  1. Here's my entry: EDIT: Whoops, it's not a production vehicle.
  2. While I think the Enclave's interior is pretty good, I agree it would look better if the black plastic was brown like the leather surrounding it, or even aluminum to match the other aluminum on the dash. It looks like the plastic surrounding the heated seat controls is brown, actually. I may do a photoshop later to experiment.
  3. The Enclave is for sure a 2008MY. Originally the Outlook and Acadia were supposed to be 2007s and the Enclave a 2008, and they all got delayed about 2 months.
  4. Ahh, I see, thanks. Anyone want to post specs for the new Tundra to compare? Too bad there are no drawings of the front end, though you can tell it's similar to the Tahoe.
  5. It was supposed to be originally, so maybe it still is. All the Lambdas got delayed 2 months though, so it'd be a very, very late 2006 release. Probably December.
  6. Sorry to hear about that. 20 is pretty old for a cat, is it not? My aunt had to put one of her 6 (I think) cats down last night.
  7. So when you say the Camry has better gauges, it's objective, and when someone says other vehicles have better guages than the Camry, it's subjective? What a load of contradictory
  8. You can get a new GTO for about $25k now (2005 model). I've seen plenty of people on LS1GTO.com get new '05s for $25-26k. If you want it even cheaper you could get a slightly used '04 (like mine) for a little over $20k.
  9. I'm not seeing the "all new" Chevy/GMC either. Could you link us to it or tell us how to get there?
  10. The thing I don't like about the Mallet Solstice is that they paint the grill black too and it looks too monotone. I would assume they could do something other than black if you wanted them too.
  11. Sounds like a good choice. My dad really likes his Maxx after about 18 months of ownership. I'd like to see how much quicker the Maxx SS is, as the regular Maxx is a little slow for me.
  12. Haha, that's funny. I knew it was going to be coming online the 27th, but I never thought of changing the computer's time. The Sierra is Sierra Classic too, a good sign. Hopefully everything actually gets posted on the 27th.
  13. Congrats! Did you get the V6 or V8?
  14. I didn't rip the piece of the Camry interior off... this is a weird comparison, but it took the strength of a little baby to do it. I wouldn't have sat there trying to rip it off making myself look like an idiot in the middle of a bunch of people if it didn't just take a slight pull. Maybe Toyota will address the problem for production by putting a screw there to hold it on, but the only thing connecting it to the stack are those little extensions or whatever that stick out -- kind of like the little things that hold Hotwheels tracks together. turbo - I'm sure you could rip pieces off lots of interiors off, but I think it would require a lot more effort than it took me to take the piece of the interior off. Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if came loose on it's own if you were going over some bad potholes or a rough rode.
  15. Thanks guys. I'm not trashed right now, lol. I had a Senior "All-Star" basketball game for our conference tonight and didn't get home 'til 11PM, but I'll be out partying tomorrow night.
  16. Hey_Now - which interior would you consider the best of the three?
  17. Looks like it should do pretty well. You can tell a whole lot on the exterior, but the interior looks very good.
  18. Yes, unfortunately most of the media hasn't figured that out or isn't admitting it. *cough* CR *cough*
  19. Don't see what? That it's pretty damn boring?
  20. Yes, you should have. I don't think this was from being at an auto show, all the Camrys there did it. It's a flaw in the fit and finish of the interior, and last I checked all Camry interiors have the same design. LOL, that's funny because 99% of the time amature photographers take better photos than GM's "professionals."
  21. We're working on getting a new host and dumping the current one ASAP, bear with us guys.
  22. Here is a good illustration of the G-R-E-A-T fit and finish of the new Camry: That's some great quality!
  23. Yes, actually you can see some ill-fitting parts if you open your eyes, and I can guarantee you those to edge pieces on the center stack will pop right off. I think I may go to the Toyota dealership some day and test drive a Camry and then ask the salesman why a piece of the center stack fell off when I went over a bump just to see his reaction.
  24. The SRX is getting an update for '07, so it makes since that the STS would one year later. The taillamps look cool, though I'm not sure the updated grill changes much... Hopefully the front gets some more changes and the interior gets a major upgrade as the SRX is supposed to get.
  25. Saw my first 9-7x today. I also saw a sweet GTO in Spice Red and another one in Midnight Blue Metallic the other day at the dealer.
