Won't happen until the Zeta comes. W-Body was not designed for the 6-speed.

The extra power is nice (even if it's just because of the new ratings), but it sucks that the Recaros are gone.

I saw an 07 Yukon the other day. First one on the road. I've yet to see an Escalade on the road.

I guess if they aren't afraid of losing their jobs then they aren't scared of bringing GM down, but I think that's more talk than anything. GM will show it's in charge in the Sept. 07 talks. The Union is going to have to make concessions, because if they don't think GM can just hire people off the streets. Sure, it would be costly to do, and would take a while to train them, but it could be done and would make up the money GM lost from not producing anything for a while very quickly. The fact is that the Union workers are paid way more than workers at Honda, Toyota, or Nissan, and they're either going to have to make concessions so that their wages and benefits are more similar to the workers at Honda, Nissan, and Toyota plants, or they'll be without a job. It's as simple as that, IMO.

I don't like the little "doors" on the interior (that hide the buttons) or how the buttons remind me of the ones in old cell phones, but the materials are pretty good. I would never buy one simply because I wouldn't be able to stand the doors and buttons.

You're kidding, right? The PREVUE has to be one of the best-looking SUVs/crossovers ever.

Why would they add a base Terraza? If they want it to be a luxury minivan, they shouldn't be decontenting it, but rather adding features and not increasing the price much (or at all). Let Chevy, Saturn, and Pontiac handle the bottom-feeders.

The T900 Silverado and Sierra, SRX, STS, H1, and possibly others have also not been posted. The Colorado and Canyon got slightly bigger, more powerful engines.

I know W-Body was not designed to ever have a 6-speed auto, I'm not sure about G-Body. The 12-spokes for the LaCrosse look pretty good.

It sounds like the HHR would suit your needs very well. You might not want to keep it for more than 5 or 6 years (depending on how big the kids get), but it seems like a great vehicle for your wife with a 4 and 6 year old.
