As for the grille, I think I'm seeing more of this... (Terradyne) than this... (Graphyte) Plus, you can see the round foglights at the corners of the front bumper... again, more Terradyne-like if you ask me.

Well, I like my '05 GMC Envoy much better than the '03 Buick Rendezvous my wife picked out last time. It would be really hard for me to give up on the truck platform for another car/minivan-based crossover platform. I love how the Envoy rides, handles and performs much better over the Rendezvous. There would have to be some serious work done to the Lambda platform to make me want to switch out of my Envoy/BOF platform. It's sad to hear now that there might not be another new Envoy in the future. I've been so happy with the 2005 model, I couldn't imagine not having another new one to replace it when this lease ends. I agree that GMC & Chevy should be the only ones to retain the GMT-360s... but I can also understand the fact that the upcoming Lambda's and the new GMT-900's may be the final nails in the coffin for the GMT-360 SUVs.

Thanks for the info so far... Anyone know of a Reatta Forum? I've searched using Google, but I didn't find anything. I know one exists, b/c there's a seller on eBay (repairs digital dashes) that mentions it in his ads (but no link or web site address given). Let me tell you all why I'm asking... with the newborn, it doesn't look like a 2007 Saturn SKY is in the picture (day care costs are phenomenal!). I still want a "toy" and I've always liked the Buick Reatta (is it just me, or does the SKY seem like a modern day version of the Reatta convertible???). I've found a '90 Reatta coupe for sale about an hour away from me and I'm looking into it (part of me still says to hold out til next Spring and see if a SKY is economically feasible, the other part says why wait for the bad news?/take what I can get now"). So I'm not completely sold on the Reatta yet, but figure I might want to get as much info as I can just in case. Thanks for helping out!

Being a leasee of a 2005 GMC Envoy, I'd say I'm definitely interested in seeing some pictures of the new GMT-360s! http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons//AH-HA_wink.gif

Anyone with info to share on the 1990 & 1991 Buick Reatta (coupe or convertible, it doesn't matter)? Of course I know that you should stay away from the '88 & '89 models with the touch screen radio & hvac controls (this option disappeared for the '90 model year). I'm looking for whatever info you can provide. TIA!!!

Yeah AM6, I forgot about them (Kohl's) too. They carry both Hallmark and Carlton Cards ornaments (there's a cool Hummer H2 ornament out this year) and discount them too after Christmas day.

Okay... here was one of my favorite '97-'03 Grand Prix models that was never produced: This was either a '99 or '00 model. I remember it coming out when I was working for a Pontiac dealership. The wife had leased a 2000 Grand Prix GT sedan in the dark blue. I really enjoyed that car for the 2 1/2 years we had it (early pull-ahead, she got the Rendezvous next). I was severly disappointed when the 2004's came out. I test drove one and liked the new power, ride and handling features - but the overall cheapness of the interior, the front seats, and the poor exterior styling turned me completely off. I hope the next GP (or is it G8???) makes a splash in the looks department!

His next film is all about the profiteering of the pharmecutical industry. I've known this for the last year or so. My wife works for a pharmecutical company and last summer they had a voice-mail or e-mail message from the PR director to not allow Michael Moore into the building, talk to him in person in the parking lot, nor answer questions over the phone. He was in the Princeton (NJ) area last summer/fall trying to make portions of his film.

I always assumed that the RECON would have been the Oldsmobile version of the Buick Rendezvous.

Go on December 26th - ALL Hallmark ornaments are 50% off the day after Christmas. I buy what I know won't last until Christmas, but other stuff I take the risk and wait until Dec 26th and go out to Hallmark stores EARLY for the bargain. Almost always will you find one store that will have the Silverado SS at 50% off. But the key is to go early and bring cash (some Hallmark stores only accept cash on the half-off ornaments).

This has been mentioned many times before... so much that I'd love to see the GM photography on what the real Aurora was to lool like. Anyone have that kind of access?

Yes, this was a well written article that would definitely make me want to consider a Canyon if I was small-truck shopping. Of course I really, really, really like the Canyon. However, I think the top-of-the-line SLE/SLT models interior sucks. The so-called titanium trim is really plastic that is painted and looks very cheap (at least in my '04 Malibu the trim looks close to being the real deal). I'm use to having steering wheel buttons for upgraded DIC's and radio controls - of course the loaded $33K Canyon doesn't offer this feature! Too bad the Canyon wasn't planned from the beginning so that GMC could have made some differences over the Colorado. IMHO, The Canyon and the Savanna are the cheapest looking "Professional Grade" GMC's on sale.

Personally, this is what I would like to see produced:

You had me really excited at first HarleyEarl, but of course I already own those two items and visit that site regualrly!!!

Here's some pic's: Thanks to web site. Actually, I preferred the International Series Olds Cutlass Calais more:

A driver for the local "Papa John's" pizza place uses his '91 or '92 Olds Custom Cruiser wagon as a delivery vehicle. It needs some body work, but it seems to drive around just fine. I really liked the Olds version of the B-body wagons the best. If I found one in really good shape, I'd like to buy it. At least it's big enough - the wife would make me live in it!!!

The town I grew up in had an Olds/Jeep/Subaru dealer that is now Kia/Jeep/Subaru. They still have the same go-kart parked in their Service Dept (well, about this time last year they did). They used it during the '90s as a parade vehicle in several local towns parades. A kid I went to school with - his father worked in the Service Dept and his son and then later daughter drove it in the parades. Too bad I didn't fnd out about this auction earlier- Allentown, PA is about an hours drive away from me.

Is a Canyon refresh coming anytime soon???
GMTruckGuy74 replied to GMTruckGuy74's topic in GMC Trucks
Josh, AH-HA, evok, et al... any insight for us Canyon & Colorado fans about upcoming changes for 2007+??? While I know I'd get raped at the dealership if I attempted to trade in my '04 Malibu for a new '06 Canyon soon, finding out that exterior, interior and drivetrain upgrades/updates were coming for 2007 would help me to wait an extra year. -
It's exterior design is basically going to be borrowed from the Jeep Gladiator pickup. Look at the two pictures in the link - the front bumper section, wheel arches/flares, and windshield look the same as on the Gladiator. I too can't wait to see the new TK Wrangler!
-
Wow! I'm impressed with the exterior and interior design. Now when can I expect to see the GMC Yukon???
-
Well, I'm a GMC man myself, so that's not even a question I'm worried about. But if it didn't matter, the 2003 Silverado refresh would have definitely pushed me over to the GMC Sierra!!! :P

Good? It's GREAT!!! I like it very much. I think I'd rather use it for my avatar, if you think it's possible (plus, it's better suited for this site than a pic of Homer). P.S. - VarianceJ30, I figured out how to add it to my avatar settings. I'm very much appreciative of your efforts. Thanks a bunch!

About a year or so ago I admitted my love (still, after 30 years) for TONKA trucks and told everyone here about Tonka's newest product line - Tonka TOUGHEST Mighty Dump Truck --> Well, to top that, now you may have the opportunity to see this truck in real life: (this pic gives you an idea of how big the real truck is compared to the toy!) Visit Tonka Truck Tour to learn more about this truck, watch a video of how this real, driveable truck was brought to life, and see if it's coming to a Wal-Mart location near you (I may be "sick" one day this week to drive to a location near me!!).

How about a two-toned light purple (upper) & silver (lower) late '90s Sunfire GTO?!?! Well, at least that's what the little stickers said right behind the doors in front of the rear wheels! Another attempt to make something seem like it's better than what it really is...

Wow! Cool ideas so far. "74" relates to 1974, but not b/c of any GMC model - it was the year I was born in!!! Anyway a Macromedia Flash movie can be used? GMC Canada's web site has a cool little Flash movie that I think is great. Here's the link: GMC Canada Keep them coming... I want to see what you talented people can do! :)
