  1. CORRECTION: I was mistaken in my post above... upon re-checking the pictures in the link at the top, I noticed they sneaked in a crew cab interior (in addition to the extended cab one) that has a red exterior. The picture above shows that the rear quarter windows of the extended cab are not power-operated, but hinged like the current models. My bad!

  4. This will be a problem for NJ State Police, as well. If not for the entire NJ Police association. If I recall correctly, all police vehicles are approved by the state's police association. Chargers seem to be the hot ticket for local towns right now.
  5. I got a Hot Wheels-feel when viewing them, but can see Hyundai too now that you mentioned it
  6. I actually like those sketches... and prefer the taillight design of the sketch better than the Asian-automotive inspired rear end styling that the Cruze got. If there's one area of the Cruze I don't like, it's the rear end styling.
  7. I don't look at the front end styling as car-like, I look at it being softer (much how the '94 S-10 was when it debuted). This differentiates it from the full-size styling too - really, should it be a mini-Silverado? I like how it relates to the well-selling Chevy Equinox in the styling. Both are Chevy's smaller trucklets - why not have then share some styling attributes? The only downside I can see is if the Colorado-inspired TrailBlazer comes here, it may cause some confusion. But I believe Oldsmoboi has stated that the next Equinox & Terrain are going to shrink in size, which would allow a larger TrailBlazer to not steal sales away. Also, I'm more than positive that the American market will demand some meatier tires. If not, there's always a tire store ready to sell you bigger rims and tires! BTW, I can't wait to see the GMC version. I expect it to be truckier (boxier) in styling, a'la Terrain. I don't expect a mini-Silverado, but I do expect it to have different styling from the Colorado this go-around.
  8. I'm digging that center stack of this uplevel LTZ interior: This must be the basic (LS. LT) interior, since the center stack is different and the steering wheel does not have leather & buttons: Another thing to note, the red Colorado is an extended cab and a LTZ model. The red one also has the two-toned interior. Look at the first picture above - it suggests that the rear quarter windows are power operated (like the full-size trucks).
  9. I'm not disagreeing with either of you, but I still say that a show-version or pre-production truck will be shown in Chicago or New York to let the cat out of the bag. Then after that I can see the entire lineup debuting at the Texas State Fair.
  10. You're getting your wish, partially. When the new CARS Land opens in Disney California Adventures park this summer, one of the rides (through Radiator Springs) uses the test track system. So while you may not get the GM feel of the "Test Track" attraction, you will get a similar ride experience.
  11. Using the Volt tagline on the Tesla? Believe it or not, that came directly from Tesla's website: http://www.teslamotors.com/about Look under the bold text that starts out Every Tesla and EV...
  12. Volvo - committed to your safety for over 80 years. Come and check us out!
  13. Fisker: Electric Luxury and Performance - The Fisker Karma.
  14. Tesla: It's more than electric, it's Tesla.

  16. I'd so take that late '70s Cheyenne-10 in a heartbeat for $800. Too bad I'm on the wrong side of the country for that deal
  17. My suggestion for Buick: Get to know the next generation of Buick Vehicles. One look at the Buick Regal, LaCrosse, Enclave, or the new Verano and you'll quickly realize: this is the new side of luxury. Whatever you're looking for, the newest lineup of Buick luxury cars is a step above the rest.
  18. We already have one for GMC. I just need the ones from the list in the first post. Yes, however it can use some updating since it references a two-year old vehicle introduction:
  19. Not as crafty as Cort's Dodge submission, but here's a suggestion of mine for GMC: Never send a truck to do a Sierra’s job!! Check here for the latest information on General Motor’s “Professional Grade” trucks, crossovers and vans.
  20. I am a huge Disney Parks fan - My favorite attraction to visit at Epcot in WDW happens to coincide with my passion for all things General Motors - the GM Test Track (formerly GM's World of Motion pavilion). Mouseplanet's weekly WDW news update reports that the GM Test Track attraction is scheduled to be closed from April 15 through September 21, 2012 for an upgrade to include a name change -Test Track presented by Chevrolet: …Our friends over at TouringPlans.com are reporting that Test Track may close from April 15 through September 21, 2012 to get an upgrade and to also change the official sponsor from General Motors in general to GM's Chevrolet brand in particular. It's likely that the changes to some of the attraction's vehicles are a preview of some of the new look. We'll have more once this closure is confirmed. TouringPlans.com also reveals a possible logo change for the attraction, seen below. The ride will feature new vehicles designed by GM's own research and development team rather than Disney's Imagineering unit who previously did the cars. Essentially, the ride will be gutted to the point where only the track path and vehicle chassis remain with a new ride built on the skeleton. The theme is going to be highly futuristic to mesh with the rest of Epcot . So, what's your take on this news? Is it a good idea for GM to concentrate on only one of it's brands in such a widely seen place? Source: Mouse Planet, TouringPlans.com, epcyclopedia.com View full article

  22. Definitely either an owner-customized deal or a dealer-customized edition. I was (and still am) a huge fan of this generation of Olds Cutlass Supreme and don't recall such a car being offered by GM or H/O. Especially with a 3.1L V6 engine - when the 3.4L V6 was available!!
  23. H said he wanted a '68- not that common to find. I like the '68s- on the funky side. But I'd prefer the 1st gen, specifically '64, before they bloated up. I like the '62, '63, '68 & '69 GPs, however the '62 & '68 are my favorites from the '60s editions. Saw this beautiful '68 GP in November at the all-Pontiac show at ATCO Raceway: That was one sharp lookin' red too!
