  1. They probably compared the 07 SUVs to the previous month to show they are still gaining momentum. Comparing it to last years numbers doesn't really tell you a whole lot since it has 06 sales in there too. I'm guessing Yukon sales were down due to lack of supply still. My dealer just got their first two Denalis in the other day. Notice 2007 Yukon sales were up 109% vs. Feb. All in all, a bad month for GM, but it's going to be that way until customers get used to not having big incentives.

Lexus, BMW, MB, Audi, et. al should be very scared. The current CTS sells like 5k/month and doesn't have an interior even halfway befitting of its price. This interior knocks the socks off everything.
  3. I think they should let you pick and choose at least some of the add-ons. Personally, I think it's not too over done except for that retarded spoiler and the lower air dam area.

I was assuming it's a sedan because we've been told it will only be a sedan, but it'd be a nice treat if it was a coupe.

Agreed it is awesome. Does anyone else think it looks like a good version of the Imaj front end? The profile is amazing as well! It looks more like a coupe than the CLS, at least under the sheet.
  6. I'm going to record the program. Hopefully we get to see what's under more of those blue sheets! A preview of the T900 trucks and the 08 Malibu would kick ass!
  7. Damn, the front is sweet! Almost like a good take on the Imaj concept!
  8. Yes, the theory of OHC being more powerful could be put to an end, but what about OHC being smoother, and more willing to rev in most applications?
  9. I forgot to post this in my orginal post, but the other day I saw an old Caprice (from the '80s) in really good shape with "Chevrolet" on the left corner of the trunk and "Pontiac" on the right.
  10. 0-60 in 3.4 and the 1/4 in 11.4? Those are way off. No way it would be faster than the current Z06.
  11. Cool, did you see any really low times from others? What did that blue GTO do in one of your pics?
  12. I think the Mustang is just getting a refresh for '09 (originally it was going to be '08 but they pushed it back). Anyways, what were their predictions for the Camaro's engine (though I doubt it's right since supposedly they just changed their plans in the last month).
  13. I thought I heard they we're going to tune the Aveo's engine for a little more power so people could also enjoy a little better performance?
  14. Sorry I couldn't think of a better name, but if anyone has a better title it's certainly editable Anyways, this morning was a good day for old(er) cars. First, a 633CSi, then a Hugger Orange '69 Camaro, and next a early '60s Impala hardtop that was somewhat customized.
  15. It would seem to me the Acadia replaces just the Envoy XL, but I wouldn't be suprised to see it steal sales from the normal Envoy and Yukon as well.
  16. They'll definetly have something to move the old Silverados and Sierras, but I wouldn't expect GMS on everything like last year. And yes, it will look really bad when GM is down 30% or however much they will be down. I guess we should judge 2006 numbers vs. market share and 2004 sales.
  17. Check it out, I think it looks pretty cool: http://www.digitalcorvettes.com/forums/sho...ead.php?t=53465
  18. toesuf - do you remember what episode it was?

Meh, the side looks really boring, like an egg. The engine sounds good, but the competition is going to be up to about 500HP within a couple years (at least the CTS-V will be).
  20. Sounds like GM needs to hire some new accountants.
  21. The only real reason I would buy a Fit would be if I wanted something that was halfway fun to drive and got good mileage. But for $15-16k, there are way too many great used cars that are much better and more fun.
  22. I guess I just don't see the big benifit of buying a 2 year old car that has 100 miles on it. BTW, how can it be a "brand new" car with 100 miles on it? Why not just buy a two year old used one with like 10,000 miles on it for like $20K then. If you buy a new car, you have the full warranty. If you buy the two year old one, you have 1 year left on the warranty.
  23. From what I can tell, the second door appears slightly longer on the new truck - a good thing. Is it just me or does the taillight remind anyone else of the Titan's?
  24. Nah, that's the Equinox.
