  1. The regular EVO looks pretty good, but I'm not liking the wagon too much. Nothing about the car, other than the front end, says sporty to me.
  2. That's disgusting. What's the point?
  3. We had 11 entries this time, one more than in CC1. Hopefully we'll get the 15 that Josh is asking for in CC3. Anyways, here are the results: The winner, with 26 points, was gt1750! In second place, with 19 points, was NOS2006! And in third place, with 10 points, was !!!TED!!! Congrats to everyone who entered, and especially to the winners!
  4. Voting has now ended. The votes will be counted and the winners announced in a short while.
  5. I think Saturn is going to be GM's best brand, because they won't have any weak products. The Sky, Aura both kick ass, and the Outlook is said to be really good (and the engines sound GREAT!), and the next ION is said to be drop-dead-goreous. That's basically Saturn's whole line except the next VUE which should be nice considering it will be the Opel version of the S3X (which will therefore be nicer than the S3X). The only question mark is the next Relay, and Lutz said "judge me after the next minivan."
  6. Saw a Charger on the road today, only like the third one every and the first one in a couple months.
  7. What browsers are you guys using? Can you do a print screen and post it here?
  8. Woah, you got to sit in it? That would be sweet to be able to sit in GM's concepts.
  9. sciguy - I don't have that problem. Post something in the Forum Feedback about it as I doubt that many people look at this thread.
  10. The interior is well made and is substantial, but some of the materials, particularly on the door panels, could use some upgrading, at least on the LTZ and SS models. It doesn't scream cheap, but it doesn't scream any sort of luxury either.
  11. I think this should do well for Mini. The current one sells well with basically no back seat, and this should appeal to more people who need more than a dog seat in the back.
  12. Yeah you can make something up if you want.
  13. Saw my first '06 Impala today.
  14. thegriffon, will this Opel become the next VUE?
  15. I saw my first '06 Impala on the road today. It looked pretty good, though at first I wasn't sure what it was and it certainly didn't jump out from traffic as the 300 used too.
  16. The only way you'd see power gains from the 6-speed is if they had a higher torque/HP capacity than the 4-speeds. I think the 5-speed that is mated to the Northstar limits how much the Northstar can make, though I'm not positive.
  17. Uncle Dave isn't an insider. AH-HA, evok, and thegriffon are the main ones around here. Every once in a while Hogans_Heros chimes in too.
  18. I doubt they will show the new Malibu this early. They just introduced the new front end and SS models and they don't want current-gen Malibu sales to tank because the next one is so good.
  19. The Centieme wasn't horrible, but the sketch looks much better than the actual concept. If it got a Velite front end (or at least the grille) and a better greenhouse then it could be a looker.
  20. They actually seemed to like it pretty well, and didn't say a whole lot of bad things about it. They said "this is the SUV the 9-7x should have been."
  21. An SRX hybrid would definetly be a good thing. It gets horrible mileage considering it doesn't weigh much more than an STS.
  22. I think the problems that Fly listed would still apply to the hardtop. It's too small and doesn't have a back seat, plus if you needed cargo room to carry bigger guns and spike strips and such there might not be sufficient room.
  23. It's no problem, just wanted to make sure you didn't forget to vote for a second place entry. BTW, thanks for voting, it's appreciated by the choppers.
  24. You don't have to have only high performance cars to be a performance oriented brand. BMW is a great example; a BMW 325i (last gen) isn't going to outrun a whole lot of cars in a straight line, but it's still fun to fling around corners. Pontiac just needs to make back to the basics cars that handle well and are fun to drive. They don't necessarily have to be the fastest cars in their class, though that would be nice; they just need to be the most fun to drive.
  25. Well unless it's the turbo version then it won't be faster than many regular cars. Also, with it being a convertible it might be dangerous if it was involved in any serious accidents.
