    Shoes

-I have a pair of Dr. Martins for school (you have to wear brown or black leather shoes). - Two pairs of T-Mac IIs - one white with some blue and one blue with silver (I rarely wear the blue ones). - Some boots - A pair of shoes for PE (also my first pair of shoes for basketball this season). - A pair of basketball shoes (my PE shoes were my basketball shoes but I wore them out in half a season - for basketball at least). - Some Dwayne Wade shoes - red and white. So, 7 in total. 6 that I actually wear very often, and one that's just for PE.
  2. The Aura is going to be a mild hybrid. It will have the same system as the VUE (2.4 + BAS).
  3. Last I heard, the GMC minivan was still on, along with the Chevy and Saturn.
  4. Some good news, hopefully the SKY brings down Saturn's average buyer age. If Pontiac introduced a Kappa sedan the average buyer age would drop even more dramatically.
  5. I agree golf is definetly good for Buick, but I also think that Buick could get a better representative than Tiger. Tiger has too many other things to do since he's the most famous golfer and whatnot, but someone who would have more time to help promote the Buick brand would probably be better. I can't think of any big name golfers that would be better, but there's got to be a different golfer who could endorse Buick more successfully than Tiger has.
  6. That's a good suggestion, HUMVEE. I think the piano black would look good around the guages.
  7. You can't get a 2005 for $20k, but there are plenty of 04s for $20k, and with low mileage too. Insurance suprisingly isn't that bad for us. I think it's $700 or thereabouts because I'm not listed as the primary driver. EDIT: Just saw what Camino said. My GTO was listed at $24k but since they had it a while we got it for $21k. It had less than 6500 miles when we got it.
  8. I've thought about getting a K&N CAI for my GTO, but I don't really have the money to spend on it. It's $210+ and it gives you an 18HP gain so I guess it's relatively cheap for the performance you get. Does it have the same setbacks as the filter?
  9. Happy Birthday, Walt! Have a good one!
  10. Yes, Lambda is all-new, and shares nothing with any older GM platform.
  11. The hiss is only existant when it is moving (which lead me to believe it was the tires rubbing or something), and yes it does have an LSD.
  12. If we buy from the other stations instead of Mobil, then they'll just increase the price because demand for their gas will go up, so we'll actually probably pay more for a while. And, if/when Mobil decided to lower the price, it would only be for a small amount of time, so we wouldn't really save much at all. The price of gas sucks, but it's not going to get better anytime soon.
  13. No, the hiss isn't loud at all. If you were carrying on a conversation you wouldn't be able to hear it most likely. You certainly can't hear it with the radio on a pretty low volume.
  14. It's better in black, but still pretty ugly. The interior is cool, but looking at it closer, it doesn't look very ergonomic at all.
  15. I know on the GTO you just have to unscrew it (not sure how exactly you do that though) and then there are some little plugs that you put in the holes. I think you probably have to do more than putting the plugs in (touching up the paint as you said), but it sounded like it wasn't that hard.
  16. Good find, Ven, I didn't see it. So, the wood is only standard on tan and Morroco Brown, then? I would like to see the silver metallic trim be available on at least the brown, and even the tan. I sat in an STS with tan and aluminum trim, and it actually looked quite nice.
  17. C&G is happy to be the first site to inform you that Aura's ordering guide has been posted. Please Click Here to view the guide. It appears the woodgrain is an option, but it doesn't say what's standard (that I could find).
  18. It would appear that the woodgrain is an option based on the Aura ordering guide (which I will post in a few), but it doesn't say what is standard.
  19. Well, I encountered two problems today in the GTO. First, as I was driving along on the Interstate, a rock flew up and left a very, very small chip on the windshield. It's probably an eighth of an inch in diameter, and it's only on the outside. So, my question is, how easily can it be fixed? The second problem is a little more serious (potentially) and I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, but it's something in the rear end - probably the tires. I heard a slight "hiss" coming from the rear when I was driving, and I thought maybe it was some electrical problem and the speakers were making it (the stereo was off). However, I rode in the back of the car and decided it wasn't the speakers, and that it must be the tires/shocks. I've heard that if the GTO gets out of alignment that the tires can rub, but I looked underneath the car and didn't see where it would be rubbing. Anyone have any ideas? I think I'm just going to take it in on Monday most likely.
  20. 500HP out of a naturally aspirated 6.3L? That's awesome.
  21. Well, I guess it's better than the 3.6 is standard on the GTP now, but it still needs it across the V6 model range. Thanks for the correction.
  22. Why is it that Nissan's normal V6 in the Altima is as powerful as GM's "Performance Division's" optional V6? And why can't the 6M be connected to the 3.6? The G6 needs: 2.4 standard, 6A or 5M 3.6 with 250hp standard on V6 models, 6A or 6M 3.6 with DI and 290HP on GXP models, 6A or 6M In reality, the G6 will have way too many engines: 2.4, 3.5, 3.9, 3.6, and the HO 3.9 in the GXP. It should be: 2.4, 3.6, 3.6 DI.
  23. I think the DTS is selling less than the Lucerne (like 5-6k a month), but there's no way the DTS is 91% retail. I'd say it's about 60% retail.
  24. I say just give the XE duals as well.
  25. Good article, it was short and to the point, which I like. If only the Aura and Outlook featured the piano black finish I'd like them even more.
