Link: http://southjersey.craigslist.org/ctd/2542883843.html (many more pics of this beautiful rig at the link above) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I've always been a big fan of the 1989 to 1991 Chevrolet/GMC Suburban and Chevrolet Blazer/GMC Jimmy full-size SUVs. When I was between 15 and 23 years of age, I really, really wanted to own a new full-size SUV - especially the GMC Suburban - of course these were all way out of my affordable price range at that time. If I had the cash available now, that two-tone blue Suburban above would be gracing my driveway

Thank you for thinking of me, and I did see this a day or two before you posted it. I agree with the comments above; however, I'm about $1,500 short plus the required NJ sales tax & MVC fees (title, registration, plates).

Thank you all for your kind words and well-wishes. What hurt the most was that this was totally unexpected and unforseen. He's always been in good health, compared to our other dog, and for that reason I figured he would survive longer. I'm starting to feel better today.

Hello my friends. I am besides myself at this time, finding it hard to sleep. I know tomorrow will not be any better, and I would like to share with you the reason why I feel this way tonight. One of our two family dogs (both Lhasa Apso's, Benji [11 years old] and Snickers [8 years old]) over the weekend suddenly became ill - the younger dog, Snickers. He has always been in good health, but this weekend he was showing signs of distress. An appointment with the vet tonight did not bring good news. The vet listened to his lungs and verified that he was having major breathing issues. An x-ray showed his lungs were enlarged due to advanced cancer and the only humane option was to ease his pain by euthanizing him. This caught us off guard and totally blindsided us. He's been a part of our family since he was a little puppy (born February, 2003, we brought him home in April) and he was a well-mannered & well-behaved little dog. This is the first time in my life I had to make this type of decision and in the end say goodbye to a loving and loyal furry member of my family so suddenly. It was heartbreaking to see the tears in my 6 year-old son eyes as he learned "Snicky" was not coming home with us ever again. I appreciate the thoughtfulness you've shown me in the past and I consider all you to be part of my extended "family".

While doing some CL cruising today, found this '92 Custom Cruiser mistitled as a Buick wagon: http://southjersey.craigslist.org/cto/2549532668.html I may be tempted to go see it. Blackviper, any decision on that blue one for $900?

+1 AGREE.

Link: http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/2534482998.html Something about this car has caught my eye... maybe it's the fact these cars don't exist anywhere anymore... sure, from time to time I'll see a similar vintage Bonneville or Parisenne, but I can't ever recall seeing a Catalina.

Yeah, but for ocnblu it's always about the "package" deal

All Wawa's in NJ closed Saturday night (I think at 8:00 PM), mandated by the company. However, when they re-opened on Sunday, boy were people happy to be able to get their coffee again! The one street my fellow fire police officer and I had to close off was close enough to the local Wawa that when everyone lost power, they all headed over for a cup of coffee to wait for PSE&G to arrive to restore the power.

Ok, let's compromise then... you take Cremazie, I'll take the Silverado 2500 HD - BAM! We're both satisfied

How Much For That Buick Verano In The Window?
GMTruckGuy74 replied to William Maley's topic in Buick
This is why I'm interested in the Buick Verano. I prefer a larger vehicle, but at the same time it's just the wife and I commuting together to work approximately 68 miles Mon-Fri (roundtrip). A smaller, fuel efficient commuter car with luxury appointments could be the ticket, assuming I can get over my dislike of 4 cylinder engines. -
How Much For That Buick Verano In The Window?
GMTruckGuy74 replied to William Maley's topic in Buick
Good news, indeed. At some point in 2012 we're going to compare the Verano and LaCrosse (I like the Verano, the wife loves the LaCrosse), and maybe one will end up in the driveway as the G6's replacement -
Absolutely one B-E-A-UTIFUL rig you've got there, Cremazie! The 2500 and 3500 HD Silverado's are my favorite (not that there's anything wrong with the 1500, but the HD's just got that little bit extra style that the smaller 1500 don't have). I love the color - was just drooling Sunday at a nearby Chevy dealer's 2011 Regular Cab, Standard Bed, LT-equipped 4WD 1500 in that same color (wish I could afford my toy now). Best of luck with it and many happy motoring miles!

Change of subject - did you ever sell your Suburban?

Thanks for posting these pictures of your latest finds. I do like that Pontiac Firebird, will have to keep my eyes open for that one in my travels to the stores. That five pack is awesome, as I got to have that purple Ute (and I believe that is a five-pack exclusive, and won't be offered in the single packs). At least with that pack I'd get to keep 3 of the cars for myself - the Ute, the CTS wagon, and the Fisker - the other two can go to my son (I usually buy a 5-pack and keep the one vehicle I want and he gets the other 4 )

3M Headlight Restoration
GMTruckGuy74 replied to Intrepidation's topic in Product Questions and Reviews
Just a follow-up... Took advantage of a lazy Labor Day off and among other little around the house projects, I used the Meguiar's HD Headlight Restoration Kit on my step-son's '98 Regal LS. After removing the headlights out of the car and replacing the two DRL/turn signal bulbs (one was dim compared to the other, replaced both since the package came with two), I restored the headlights. Here are some pictures, for your enjoyment: PASSENGER - BEFORE: PASSENGER - AFTER: COMPARISON - PASSENGER HEADLIGHT 'RESTORED', DRIVER HEADLIGHT NOT: Very satisfied with the kit, easy to use and the results are much better than I expected. Did notice as I removed the headlight units that the rubber gasket sealing the lights is dry-rotted and as such there is some interior damage (cloudiness) that can't be repaired. As I plan to hit some junkyards in the fall, I'll keep an eye out for Centurys and Regals and look for better condition lights to buy & swap out. -
And now for something completely different…

Congratulations on your new lease on life, Chris. Best of luck to you as you go through the schooling, the tests, and eventually the reward for your time and efforts. -
for a very Z-06!!

Me too! This story reminds me of the one about the AMC dealership that was posted around 2 years ago. I wonder how many more are out there? I'd love to stumble upon one some day (in NJ, real estate is worth too much for old building left to sit, they're usually torn down and the property is sold off for another CVS/WalGreens/Starbucks/Wawa etc).
