  1. Any idea when the $1 bill will get a redesign?
  2. Here's to hoping for a good deal of inspiration is carried over from the Torana concept.
  3. I have 128,000 miles on my 3100 Achieva and I beat the $h! out of the thing and it still runs like a champ. The only severe problem I've had is that notorious head gasket issue with the 60 degree engines.. I'd get that checked out before it becomes an issue. Other than that and general upkeep, I haven't really put much money into keeping it running.
  4. Weren't those actual production (non 3rd party)? But I agree with you.. best looking vert I know of and I'm one who doesn't really care for convertable in the first place.
  5. Well I've been playing guitar (no schooling, but wish I had in the past) for about 8 years now. I've been at drums for about 2 years (again no schooling but wish I had and may at some point) I think I may have posted this here a while back.. here's my equipment Guitars: Accoustic: Alverez 6 string - Orignally my dad's who bought it in 1978 and since I picked up guitar i've been playing that. My dad hasent played in a long time so technically I was using it all the time but he offcially gave it to me as a High School Graduation gift. I look at it as a family family heirloom Black Electric: Kramer Focus 2000 - I've probly put in a good $500 of work/repair into it. The action is so tight, I can't slide a medium sized pic between the strings & neck. Blue Electric: Jay Turser - Got this off ebay and well.. I kinda regret buying it. I've always loved Les Pauls but this thing is NOT a Les Paul of any form at all. The action is really high off the neck, the pickups sound really muffled, and it has a really hard time staying in tune. My buddy got an Epiphone Les Paul recently and that thing was CHEEPER for what I spend on this thing (over $300) but his Les Paul blows this out of the water in how it plays and even material qualities. I know I'm looking to sell this thing be even with a hardshell case, I'd problably get $150 at most.. My loss there.. Drum Set: Pearl Forum Pedals on the floor: Fostex Digital Recorder Korg Toneworks AXG1000 Dan Electro Wah Wah Pedal (don't use) Amps: Dinosaur (not sure what model but it sounds pretty good) Peavy (blown, the other one, my dad had bought out of nowhere and broght it home one day) Possibly in the future I'll break down and buy a Marshall, Crate, or Fender amp but these are good enoguh for now. As for the music I play.. When I first started, I was ALL into Classic Rock and nothing else.. over the years I've kinda gotten a bit sick of some Classic Rock (probably listened to it WAY too much ) and then I started listing to a lot of modern metal band (Korn, Mudvayne, Slipknot) and a lot of Metallica as well as some other modern rock like STP, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, ect. Recently, I'm kinda not sure where it came from.. in the past I could not listien to any of it but now I find myself listeing to a lot of Death Metal. As for bands, I was part of a quick thown together band back in my senior year of high school for a school supported "Battle of the Bands." We played some songs that I liked including Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze, Foo Fighters - Hero, but then some others I could care less like some Wheezer/AFI songs. But I enjoyed the experience.

    ....

Looks HOT!!! ... I see Imaj and Sixteen influences all around. Here's to hoping that this will be the production or at least clost to it as they possibly can. Another thing.. is the price on the NG CTS supposed to go up/down?
  7. The LaCrosse is another FWD concept to production that I'm disapointed in.
  8. I don't get it... they had the perfect concept and now they're trying to over do it here... if the grill were more like the orginal G6 concept that would be perfect IMO.. it would also match the Solstice.. btw (Optional Spoiler + Hood please!!)
  9. O well... so I had some spelling errors in there... I spent like 15min on it at most.
  10. Nope, not the only one.

  12. I love those blacked out headlight housings. Can't wait to see the Aura.
  13. A little off topic, but I really think those TB LTs with the refaced grill/headlights look horriable unless it's red or black. That being said, that color in general, doesn't do anything for me.
  14. Other than having a rebadged Envoy and Canyon, what purpose does the brand serve? I'm not supprised and actually I think it's about time they got rid of it rather than continuing to put money into it.
  15. *Sits in C&G head chair* *Puts feet up on desk and reclines back* Nice place you guys have here! Sorry, I just had to
  16. Thanks for the nice comments... I used a whole bunch of spy pics as a reference but i'm sure there will be differences. I feel that, if anything, the grill is close to the real deal. In time we will find out... **Waits patiently** I want to see it now!!!
  17. Great.. now I want to use that on my rims... I just don't to f@#k them up. As for the headlights, I'd say that'd would definatley add a nice twist from the blah looking chrome. I still think projector would complete the look even more, but then that won't be cheap. Maybe in time there will be some aftermarket headlgihts that resemble what the G6 concept had, the shape/size looks simluar if not identical from the concept to produciton.
  18. Thanks for the votes guys!
  19. x2For the sake of picking just one, I'd have to say that a RWD Buick Sedan is essential to it's survival.
  20. My best friend (who's about 5' 9") has been in a relationship with his g/f (who is about 6' / 6' 1") for about 8 years and now they're engaged to be wed next year.
  21. I think the black housings would look hot... the next best thing you can do to the headlgihts, but then it wouldn't really be budget any more is a convert them to Projectors+HIDs. http://www.hidtech.com
  22. Unless of course, he's talking about an 80s G-body Monte SS/Grand PrixIf you aren't really too picky and can take a sedan, if you're lucky you might be able to find a good condition b-body Impala SS. I'm sure that will be well under $20k so you have some money left over for aftermarket parts :AH-HA_wink:
