  1. A trailer carrying 3 new CTS's, all with Michigan mfg. plates, somewhere on the 5 between San Diego and O.C.

    Golf Hybrid

Check out the full story here. Note: pic at link is of regular diesel golf...
  3. I kind of like this better then the CTS Coupe concept.

    Thank You, C&G

As odd as it (the concept of online "family"/friends) sounds, I do agree... It was cool to MEET NOS AT NAIAS '06(?). And, I have to admit, while driving around the O.C. or L.A. I always think how fun it would be to spot a fellow C&G'er on the road (then of course post about it in the car spotters thread).
  5. I know... My car does, but it's a non-aesthetic piece of plastic under the car. I'm afraid that this piece is going to end up like the front lip of the body kit on '96-ish Camaro RS's.

    Ethnic Food

google search of "history of salsa sauce"
  7. Considering I rarely use the windshield washers and that I don't have to worry about freezing temperatures or snow, I would hate to have the nozzles sticking out of the hood. Anyway... does anyone else think that the lower lip on the front bumper (black plastic piece at the very bottom) isn't going to fare well?

    Ethnic Food

No... restaurant delis. The other place I was thinking about is Langer's deli, across from Mac Arthur park around 7th and Alvarado.

Mmmm to carnitas too! My father's friend (Armenian from Turkey) has a doner "machine" and is in the restaurant/catering business, so he would probably know of a restaurant that serves it but I've never seen it. It does. Any deli (I can only think of Canter's right now) should serve it. Are you sure? While you will find lots of "hot sauce," practically everywhere I've been in Mexico uses salsa.

Mmmmm.... "tacos al pastor!" It's too bad taquerias in the states can't make them like they do in Mexico City...
  11. Looks promising! I'd be really interested in a production version because I think it would be a cool (though possibly expensive for its size) car to drive until I get a Camaro.

    See...
  13. I think it missed the auto show because it was at the Grammy's instead... see Snoop with the Volt

    Glitch

It's happened to me on more that one occasion that 1) the page loads, but comes up with a bunch of "code" (html crap), or 2) the page loads blank.
  15. Who cares! I wish my car, and the new Camaro for that matter, didn't have any cup holders! How are you supposed to drink and shift/drive anyway? The only thing my cup holder is good for is keeping my cell phone in one place...
  16. electronic stability control (unless it was an SUV) traction control rear defrost (only on coupes, I deleted it on my SS) leather sunroof automatic A/C
  17. Agreed, when you compare it to the SUV's it doesn't fit the "truck" design language or look as good w.r.t. them. But I see it more as a progression of the car design language (Malibu, Volt(?)), and coming from that end I think it looks good.
  18. I like it a lot. The exterior has some hints of the other Lambdas, but it's way more differentiated then I expected. I'm starting to wish the lease on my mom's Enclave wasn't so long. BTW, wasn't the Traverse supposed to show Chevy's first version of the new center stack (integrated controls or something?)? The Nav and HVAC look the same as in the others...
  19. I think I accidentally broke the hood on one of them at the LAIAS...
  20. VW Karman Ghia? I could go for one of those...
  21. Same here... I told fly (a while ago) to take the check I sent as a donation. He hasn't done that either...
  22. I strongly suggest trimming it down with an electric trimmer (like what they use to cut hair, not an actual shaver), then using a traditional razor.
  23. Plain and simple: I wish for a 6th gen Camaro!
