  1. Outlook and Enclave are still better, but it's a welcomed improvement.
  2. On Wedensday a new CTS Sport (2007) came in, and I spent a good two hours getting her all ready to be put out on the lot. It looked sweet when I got done with it, and I have the pics to prove it In other news, I got to drive a new Tahoe to the gas station along with an SRX V6, CTS (not this one) which was a lot of fun, SRX V8 (loaner car), some other loaner cars that aren't worth mentioning, HHR, and just about an hour ago, an SSR! The SSR was definetly the coolest of the bunch, people were just staring at it the whole time.
  3. The interior looks pretty good here, but I have a feeling it won't look any better than average when you replace the NAV with a regular radio like 99% of them will have.
  4. I want GM to get away from the rebate game, but it might be a good idea to do it to get rid of the old Silverados, but certainly don't do it on the T900s, Kappas, HHR, Lucerne, Cadillacs (at least not most), Corvette, etc. On the old stuff it might be okay to do.
  5. Yuck. I'll take an Aura, please.
  6. Sweet, those donuts remind me of what happens when you do them in the GTO. I stopped because I don't feel like replacing tires every month though.
  7. Looking good so far guys. YJ: I'd move the air vents to the side of the screen and make the screen more square. Then move the HVAC controls up and add a little cubby space below.
  8. What a load of bull$h!. Umm, hello? Obviously EVERYONE knew from the get-go that the GTO was going to die quickly. It was supposed to be a 3 year run anyways. And the GTO actually sold pretty well for its market. How many Mustang Cobras do you see? How about Camaro SS and Firebird WS6s? Not many. It sold better than all three of those, but because it didn't have a volume model somehow it sold like $h!. First he says that anyone (he even says OLD MEN) buy Mustangs, then he says that OLDER GUYS don't want this type of car. Rather contradictory, no? Ok, first of all, the Camaro transcends more testosterone and also looks like it's from the muscle car era, and it has more power and anyone can put some damn stripes on a car, so what's the problem? It seems to me that the Camaro has taken the Mustang's "genius" and made it better. And the second part is complete retardedness. He just said the Mustang transcends testosterone, yet the Camaro is too aggressive for women? Something isn't clicking, but wouldn't both imply that they're agressive? And WTF is his point with the very last part? Who gives a $h! if the last Camaro was in your face and the new one is too. Isn't that what a Camaro is supposed to be? If being in your face is so bad, why don't all agressive cars flop? Being in your face has little to do with a car flopping. The reason the Camaro died was a lack of investment. It got a facelift from 94-2002. There were what, 3 Camrys in that time period? This author needs his head adjusted.

I thought the same thing, but I think it still needs to be pushed back farther for there to be room for access to the rear seat.
  10. I don't know when we'll be getting the 07 SRX, but I'm going to start taking the camera with me to work so I can snap some shots of the new stuff when we get it. Hopefully all be able to get a lot of shots and details.
  11. I saw Poseidon, and it was OK. It was basically 15-20 minutes of people on the ship eating, gambling, and dancing and then the giant wave coming and capsizing the ship. Then a group of people try to escape for an hour or so. I wouldn't see it again, but it wasn't bad.
  12. Yeah, I don't like driving it too much either, but I guess my mom thinks it's ok. They actually bought it over the GMT800 Tahoe (which is what I wanted them to get instead) but they liked how it handeled and drove better. Too bad the 900s weren't out then.
  13. I'm sure it will sell. If it doesn't you could find some Jaguar forum where I'm sure there are plenty of Jaguar fans that would have interest in it.
  14. ocn: Yeah, that's the cool part about it. I got to drive 3 Tahoes and an STS (those were the cool ones) and a bunch of Malibus and Impalas, and two Cobalts. I'm hoping I'll get to drive a Corvette to the gas station some day, but I'm not going to count on it. The Tahoes corner better and feel smaller than my mom's TB EXT.
  15. So anyways I got the job detailing cars and started last Friday. It was mostly a learning experience, but basically my job conists of inspecting the new cars that just came off the car hauler to make sure they don't have any damage, finding new cars on the lot that need to be washed and washing them, waxing/cleaning the inside of people's cars who have made appointments for detailing jobs, and checking the "spindle" to see if any salespeople have requests for cars to be washed if they have customers coming to look at a certian vehicle. I also dust off the cars in the showroom every morning. It's pretty easy and the time goes by a lot faster than I thought it would, and the salary is pretty good for what I do (IMO). I'm going to put a CAI in the GTO (the stock one sucks) and then save the rest for college hopefully.
  16. CadillacCTS is a dealer, but in British Columbia.
  17. I say try to deal on a LaCrosse CXS, but that's just me. I'd say either the LaCrosse or GP though, unless you want the best fuel economy (Malibu 4cyl).
  18. Nice, Decka. The only problem I have is I think the grill should be a little smaller or the headlights should be a little bigger. Still a great idea though.
  19. A '56 or '57 Corvette convertible in "marina blue."
  20. The current BLS is not coming, the NG AWD one is.
  21. This is ok because the market is shrinking radiply anyways. I'd rather see the money go into CUVs on Lambda and Theta where the market is moving.
  22. If Chevy gets a Chevelle, it can have modern interpretations on old cues, but the Camaro should be as retro as it gets, the Chevelle/MC should be for the most part modern design, IMO. If they were both retro some would buy the Camaro and some would buy the Chevelle; there wouldn't be a whole lot extra sales if both were retro.
  23. Since about 6 months ago. Saturn is becoming a full-line like Cadillac and Chevy, only it's between the two. In today's market, you can't have full lineups in steps, but the market allows you two have a bottom end full-line, mid range full-line, and luxury full-line, and that's what Chevy, Saturn, and Cadillac are all doing. Buick, Pontiac, Saab, and Hummer all fill in niches from now on. When Saturn has the Astra, Aura, Outlook, VUE, Sub-Theta, and SKY, they'll pretty much be a full-line lineup. If they get the Corsa and the Zafira they'll have 8 models; Honda right now has 8 models.
