  1. From the reviews, I'd say it's one of the better-driving midsize FWD cars.
  2. In addition to what wildmanjoe just said, since the Charger wheels are wider I believe they would stick out even farther I think.
  3. HERE is an explanation. I don't know for Intrepids, but I know GTOs have a very limited number of wheels that can fit without rubbing because of offset issues. I would go to a Dodge forum somewhere and ask if anyone knows, but with a 20mm difference I'm guessing they won't work.
  4. What a disgrace. I would think that thing could roll over very easily. The funniest part (IMO) about this is that you can't even see the brakes because the center part of the wheels is so huge.
  5. Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm not seeing what makes this GP GXP a "classic" or anything as the Custom S would be? Does it just hole a certain sentimental value to you? BTW, congrats on the purchase. What does tire width have to do with proportions?
  6. I think 5 x 4 1/2 is probably fine. You'd only be off by .7mm, which should be within tolerances. Just a quick search on google for the different offsets of the two standard wheels makes me think that it probably won't work though. The Intrepid had +40mm offset from what I found, and the Charger has +15 to +22mm. I don't think that would work but I'm not an expert.
  7. Why would you want to put it in storage?
  8. The Check Engine Light came on in the GTO when I was in the middle of nowhere once, so I gave it some gas to make sure everything sounded normal under acceleration, and it did, so I didn't worry about it much. Turned out that I apparently didn't put the gas cap on all the way after I got fuel I guess, because when I took it off and put it back on the light went off shortly afterwards.
  9. Did anyone else see it? It was just on CBS. Basically, the Robot goes and gets a bunch of jobs still (this time there are more - it stocks shelves and does a couple more new things), and then at the end it "walks" to the junkyard and sees a big crane putting an old car on top of the scrap heap, and then wakes up. I guess this time they're showing dead cars instead of a robot dying. Hopefully there aren't any complaints this time
  10. How is the Elantra still floating? Is it shallow there or is it actually that water-tight?
  11. Not for $54k.
  12. Does the new CTS have Bluetooth? It didn't say so in the press release.
  13. And yet another demonstration that the UAW if filled with idiots. I haven't heard Toyota's workers complaining about "injustice." The only injustice done when it come to the UAW is the in justice they impose upon the Detroit automakers, and their blind stupidity that doesn't allow them to change their ways.
  14. I don't think the A-pillar back will be much different from the Acadia, but I expect a different front end and different interior. Some of the Chevy Lambdas will also be built at Delta Township.
  15. I thought the Freedom of the Seas was the largest cruise ship in the world. It was right next to the cruise ship I went on last summer when we were docking... it dwarfed the one I was on, which is one of the biggest Carnivals. It's 1112' long, 184' wide, 208' tall and 160000 tons, and holds 3600 passengers. The QM2 is actually a little longer and taller, but it isn't as wide and is 150000 tons. It also has a capacity of 2620 passengers. I'm sure they'd both be amazing...
  16. Wow, that was amazing. It sounds like it has a monster cam in it.
  17. One of mine is almost all the way in. I'm hoping it doesn't have to be extracted.
  18. Well, on my car I have nothing, but on our other cars we do have dealer tags. I guess no one else cares, plus on the other cars the dealer tag is much less ugly and simpler than it was on my car.
  19. How big of an improvement do the brakes make?
  20. You should contact the regional service manager or regional customer service then. They check in on dealership performance and they aren't going to be very happy if the dealership isn't able to fix someting.
  21. Bob Lutz isn't going to take care of the problem. If the dealer can't fix it, contact Buick costumer service and make them do something about the problem.
  22. Happy B-Day!
  23. Lots of "wood" is fake. I'd say about half of luxury cars have fake wood. The Escalade, for example, has fake wood, but I can't tell it's fake. The LaCrosse also starts at like $22k or something, I hardly call that a "luxury car" pricewise.
  24. I don't remember being impressed at all with the LaCrosse interior, though it's been over a year since I've sat in one. If I remember correctly, the materials, while mostly soft-touch, felt cheap anyways. It was like the soft-touch stuff in the CSVs. Sure, it's soft-touch, but it doesn't feel good anyways. I was much more impressed with the Lucerne's interior despite the lower dash being hard (they should have just used the DTS's lower dash).
  25. You should be able to get the dealership to get new trim pieces if the paint is peeling off. We got a new stereo unit once because the paint was peeling off.
