look good on 1st gens).
  2. Really? Most that I've seen have dealer plates. Maybe a couple that I've seen have been fleet, but I just haven't been paying attention.
  3. Yeah... except for one that I saw around Simi Valley, I haven't seen any. The new CTS was sort of like this too, and now I'm seeing 3-6 a week. Hopefully the Malibu will be the same! Unfortunately I'm seeing more sedans then coupes.
  4. Everything is working just fine for me. No need to log in over and over again, and pages (especially the "view new posts" pages) are loading nice and quick.
  5. The http://<stuff> is different, so I'm assuming we moved...
  6. Exactly... what was the turd's competition, did it even have any? This award applies to ONLY new (redesigned?) vehicles, right?
  7. Controls for the power seats, our '92 SSEi had the same.
  8. I had an '06 LS coupe (2.2L) as a rental in New Mexico. I drove the car for around 1,000 miles at altitudes ranging between ~6,000-8,000 feet and the car/engine did fine. It got good gas milage, and handled well. Agreed that the spoiler, while looks cool, takes away rearward visibility.
  9. '08 Malibu (LS?) in white
  10. It's been nuts in So Cal too... it rained two weekends in a row!!!
  11. 2 more '08 CTS's!
  12. The original AC Delco battery in my Camaro lasted a little over 5 years. It died shortly after I stopped driving the car on a regular basis.
  13. 3 '08 CTS's in the past two days, red, dark grey, and black
  14. That would be sweet!
  15. I've already waited this long...
  16. It's mechanically limited: 158 mph is redline in 5th gear, and since it has double over-drive it only hits 120 in 6th at nowhere near redline.
  17. You sure about that? That seems like a lot for this car (my SS tops out at 158). I thought it was somewhere in the 140's.
  18. Hey... stop it already!!! My V8 gets 30 mpg highway and it's almost 8 years old... I'd hope these newer ones could match that on the highway and improve on the streets. The problem isn't the fuel economy as much as it is the "premium" fuel requirement.
  19. I think ST is fine. If G8 gets changed to a non-alphanumeric name, then I can see changing ST to something else.
  20. Yeah... So unlike the H2T, which is more like an Avalanche, this is actually a separate cab and bed. Does this mean the regular cab could be the H4?
  21. Same thing happened with my dad's '87 IROC. In '92 he traded if on a '92 SSEi, then our neighbors (who we referred to as "the burbs") bought it from the Pontiac dealership. In no less than 2 months their son fish-tailed into a curb and through the rear suspension out of whack. The car sat in their driveway, two houses down from ours, and rotted away until they lost the house and everything else...
  22. I can feel your pain... I had a mini late 20's crisis when I saw the BMW 1-series at the LA autoshow.
  23. I thought the Tundra's crash test performance was nothing to write home about. The article makes it seem like the only full size pick-up that performs well... IIHS Top Picks
  24. Hopefully what he saw was more like the SEMA concept and not the G6 GXP...
  25. Sure I can vote etc. I'm just saying that if they are up to using "brute force" then at least focus it on where it would count the most instead of just getting rid of all of us. :AH-HA_wink:
