    I Love The 80s...

You are right about 70's cars. I cant take that car anywhere without getting a complement on it so I dont understand what the big deal is about 73 and later cars, I like them. Mines got a 454 so it moves out real well too. I will try to post a pic in the members garage section keep an eye out for it.
  2. New GT 500 Convert at my local ford dealer this morning which also just became a Saleen dealer as well.

Any G-body ads? You have a b-body ad there the Two door door Caprice. That is the best car there. I have a really nice 1980 Eldorado AD but I dont have a scanner. As a matter of fact I have lots of ads like that. The best place to get them cheap or free is if you find a bunch of old National Geographics there is always lots in there.
  5. Saw a grey Saturn Aura and a new GT 500 yesterday (sept 1)
  6. Yeah MPH thats what it was . Too bad it not around anymore.
  7. What happened to RPM Magazine ? I cant seem to find it anymore on the newsstand it was pretty good too funny and almost honest about the stuff they tested. Anybody know ?
  8. Not to butt in but if it broke you would definately know . It obviously dosent break or puncture like a tire. When it breaks, it breaks there is a mess and you know it.
  9. I dont want to butt in. but I think that alot of people feel this way these days with all the crap going on in the world and bad news you really need your friends and family around it helps alot. I try to make a point to call or email or at least send regards to all my family here and in Europe at least a few times a year it helps alot. As far as childhood goes it makes me feel terrible when you see something go away that was there forever and holds a lot of fond memories. Something as simple as a store closing or a neighborhood changing for the worst or just changing in general. Keep the faith guys.
  10. I just bought a 97 SSEI from a friend and I am waiting for him to get the title so we can close the deal. Its pretty nice car and I think has every available option that year along with a new tranny. I will post a pic when I get it . should be in about a week.
  11. Saw one yesterday at my local Pontiac dealer in silver.
  12. I remember seeing all those weird cars in Hot Rod years ago in the ads in the back. i didnt like them then and I still dont . I have a friend that had a Kelmark (I think thats what its called) with a VW motor in it. He said girls loved it in High school.

    07 monte

I read in Motor Trend that the Monte was going to have e85 capability (its in the special advertising section) . Maybe thats why the 3.9 was deleted so that it can be brought back with some changes. In any case I wish that someday I will open this site and find a new beautiful 09 or 10 Monte on the first page. A car I would be happy to park next to either of my 2nd gen Montes.
  14. Any of you guys ever see Hollywood nights . No chase scene but its a pretty funny car movie. With a lot of nice stuff in it. A good chase movie is the original Cannonball (not cannonball run) with David Carridene driving a red 72 Trans-Am lots of crashes and crazy stuff in there.
  15. The Stewart ones are funny . I would like to smack stewart in the mouth.

    ...

I told some dingbat in the Buick display at the 2005 NYIAS that the car should have the V8 . Maybe she went and told someone at GM . It is a much better value for the money with a V8. All new Buicks should have a V8 option.
  17. Any of you guys hear Mattell was going to sell off the Hot Wheels brand ? Some guy told me at a show that they weren't making any money with it . He said he heard they were going to sell it to RC2. I hope not look at what they have been doing with Johnny lightning, bringing out old ertl castings and selling them in JL packaging as well as not as much new stuff.
  18. You guys want to see a cool movie from the 70's filmed in NY. Go rent The seven ups it just came out on DVD. Great car chase in there involving a 72 Bonneville and 72 Ventura.
  19. Any of you guys Hot Rodders ? Is it true this stuff has 105 octane ? I really could care less about MPG in this type of application but it would be great to be able to build a 13:1 comp. small block and get cheap pump gas to run it.
  20. Full Moon on Arthur Avenue & 187 st in the Bronx and Johnny's Lincoin Ave. in Mt. Vernon two of the best . When one of you guys want to know how pizza is supposed to be this is where to get it. And I grew up in a family full of professional pizza guys.
  21. We had one a z24 my wife bought new in 1996 with that motor we sold it four years ago. It still running around town and changed owners again 208,000 and still going strong. And that little 2.4 has plenty of torque it gets up and moves good.
  22. Chain places suck. The only good pizza is made in NY maybe Jersey but thats it . And at home. You guys dont want to know whats in the crap ingriedients in those places.
  23. Maybe we'll get a Kingswood wagon too ! I want dark green with wood decals on the sides. I am really glad I wont have to buy some doofy minivan when the little gearheads come along .

    Farts

Let me give you guys a little hint from a master farter (great to annoy your wife/girlfriend) , sleep on your stomach you will start letting them go like a machine gun! Feed the dog some thing to get him going too and you will have the whole bed to yourself !
  25. I can think of so many cars either in boneyards or at somebodys house that were neglacted/junked that I would like to have . It really is a shame and makes a true car guy feel bad .
