  1. Quality preflight instructions. http://www.jibjab.com/view/208148
  2. I understand but not sure if that will help. That particular niche has been explored by DCX for instance, when they were together. The next stand out that will separate and generate sales appears to be alternative fuels, not drive wheels. Other than that it's gadgets and gizmos. Just my humble opinion.
  3. It's amazing what you find works and doesn't after trial and error. Why does the Z06 use leaf spring suspension and still kick ass even if some put their nose up to it? Sometimes what's old is new again.
  4. If this was prius tech it wouldn't be a big deal. This has the potential to be something else. What alternatives have Toyota or anyone else introduced since? Maybe Ethanol or hydrogen? Who leads in those departments? What else matter when running a global corporation? Is this something anyone can pick up from nowhere? That's a lot of questions and you're full of $h! it you tell me you have all the answers. :AH-HA_wink:
  5. You're missing the bigger picture.
  6. The Chevy smallblock is an engine of a lifetime. Amazing what they have been able to achieve since inception.
  7. The inmates shouldn't run the asylum. As nice as a RWD Impala sounds I don't want to be the one hammering the nails. How many loyal Camry or Accord customers pine for RWD.
  8. Time to swim or float.
  9. With the new CTS on sale I thought it would be interesting to see how the competition is doing. Because of its placement it's hard to gauge the closer rival but where it is slotted I'd think it is more likelt the 5 series. http://www.autospectator.com/cars/bmw-corp...mber-2007-sales Sales BMW of North America, LLC, January through November 2007 YTD YTD Nov 07 Nov 06 % Nov 07 Nov06 % 3 Series 11,579 10,114 14.5% 129,549 107,016 21.1% Z4 Roadster and Coupe 665 774 -14.1% 9,068 10,820 -16.2% 5 Series 4,617 5,954 -22.5% 47,455 49,296 -3.7% 7 Series 1,056 1,209 -12.7% 13,267 16,222 -18.2% 6/8 Series 710 766 -7.3% 8,132 8,454 -3.8% BMW passenger c 18,627 18,817 -1.0% 207,471 191,808 8.2% X3 1,975 2,336 -15.5% 25,864 27,485 -5.9% X5 3,206 1,449 121.3% 30,261 24,194 25.1% BMW light trucks 5,181 3,785 36.9% 56,125 51,679 8.6% BMW brand 23,808 22,602 5.3% 263,596 243,487 8.3% Cooper 1,222 1,319 -7.4% 15,058 12,316 22.3% Cooper S 1,490 1,471 1.3% 16,154 14,720 9.7% Conv (Cooper, Cooper S) 465 497 -6.4% 7,271 9,663 -24.8% MINI brand 3,177 3,287 -3.3% 38,483 36,699 4.9% TOTAL BMW of North America, LLC 26,985 25,889 4.2% 302,079 280,186 7.8% Source: BMW of North America, LLC
  10. Are you a dog person? Rottys and Pit Bulls make excellent pets. Theyll also take care of the place while you're out.
  11. I didn't think the review was that bad. Every car has pros and cons or plusses and minuses. That's what a review is. Besides all the semantics of this the consumer is the ultimately the judge and when they see the car in person they will decide if this is the right car for them and if maybe just maybe this guy is full of $h!. I can't believe a cars success or failure is intricately linked to a certain publication and considering the overwhelming positive reviews this one should not matter. I'd rather not waste my time trying to prove a negative so take it at face value.
  12. Those shots of the Malibu look spectacular! Good eye Ocnblu. Nice job.
  13. Chopping Contest?
  14. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1029Zm9j_hM
  15. Call it The Hemi 'Cuda.
  16. The Cobalt looks good as a Pontiac.
  17. On the surface they look good (to some) but when you test them that's a different story. We'll see what comes of this but I tell you what, when it comes to trucks I'll look to the tried and true. How many times has Toyota presented a full size pick up that did not measure up?
  18. It's rarely used innocently but that's moot. Offensiveness is subjective.
  19. A conestoga wagon? I would like to own that horse. What a shame about George Washington. Besides your well being, in a worst case scenario what would an Avalanche going 100+ do to the people riding in a Cobalt or Corolla? Thanks for sharing.
  20. Consumer Reports doesn't need to test or conduct research rather echo what the people tell them. As soon as opinion shifts so do they. It's hardly scientific and they will not endorse what their readers tell them not to endorse. They just sell magazines books and yearly subscriptions and hope their flawed methodology doesn't come back to bite them in the butt one day.
  21. Compared to what happened to American citizens by the Japanese, much less military, they got off easy. You may be surprsed to learn how vicious war really is when it's not sanitized or summarized to fit in the pages of a history book.
  22. I can't wait to the L.A. Auto Show when the production FCX is unveiled. This is great news and is nice to see GM may be in the loop with these next gen vehicles. You know, the ones that actually may mean something. I also look forward to the hybrid 900's coming soon from GM.
  23. Clearly this man ran out of maple syrup, don't let it get to you. The Amero?
  24. Built Toyota Tough! That new Chevy commercial that chronicles the Silverado's history means so much more after reading this.
