  1. How about this: 1995 Chevrolet 3500 4x4 Dump with Plow: http://www.burlingtonchevy.com/1995-Chevrolet-K3500-Chassis-Burlington-NJ/vd/10669300
  2. It now seems that 2013 will be a full-year of GMT-900 production, with some new delays for the all-new '14 models announced on another forum. So you've got time to work out what you want on a new '13. Or you've got more time to wait for a new '14 I say go for it. You miss your Sierra - it was a very sharp truck, I might add - and gas is gas. If I was a single man today I sure would be cruising around in a regular cab GMC Sierra myself
  3. Tell us more about this car, please! Oh, and:
  4. Oh, I know there's ways to obtain the look after-the-fact, but I do like a factory made product better. The main issue is that I don't think I could choose another truck outside of a GMC Sierra!! I like how Ram lets you get features on the regular cab trucks that you can on the extended and crew cab models - such as turn signla mirrors, bucket seats with console shifter, navigation/touch screen radio, larger rims and tires, and special packages (such as the Outdoorsman, which was offered on any cab [well, until '13 rolls around]). GM treats the Regular Cab pickups as the bottom-barrell models, and limits what you can option. This wasn't always the way, but it has gotten much worse with each new generation. Hopefully with the all-new '14 models GM will open up the options list to all cab models and take a page from Ram's playbook.
  5. Totally not a GM product, but I'm enamored with this truck: I love the two-tone of the RAM 1500 Outdoorsman Package, and would love to find one in the dark Cherry Red they offer. Too bad this package will not be available on the Regular Cab models in 2013 (I guess sales are too low to continue to offer it on this cab configuration).
  6. Wow... that was a great read! Thanks for posting
  7. Though I will admit a new '12 GMC Sierra 2500HD pickup in Wheatland Yellow, nicknamed "Tonka", would be one helluva cool ride for me:
  8. Your wish has come true... So, what school district do you drive for?
  9. Yeah dfelt, those are the new Buick LaCrosse commericals featuring Shaq. I think they're hilarious in the fact that he looks very uncomfortable in there (at least to me). He just doesn't "fit" in there, unlike what the commerical is trying to sell you on (how big of a car it is).
  10. I grew up with a lot of Chevy, GMC and Ford full-size pickups from the '70s and '80s in my neighborhood, amongst some family members too. My brother-in-law used to own a landscaping company back in '89-'93. He had a fleet of two Chevy's, I remember one was a brown '79 Custom 10 and the other was a blue '85 maybe? He of course sold them with the rest of the equipment to someone that took over the landscaping business from him. I have fond memories of that '79 when I worked with him in the summer of '89 and '90. I'd like to get me a '73-'87 (minus the '80-'82 models) GMC Sierra Classic or even a Chevy Silverado. I look all the time but the prices are starting to get higher (when I should have bought one back in the mid-to-late '90s when they were cheaper then now!).
  11. for a very , Ninety-Eight Regency!!
  12. Big guys in little cars is just WRONG! in my book. I will never understand it. Yes - I agree 100%!! Here's another one to prove this point:
  13. I've really been into the '73-'79 GMC Sierra pickups the last two years, even to the point I'm window shopping more of them than the '55-'57 GMCs I so desire. Here's an interesting color combo I haven't seen in my spottings: Here's the link with 11 more pictures (no interior shots though). Wish I had $10k available and the means to get this back to the east coast LINK: http://www.autoshopper.com/used-trucks/1979_GMC_Sierra_Classic_Bellevue_WA-21548430.htm
  14. for a very !!
  15. Can't wait to see the XTS limo in service. I work outside of Princeton, NJ and there is a large limo service nearby (A1 Limousine) that has always used silver Cadillacs as their limos (when I got married we used their 2000 DTS stretch models). As far back as I can remember, they had the Cadillac Broughams ('90-'92, my cousin used them for her senior prom in '91), then Fleetwood Broughams ('93-'96), Deville's ('97-'99), and DTS's ('00-current). They have Caddy sedans, limos and stretch limos in addition to non-Caddy party buses and vans. They still have new-ish DTS models in service (my company uses them a lot) but I can't wait to see their fleet turnover to the new XTS model soon!
  16. Limo undergoing testing: Limo uncovered:

  18. I voted for the Bonneville SSE... I still think it has a timeless design.
  19. Does the "Total Confidence" price factor in all eligible incentives (current rebate, college grad rebate, loyalty rebate, etc.)? How does this pricing strategy work?
  20. Very nice!!! Are you giving us a hint?
  21. Preisthood of Vintage Trucks? Sounds like a great religion to me I hav some very vivid dreams, but yours take the cake!!
