  1. Be patient, maybe now is not the time to buy. Maybe the right product will show itself in the next month or two (especially with year-end clear-out sales, maybe those holding onto older trucks will buy something new and try to unload the older units).
  2. Is it the one in Gilbertsville? http://reading.craigslist.org/cto/3148515607.html Pretty nice looking from the pic, but we know how decieving that can be! Or this one? http://reading.craigslist.org/cto/3154846310.html

  4. Sorry to see this was a mis-adventure. And yes, I can understand about the price (I just immediately thought of you once I saw the manual trans). Good luck with the search...
  5. I would need to add in the chrome door handles and chrome mirror caps (factory accessories) in addition to a folding hard cover for the bed (and a bed mat to prevent scratches & sliding items) and I'd be set. 2012 I'd want it in Midnight Blue Metallic; 2013 I'd want it in Sonoma Red Metallic (since the dark blue is gone). I'd also look to add a Flowmaster exhaust, retaining the stock exhaust pipes, and add a chrome tip to it (again, GMC factory accessory).
  6. I've liked the look of the current GMT-900 Sierra 2WD's with a larger tire & rim set-up, and have been a big fan of the Sierra Denali's 20" 8-spoked chrome rim. While searching for the two pictures above, guess what I find? Very tempted to pass on a 4WD Sierra for something like that (of course that depends on what the new '14 Sierra looks like in 2WD with larger tires and rims).

  8. Well, we haven't heard from you so I'm assuming you're on your trip to buy the truck now. However, if it doesn't work out, the GMC dealer I pass on the way into work has a 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD SLE1 4WD with the 8.1L V8 and a Manual Trans with 54K miles for $17k: http://www.colemanbuickgmc.com/VehicleDetails/used-2006-GMC-Sierra_2500HD-4WD_Regular_Cab_Long_Box_SLE1-Lawrenceville-NJ/1802892013

  10. This 2009 Dodge Ram "Mr. Norms Red Express Truck" here has a 2" drop in the front and a 3" drop in the rear and looks "sporty":
  11. Oh, blue - my favorite! Can't wait to see pics of your new truck and read the story of your adventure
  12. I see it hasn't taken you long to find the new vehicle lot at your new job
  13. Nissan Juke (Joke).
  14. Saw "Dark Knight Rises" and loved it too. Saw "TED" and thought it was a hilarious movie (I'm a Seth McFarlane fan anyway). Looking forward to seeing "Total Recall" this weekend.
  15. Happy Birthday!!

  17. Yahoo has another article/feature stating the differences in this version from the 1990 version, saying that there's enough differentiation to not consider this a remake: http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/total-recall-2012/photos/five-film-facts-total-recall-slideshow/
  18. Video: "Total Recall" featurette: Hover Car - Watch how the producers of the upcoming remake of "Total Recall" choose not to use CGI to create the hover cars used in the film and the technology they employed to make these cars "real". Link: http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/total-recall-2012/trailers/total-recall-featurette-hover-car-30145564.html\ *I've got to say I'm excited to see this remake. I know a lot of people, myself included, complain that Hollywood recycles more than creates today, but I was a fan of the original 1990 movie though the special effects were definitly not up to par in that movie. From the trailers I've been interested in seeing this futuristic "car" chase scene and glad to know that CGI was not fully employed to capture this part. Interesting featurette, wacth it if you've got some time to kill
  19. I've seen the wide variety of Surf City cleaning products at both Pep Boys and Advance Auto Parts stores and wondered how well they worked. This year I purchased a lot of new Meguiar's products to use, so I will not be needing anything for a while. But maybe if more people post their experiences with Surf City products here I'll switch over to them. Thanks for the info, Dodgefan!
  20. This one is posted from June 25, but if still available might be one for you to check out: http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/ctd/3044718186.html

  22. I did some dealership hopping yesterday.... 2012 GMC Canyon Crew Cab SLE-2 4WD "Off Road" (still catches my eye, but no way can I bite on this): 2013 Ford Police Interceptor (Explorer): 2013 Ford Police Interceptor (Taurus): 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab LT 4WD Z-71 (went to see what the new pricing of the total confidence package was on a Silverado): On the Chevy used lot - 1990 Chevrolet C1500 Scottsdale 2WD (167k miles, 4.3L V6, Auto, Bench Seat, $5,500): At the back of the Chevy dealer body shop - 1990s? Hummer 2-door Pickup (my favorite of the full-size civilian Hummers):
