  1. 21-inch wheels and tires are going to be ridiculously expensive. I'm also not so sure they're correct with the 3.9 being standard. I think it's quite apparent with the new introductions that the 3.9 has been rendered useless.
  2. Haha, Lutz is so great. Also, I'd like to see the Z06 be given a chance before the Viper is crowned king. It's one thing to have 600HP, it's another to put it to the ground effectively. I'm guessing the Viper will be faster in a straight line, but I remember when the 500HP Viper came out the C5 Z06 could beat it around some tracks.
  3. An HSV G8 would be pretty cool, though I wouldn't expect V6 models from what Mooney said about selling higher-end models if there's more demand that capacity.
  4. Just in case it sounded like I was joking about flushing it down the toilet, I was being serious. It won't actually be flushed through the toilet, but the swirling action is the same that the CD repair kits do.
  5. BMW 545i
  6. Flush it down the toilet. I've never done it (never had to), but I hear it works just like a CD repair kit.
  7. Chrysler ME412 (do concepts count?) Mercedes E420 Ferrari F430
  8. Ferrari F40
  9. Let's see here: Tundra 4x4: 381HP, 401lb-ft 14/18 Escalade AWD: 403HP, 417lb-ft 13/19 Yeah, so impressive. Never been done before
  10. I think everyone has stated their feelings about the CTS vs. 3er, let's move on to something else.
  11. Here is a pic of the Malibu's rear seat. I'm not quite sure how it has less room than the old one, because it looks almost as big as the Maxx:
  12. Wow, that looks super cool!
  13. I don't think that many people use the door armrests anyways. Maybe the passenger, but the driver? I doubt it. At least the Malibu's center armrest (the one I personally use the most), is covered in leather.
  14. And this means the flaws should be overlooked because? If this is so, then no one can say anything wrong about GM's midsize offerings, because they don't play to sell them at Camcord levels. If Toyota plans on taking share from GM and Ford, then they better have the best truck on the market, just like GM better have the best midsize offering on the market if they plan to take share from the Camcord. Up to this point, there is no report to say that the Tundra is better than the T900s, but there is at least one report that says the Tundra is targeting the T800s... meaning it's not as good as the T900s.
  15. I do not think I would want to haul 4 grown men around in the 3-Series for very long, but I think the CTS would be fine to do the same thing. Maybe 3-Series owners don't intend to do this, but that's what reg's getting at: If you want to carry around full-grown people regularly, the 3-Series is not the car you're looking for; the CTS could handle the job, though.
  16. Wow, the NAV screen looks very cool. I like how it is more or less just an extension of the center stack, unlike other models (such as in some Volvos), and also how is is placed at the perfect height - directly in like with the guages.
  17. Purchasing Lotus would be fine, but I'm not sure GM needs anything besides Daewoo in that area. Actually, they could just give them rebadged Daewoos and be done with it. Simple, cheap solution and it would likely grow shares. Plus, I like the possibilities of Lotus giving input on Kappa II.
  18. I'm not sure, but either way you should wait for the '08. It gets the turbo 2.0 with 260HP instead of the 205HP you'd be getting.
  19. The 6.2 has 417 lb-ft. Remember that the LS2 is being replaced by the LS3 (car version of the 6.2). I'm guessing it won't be long until the 6.0 in the trucks is replaced by the 6.2.
  20. Turbo is saying that this vehicle is not going to last for your typical 5 years on the market. This will be an '08 model, and somewhere around the 2011MY a new, North American designed and tested Pontiac Zeta will replace it. It is the next-gen GP/G8, but it's not going to be here for long. As for the interior: I think it looks better than anything outside of Cadillac GM has to offer. I wouldn't be surprised if it's slightly driver-oriented, too. The GTO is, but it's hard to tell. Sit in the passenger seat and it becomes apparent.
  21. One or two piercings in the ears is ok on girls, but I don't like tattoos on girls. Piercings/tattoos on male athletes these days is the norm, but I think other males with tats/piercings look weird with them usually.
  22. Wow, that sucks, sorry to hear about that. My GTO has being doing great so far (coming up on a year) and you can get slightly used ones for great prices (I actually found a cheap used '06 and now my dad's interested in upgrading ). However, with all the work and modifications you've put into your car I would keep it for a while still if I were you. I know you don't want to put in another tranny, but seeing that you've already done so much, what's a little more? However, if you do want a GTO, go for it. The only thing I don't like about mine is that it's as auto and gets sucky fuel mileage, but I wouldn't have gotten it if I was worried about mileage. Camino does have a rare one for sale, too, ya know :AH-HA_wink:
  23. Why did they have to add the tooth thing? It looks bad and I don't see the need to put it there "just because." The Z is looking like it needs a redesign.
  24. Read this awesome assessment by Autoweek: http://autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?...001/1024/STATIC Also, it says the stack can be wood instead of the metallic trim:
