  1. Was just a hint of what was to come: http://www.cheersandgears.com/topic/84447-id-like-to-introduce-you-to-oz/?p=755114 And to see if anybody read my signature lately
  2. I decided on the 2015 GMC Canyon SLT Crew Cab Long Bed 4wd to lease (wife wasn't initially happy but she's come around!). I'm leasing it for 48 months through GM Financial. Busy driving around, didn't get too many pictures yet. Weather forecast calls for the next several days to be rain/snow mix, so more & better pictures in the future

    :)

  4. Nope, not at all. I'd like to get lost myself for a few days actually
  5. So apparently ocnblu has gotten lost driving in his new Colorado
  6. For the new K2xxx models, the Sierra Denali models lost AWD that the previous models used and now feature the regular 4WD system as on all other 4WD Sierras.
  7. (dfelt, see post #26714 above ) costs
  8. I don't want to spoil all of ocnblu's fun, but here's a teaser for all those waiting to see the new rig: Hopefully this will get our friend to post some more pics
  9. So almost a week with the new truck. Can you share your experiences and thoughts?
  10. Take it for what it's worth, but last spring I spoke to a GM Fleet & Commercial manager at a fire trade show about the Caprice and he told me that GM rather push the Tahoe Special Services fleet vehicle than Caprices. Now I'm seeing more Caprices in municipal & state fleet service today that I am 2015 Tahoes but GM needs something more in line with the Ford Explorer Police Interceptor Utility than another sedan as the Explorer is the #1 police vehicle right now.
  11. Saw pictures of Bill's new truck on Facebook. That's one sharp looking Colorado and it looks sweet without the air dam in place. Looking forward to some pictures showing up here (I see he added it to the garage already). As always, my standard congratulatory saying:
  12. No, that'd be a Colorado version, Drew
  13. The wife was willing to let me get a Sierra, but they're just too darn expensive. Plus her G6 won't last forever and when we need to add a 2nd payment the Sierra would really stress our finances with another loan added. I still like the Impala but know 3-4 months after purchasing I won't be truly satisfied. If I let the wife get her Buick now the only thing standing in the way of a new GMC in '16 would be our finances but I'm not sure I want to see my driveway empty of a GMC just yet. Monday will tell for sure!
  14. Glad you got a peek tonight, Bill. I can't wait to see pics of your new rig. GMC had a Canyon in Cyber Gray Metallic on display at the Philly Auto Show and my wife fell in love with that color. That's my 2nd choice behind Emerald Green Metallic. I thought finding a Canyon in green was hard, I've found only one gray that's $2k higher than the green one I'm interested in (it has the LPO rims added).
  15. The Terrain is her choice if I go for a new vehicle, and the Canyon is mine. All 3 posted pictures are actual vehicles I've located, none of which my B-G dealer does not have on his lot. I'm going Monday to get #s, appraise my trade, and see if any of these three are still available for dealer trade.
  16. Oh Drew, the ruined of surprises!! Yes, the wife's choice if she gets the new vehicle is a 2015 Buick Encore Premium AWD. Specifically we like this one:
  17. I wasn't ignoring you, Z-06.. just trying to keep it a mystery for now I will tell you this, either I'm getting something new or the wife is. For me, I have something in mind and she has something else picked out for me. For her, we both agree on what she's after. If I go for the new vehicle, I want to lease as I like the prospect of a new vehicle in ~36 months; for her it's finance as she likes to own her vehicles. I'll start my own thread come Monday, if I move forward with the plan.
  18. I do like this view of the Equinox: I want to see the front of the vehicle from a 'normal' perspective, not a squatting-on-the-ground-point-of-view:
  19. Congrats Bill! You should called out sick today (or still do it Friday) to take delivery earlier Can't wait to see pictures and get your opinion of the new truck. I'll be doing some shopping myself come Monday (God willing!), but have the list down to three different vehicles after attending the 2015 Philly Auto Show last weekend with the wife.
  20. Awesome wagon! I'm very jealous GM never sold this version in the US.
  21. Also, I see the inspiration for the new taillight lens is from the 1st generation Equinox: 2005-2009: 2016:
  22. I was hoping that the MCE'ed GMC Terrain was going to show up with the Equinox reveal, but I guess I need to wait another ~50 days until the NYIAS starts. I can't say I'm overly impressed with the Equinox update in the front, reminds me of a Traverse Lite model. But then I'm not a big fan of the current Equinox anyway (Terrain, yes).
  23. Energy
  24. Can't wait to see pics of your new truck!
  25. I agree dfelt, and many Hummer dealerships were owned by Buick-Pontiac-GMC dealers (and I know of a few Cadillac-Chevrolet ones too). But GMC should have had the regular lineup (WT/SL, SLE, SLT), the Denali models, and the All Terrain models that were Hummers. I've preached for a long time that GMC needs to divide their lineup this way - they already have the All Terrain models but their not Denali-specific enough yet. Still a trim rather than a model lineup. And I'm not saying Chevy Trucks should be forgotten either, they should mirror GMC in a regular lineup and add the High County (i.e. Denali) and TrailBoss [Ed. Note: GMTG74's suggestion of the recently announced trademarked name] (i.e. All Terrain) models too. Chevy's off road (TrailBoss) should definitely target Ford (FX4, Raptor), Ram (Outdoorsman, Power Wagon), and Toyota (TRD) off-road packaged truck models. The Chevy High Country trucks should target the same models Ford (King Ranch), Ram (Long Horn), and Toyota (1794) offer. GMC can target similar models but be a bit more polished for the white collar-type worker. Just my opinion here.
