Link to Edmunds Inside Line article with video: http://blogs.insideline.com/straightline/2011/08/black-air-the-buick-grand-national-documentary.html Pretty cool! I too am an admirer of the Buick Grand National and GNX, so I can't wait for this production to come out. I went on Facebook and liked it to stay up-to-date with news until it's released.

I could see these in Home Depot and Lowe's parking lots for rent to the DIYers.... But as a truck guy, I could never own one of these for personal use like people do with the Ranger...

Oh yes, I'm serious that I WANT it, as it's in my favorite color (dark red with the gray lower) and I love these B-bodies the most (with the 2nd being the '93-'96 Fleetwood Brougham and 3rd place being the '91/'92 Caprice Classic & LTZ). However, I have only a tad bit more than half of the amount he's asking (though he did say best offer)..., and I would need to find a way to get this thing to NJ (which costs $$$ too). This would be a great car cruising Olds Custom Cruiser

'97-'04 Buick Regal Chrome Rims
GMTruckGuy74 replied to GMTruckGuy74's topic in Product Questions and Reviews
Thanks for the confirmation. They would look really nice on that Bordeaux Red Regal LS of his -
Okay, here you go: That is a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab 4WD SLT White Diamond Edition (sans your Chevy chrome mesh grille), that would be equivalant to the 2012 Silverado LTZ White Diamond Edition. Happy now?

http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/pts/2539984957.html My step-son's Regal: These look exactly like the set of aluminum rims that are on my step-son's '98 Regal LS... does anyone know if they are a match? I emailed the seller and he still has them - quite the bargain for $150 OBO

Okay, who's in or near Youngstown to check out this car? I WANT this Cruiser!!

Why wait for 2012?

I too love the color (blue is my favorite!). Best of luck with the new Chevrolet Cruze, and many happy motoring miles

A few pictures I took while on duty yesterday: Tree fell over onto wires (water soaked, roots and all exposed): Tree swaying back-and-forth grounding out the wire until the trunk snapped and was just laying there:

We made it through unscathed, but living in a new-ish townhouse community with no large trees, I wasn't expecting anything. Major flooding in Mount Holly and Medford townships, a lot of localized flooding surrounding my community as there are a lot of farmlands, sod farms, and former farms that are road-level and water spilled over. We lost power yesterday from 5:30PM-midnight, have been good all day today (working from home as I heard reports that the NB (& SB) ramps from I-295 to Route 1 are closed as the highway is flooded over, and one coworker IM'ed me to say his normal 25 minute commute was an hour & 45 mins due to detours & road closings). I spent 10 hours with the fire department yesterday blocking off roads due to fallen trees & wires, plus traffic control as traffic lights went out throughout the day.

Really? Then you've never seen or been close enough to a current SRX or Escalade. REBADGED? You need a dictionary my friend to look up the definition. The Canyon and Savana could be called rebadges (or the Colorado and Express, if you're a GMC fan )... but not the SRX or Escalade... don't be a drama queen.

Oh great, now when people see these GMC's at shows they'll be known as the truck from that slasher film Pretty cool that they found and are using a '59 GMC Panel Truck for a current movie.

This is the South American version (crew cab), the one shown in Argentina.

I thought of your family when I heard the news earlier tonight... hoping they are still well, and their property escaped harm.

Southern NJ (Burlington County) is no picnic either... I have my fire dept scanner on and structural collapses, wires down, blown transformers, EMT calls on the NJ Turnpike (rest stop), dwelling fires, road hazards & MVAs - pretty busy night for the 44+ Burlington County fire departments. 10:00 AM Sunday morning can't come fast enough! Planning to head over to the fire station in the AM... it's well-staffed for the night, almost no parking spots left in the lot. Wife wants me home for tonight "just in case", and I know if something bad happens the little guy would not be a happy camper without me being home. Wind gusts outside my townhome are bad, back of house is being pelted by rain... oh Irene, why did you have to come this way??
-
Looks promising, however I'm getting a Toyota-vibe from the rear taillight design (a'la Tundra?). Can't wait to see a GMC Canyon version
-
Looking at the pics, it looks like the metal from the B-pillar forward is shared w/ the Astra wagon... I LOVE the Astra wagon, wish it would come here as an addition to the Bucik Verano line-up.
-
I agree with you, Croc. I love the rear too and the "angry chrome eyebrows", sets the Verano apart from other small cars and makes it instantly recognizible as the Buick.
-
Can't wait to see pictures!
-
Oh go take your TinIndian out for a ride out in the desert then
-
I know of a great place in southern NJ if you feel up to the drive, and it isn't a long process (the place I had the G6's windows done at). Well known and reputable place - South Jersey Window Tinting. Plus it's affordable!!
-
Oh hell NO! If they bring that here as a branded RAM vehicle, and it sells well, GM will bring the hideous Chevrolet Montana from South America as a competitor and that will spell the end of the Ute ever making its presence here. I still think Dodge/RAM should seriously reconsider the Dodge M80 concept pickup: I still like that a lot, all these years later...
