  1. Don't you just love it when you had plans to do something (like a trip or something) and someone bails out and cancels at the VERY last minute? So either you do what you had planned alone or not even bother. Granted sometimes they've canceled because something tragic or important happen that I can understand, but when they cancel because "they don't feel like it" just... I don't know why, but crap like this happens to me all the time and it's not with just one friend in particular it's with quite a few of them. I'm not someone who gets pissed off often but this is one of the little things that grate on my nerves.
  2. I wouldn't mind a 4cyl G6 coupe since the sedan offers it and it could be a good for people who want better gas mileage but don't want a compact. I'm thinking that my next car might be an Alero or Grand Am coupe with an Ecotec (5 speed of course). I'll take a cobalt coupe with a twin turbo charged LS7 B) .. Is that too much power?
  3. I gotta admit I like the front end on that Odyssey much better than the "bug eyed" one we have over here...(not to mention I think it will fit in more with the current line up) My WANTS... Need I ask more?
  4. I think I've only experimented with sodas that are nearly identical.. like cherry coke + dr pepper, sprite + 7 up, coke + pepsi.
  5. Yeah? Wait till 2012! .... Er. I don't know were that came from... Back on topic: I'm just north east of you and I get pretty much the same weather you get. In my Junior year of high school some kid had pulled the fire alarm in the middle of January right when that short perior where the windchill factor is like -15 degrees.. and of course I had a t-shirt on and didn't have enough time to go get a coat.. I'm just glad that the teachers allowed the students to wait in our cars to keep warm...
  6. That will explain everything.. Thanks for the link! I'm curious how/if the seller on autotrader responds to any questions on people who want to check it out in person. I was considering it since the location listed is not even a 2 hour drive from where I am.
  7. I'll have mine in by tonight
  8. Aside the headlights and most likely smaller wheels.. what's different from the concept?
  9. After watching it about 50 or so times... I'm betting that it's stop motion and keyframed together.
  10. I live about 50ft away from a police station and I would consider this to be a very safe neighborhood where very little happens but the cops are dicks but I guess that's the trade off. A coworker of mine who lives down the street from me (same distance to the police station). He had installed a cd deck and subwolfer and spent a few hours getting it right.. well he forgot to lock his door that night and some kids had just ripped the deck out of his dash where it ripped the wires. The sub and amp wern't touched since they were bolted to metal and weren't going anywhere but he was pissed about the deck. Thankfully so far I haven't had my car broken in but one morning I woke up at 5:30 or so from my car alarm was set off. Even though I quickly ran to the window to check it out I didn't see anyone out there. One odd thing that's been done to my car was I came home dropped off by a buddy and there was a container of KFC mashed potatoes mushed into my driver's side door handle as well as a few other cars on my street.
  11. My mom is looking for a new car (SUV) and we found this... http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_...7500&cardist=52 Is there's something I'm not seeing in this for it to be selling at that price? Carfax doesnt have anything major on it
  12. In contrast to the majority.. I LOVE this.. but then, the 70-71 Cuda is my all time favorite car... One quote from the article that caught my eye...
  13. That was just... Awsome...B)
  14. Honda Odyssey Touring DVD/Navigation - $40,956
  15. I got one in progress.. but if you guys want to move the competitions along with out interuptions, that's fine by me..
  16. That's awsome... I'd love to have a truck that can easily convert between standard wheels and those.. like say the treads fold down from under the car and the the wheels prop up.. or something to that effect.
  17. My current Household: 100% GM.. for now... Me: Oldsmobile - With 125,000 miles it runs good, but a little sluggish in shifting and some other small issues. I'd like to replace it with a newer Grand Am or Alero coupe with an ecotec + 5 speed for some better gas mileage. Dad: Chevy - He likes the car but misses the full size feel with the Buick Park Ave that he had that my mom currently uses. He's looking into getting a Charger R/T in the next year or two (I wish I could convince hin into a SRT-8 :D ) Mom: 94 Buick (probly will be replaced very soon, with it having 280K+ miles and having startup/running issues. Bro: 92 Buick - Car runs but my bro comes to me complaining about several issues including a hole in his wheel whell that leaks water into the trunk that goes to the rear seat and smells really bad it it's non cleaned up in time. He also says his car get's 12miles to the gallon...
  18. I saw a show on the Discovery or Learning channel on those... they attached them to some armored vehicle and ran over a land mine and it still was useable.
  19. Very classy.. My dad will probly be owning one of them in the next year or two.
  20. I gotta say that looks alone, the Astra hatch is HOT! And to think I usually despise hatches (maybe the crx is ok but not to the WANT stage). If saturn brings out something like this to replace the Ion.. I've decided on my next car.
  21. I'm 22 and Buick had some appeal (not a lot, but some) to me. Mainly in the Riviera, every time I see that car it just stops me in my tracks... If it had a northstar based engine it would be my ultimate goal in life (not saying that it's not a possibility). Let this be known.. this is the quote of the month:
  22. Also the article has this little info:
  23. When I drank out at partys card games were the most common. Mostly asshole (also refered as President) wich was probly the most overplayed drinking card game in this area (possibly others). Other games that are pretty common is Beer Pong.
