  1. I agree with Titan. I like the LaCrosse a lot, wouldn't mind owning one. While the frontend has grown on me a little more since the car's introduction, I'd still prefer a better, eye-catching design.
  2. Not true. Camaro's and Firebirds were both available in 1967 (Camaro was first to the market, Firebird mid-'67). The Trans Am model didn't appear until 1969, at which point it was just an added package to a Firebird (became its own model in 1970 1/2).
  3. I guess this is what my '04 Malibu might look like if it were in an accident: And my '05 Envoy:
  4. And I thought I was the only person to still watch TRON!!! :P :D
  5. Here's a link to a picture posted over at the Sky Roadster forums. They're questioning if this is the optional rear spoiler that will be available on the 2007 SKY: click Anyone here know if that's the official spoiler option? I think it's the one for the Redline version (notice the dual exhaust outlets).
  6. AH-HA, since the Holden Rodeo's frontend design is similar to the new '07 Yukon frontend, are we looking at what will be the "new" face of the Canyon for 2007? With a new V6 engine to boot???
  7. Umm, 68 - you now have to change the title to include "My first post of 2006"!!!   :P
  8. Yeah, that's the result of a stroke. He was not on last year, due to the fact he COULD NOT talk at all (he had to relearn his speech process all over again). His motivation was to return to do the show this year. While sad & depressing (my wife had a hard time watching the show when he talked, as it made her depressed), it is a miracle that he rebounded in such a short time and be able to go live on TV. Hopefully he will only get better over time, but this may be one of his last New Year's Eve shows. :(
  9. I've always heard it pronounced Cal-Lay!!!
  10. I'm curious as to what benefit(s) the G80 Limited Slip Rear Differential would provide me on my Saturn SKY. The SKY will be a 3rd vehicle in my household and will only be used on nice sunny days (no rain unless I get caught in an unexpected storm and definitely NO snow). Should I include it when I option my image when at the dealership, or should I save myself some $$$? (anyone know the cost, presumably on the Solstice?) EDIT: $195 (Solstice), per GMBuyPower.com (is it worth the $195)???
  11. Fly, don't be jealous... I not only bid on this beauty, I won it too! Hahahaha! :P I know this has nothing to do with the Club de Mer, but I'm happy I have a new GMC/Saturn truck to add to my collection.
  12. Oops, forgot about that one. HW's hasn't used that one recently, have they? I haven't seen them anywhere. Well, I'll be happy with the Apache or the Flashsider, just leave the LaTroca out of it!!!
  13. Nice looking Av... exactly what are those holes in the rear bumper for??? Are they from the factory, or are they an after-market piece to replace the factory rear cladding pieces? Can't say that I've ever seen them before. Oh, and I like the rear spoiler. While I like the cladded Av's, I think if I were to purchase one, I'd go for the non-cladded version. Anyway, cool truck :D
  14. I agree with you SoCalCTS. I am interested only in the automatic, so seeing a picture of this car with it relieves me a little knowing GM is building test cars with them. As far as the colors go... I wanted Bluestone until I saw a picture of that car. I never wanted yellow - on the calendar the yellow looked to be a pastel color; color code is the same one as on the Cobalt, and it shows here - still don't like it :P I now want the Dark Blue (code #25) as pictured in HarleyEarl's post; it was color choice #2 behind Bluestone, but I don't like that color anymore. I saw the Forest Green on a SKY back in November - not crazy about that color either. And while I like the darker silver (gray?) GM is currently using, I'm not sure if I want a sports car like the SKY in that color.
  15. Hmm, now whcih one will Hot Wheels use??? 1958 Chevy Apache or 1950's Advance Design: I'm hoping it the first one!!! :P
  16. usonia, that's just about how my friends described their visit. They said once was good enough for them. :P
  17. I really like the rearend design of the new DTS. Doesn't it seem like these pics were the inspiration for the new DTS rear?
  18. Just curious to hear from someone that owns an HHR, or knows someone that owns one. Looking for some insight, feedback, etc.
  19. I knew the answer was going to be Daytona Blue from the moment I answered the question about my favorite t-shirt color. If I would have chosen the Safety Orange t-shirt color, what do you think my odds are that ORANGE would have been my color choice?
  20. A poster over at Sky Roadster Forums has found a YELLOW SKY, with an Automatic Transmission, sitting pretty in someone's driveway over in Michigan. Click on the link to see it for yourself: http://www.putfile.com/tommyo_58]putfile.com - Yellow SKY pictures[/URL] While the yellow is not my cup of tea, the automatic transmission is definitely on my list. Enjoy :CG_all:
  21. Just bought the SS Concept/Cheyenne, Solstice/Sixteen and Hummer H3T/H2 two=packs today at Wal-mart. Not too shabby looking for the price!
  22. Check my signature picture for the two I vote for! :P
  23. B.S. in Secondary Education with a double major in Comprehensive Business Education (yada yada yada --> all it means is I'm a high school business <Marketing> teacher). Received my degree from Rider University in December of 1997; was a commuter student too
  24. I wouldn't drink anything... no bathrooms to use (I guess unless you're a patron of a place that has bathrooms to use - but don't count on any). Be prepared to stand for a long time. I hear that the NYPD make sure it's kept orderly and the place clears out pretty quickly after the ball drops. Be careful; watch your wallet and any other valuables (you'll be rubbing up against people all night). Watch the weather and dress accordingly. And for the record, no I've never been there myself - not crazy enough I guess. Several friends went without me about 8-10 years ago and I've kept their advice, just in case I do go crazy enough and decide to finally go myself. Though this year with Chevy/GM doing what they are, I'd like to go :P
  25. Geez, when I first read this news about 3 hours ago, I was really excited thinking that the H3T pickup was finally coming out. Now with both of those statements, I've already lost interest in being up until midnight
