  1. I drove by a Chevy dealership yesterday and there was a Porsche Boxter in the front of the lot.
  2. Iron Maiden - Flight OF Icarus Metallica - Master of Puppets Necrophagist - Seven
  3. I've smoked pot three times and all of those time I was pretty drunk. Do I regret doing it? After the first one, yes... The first time, I feel the experience I had was enough to tell myself that it's not worth getting into. As for the other two times, I just make sure I'm with some non pot-smoking crowds when I may get drunk.
  4. Are both those models V6s? I understand high gas costs.. but what happens if you need to chase someone that has a fast car?
  5. I call chop! It's a fake! Nah. j/k I believe that it's real but I would like to see some more pictures.. and if possible...... a burnout video
  6. Well so far they've had The Hulk, Mami Vice, Dukes of Hazard. ect.. what's next? A-Team? As for what the car will be.. I'm hoping they use a 3rd Gen Trans Am or a late model 4th gen. I bet it will be a 3rd gen.. kinda like people were wondering if the new Charger was going to be in the Dukes of Hazard move and it didn't even make a cameo in the movie.
  7. I guess I missed to post this one.. I could have sworn that I posted this. I still have the rims and the bolt patern on those are 5x100 where as the 99+ N-Bodies use the 5x115 bolt patern from w-bodies so my past rims won't fit and I'm selling them.. they have about 50% tred on the tires and have only been driven in the summer with no snow (with the exception of maybe 2-3 days). I'd like to get $500 out of them and I keep hearing from some of my friend that they "may" know someone who "might" be interested but so far noone's really definate in buying them. I'm open to offers to those interested, but I'd rather not ship them so pickup is prefered. As for the Alero, I'd like to get rims but this time I'm going to do a struts/springs first to get rid of the 4x4 look and a nice controlled ride. Besides, I think the stock wheels don't look to bad as is (compared to the ugly hubcaps my Achieva had) . so I'm not in any hurry to replace those. Sixty8.. Please post pics when you can.. I'm pretty interested in this Alero you saw. Thanks for the comment everyone!
  8. I just have them in my low beams for now.. my Achieva had them in the low/high beam for over two years (till it got totaled) and I had no problems with them. Some more pics with no pin striping... I'm having a hell of a time trying to get rid of the tape residue of the drivers side molding, once I get that off, I'll do the passenger's side.
  9. Yeah yesterday i took a hair dryer to the pinstriping and got all that off.. the molding, I got the driver's side off asside a little tape residue. Today I'm going to get the remaining tape residue and the passenger's side molding and take another stab at the driver's side window's rubber stripping. yeah.. I definately perfer silverstars over anyother halogen bulb.. HIDs may be in the future if I'm able to retrofit some projectors.
  10. Are you supprised at all? I'm not.. While I do think the Cobalt isn't a bad looking car, for Chevy, it's no Pontiac
  11. Uploaded images to a new host.. they should work now. While I agree with you on how the deflector takes away from the chrome strip, I actually have them for their sole purpose rather than looks. I always leave my windows slightly cracked open without having to worry about rain and $h! getting in my car.. though they don't really help from snow, but then it's mainly during the summer that I really need the ventilation in the car. Thanks for the comments though. Tonight I had gone to Wally World to get some generic black liscense plate frames but they wanted $6 each so I'll try Advanced Auto tomorrow, but I walked out of Walmart with a set of Silverstars
  12. Washed it, and started to take off the pinstripping. For a while it was going off pretty easy but then the later parts were getting pretty tough to peal off so I'll have to get back out there and take another stab at it. I love the tint on the sides and rear window, still not sure if I want to keep that strip accross the front. Here's some pictures as it is now. I almost laughed when I got my liscense plates What do you guy's think of my center 'exhaust' (tow hitch, incase you can't see what I was refering to) Something I need to take care of That's if for now...
  13. I don't mind retro.. just as long as the vehicle isn't underpowered and overpriced Examples: -Plymoth Prowler (Still looks damn good even today IMO) -Ford Thunderbird -Chevy SSR
  14. Congrats on your purchase! I also like the color.. but I personally, would have gone for a dark blue. Looks great other wise.
  15. This photo pretty much expains it Things I lost: -KYB Shocks/Struts -Snow Tires with only 1 winter's use -Springs (less than a week of use) -Duel Flowmaster Super 40 Mufflers -Hood Still in the process of looking for a car. I'm in the market for a 2 door midsized coupe. So far I haven't found anything I'm really liking.
  16. That's my kinda of bird.. it said it drinks beer.
  17. As far as I know, Delta doesn't support AWD, but then, since they scrapped AWD (I think it was an emissions thing) IDK if the Toyota platform in necessary anymore.
  18. $20 says it won't even get the supercharged 2.0L even though Pontiac is for "Performance."

    C6 Z06

    They guy's under 25 and he's driving a 2006 Z06? That definately sucks though.
  20. I'm with sixty8, I like the whole package, though if it were a production I can see it haveing the same issues Solstices and late 90s grand prix SEs have, for states that require a front plate, I feel it would ruin the front entirely. Anyway... here's a chop I had done some time ago, to my achieva based on the 442 concepts (note: I used my existing hood) Looking back on it now, I really don't car for the side and rear skirts but I still love the front.
  21. I'm still looking.. I haven't seen a stratus/sebring coupe yet within my price range. I think that may have been a bad thing taking that Grand Prix out for a test drive.. I think I may have fell in love with it, despite all the small quirks that are wrong. The thing that really bugs me is I don't want to get pressured into buying a car that I don't want. I can see myself buying a car from being pressued because it's a "no problem vehicle." Then, I can see myself regeting the purchase and then selling it and getting something different soon after. I'm trying very hard to keep an open mind. If the weather wasn't so $h!ty I would have gone to a few more dealerships but it's supposed to be like this through tuesday.
  22. Well I went out again today. The cold rain certainly made it very pleasant compared to the warm sunny day yesterday was. First I was looking for someone to go along with me just for a 2nd opinion that's seen the vehicle rather than have me explain it. A buddy had earlier said he'll go out looking for cars earlier this week, he had to do some things and I couldn't find anyone else that wanted to go, not even my dad. I was forced to go buy myself, o well.. I know what I want so I guess that works sometimes. I'm browsing a few dealerships looking for Mid to late 90s coupes and I'm only seeing 00+ models selling for $8 up. One dealership had a 97 Firebird formula for $6k, 80k miles, auto, cloth seats, t-tops. They were firm on that $6k price and wouldn't take it out for a test drive so I said screw that. Then I check out a few Grand Ams at a few dealerships they were 00-03 models and were selling from $8k to $13k. I go a F--- dealership, While browsing, a salesman comes out and asks if I need any help.. I tell him what I'm looking for (2 door, mid sized coupe, V6). The guy said he wasn't sure if they had anything but we went inside to check the inventory. He said he got a new arrival of a 99 Grand Am GT that could fit my price range. Got to the car, started it up, found out that it's an 03 selling for $13k. Went back inside, said that the Sales manager's sister was selling her car for that price, 2000 Dodge Intrepid. I went out to take a look at it. 87k miles, basic features, some crappy aftermarket cd/cassette deck in there. We took it out for a test drive (I drove) for about a half hour. I'll admit it was certainly a nice ride, roomy, smooth, quiet, but the car was not at all calling out to me. The salesman, was very persistent in selling the car asking me what can he do to get me to buy it. I told him I'll take down the information and I'll keep searching for other models that fit my budget and I will let him know. My dad knows someone who's selling a 2000-01 Mitsubishi Eclipse V6 for around that price so some time I'll be checking that out.
  23. Any opinions on that Grand Prix GTP coupe? Is $4k asking too low? Should I even bother with that many small things wrong with it? I don't think it would take that much to fix them, just not sure if the issues would come back in the future.
  24. My 97 Achieva - First car that was "mine"
