  1. Interesting, Olds Guy, I didn't know Michelin made BFG. Do you know who makes Yokohamas?
  2. What happens in 2008-2010 when GM emerges stronger than ever? I predict what happens is the Richard Wagoner goes down as one of the men who saved General Motors.
  3. Congrats! My dad's best friend might trade in his wife's Sebring for a G6 convert. Keep us posted on your thoughts as time goes by, and welcome to G&G!
  4. Congrats! 0 for 72% hasn't done much at our dealership, it's been slow.
  5. Eh, I'm not sure... the radio just looks like it's floating there and was placed there randomly. It looks much better with the NAV, but this is going to be the bulk of sales, and it doesn't look too good in these shots.
  6. If I was buying new tires for the GTO, it'd either be Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3s (I think that's what they're called), Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s, or Pirreli P Zero Nero M+S. There are plenty of good tires out there though. I'd search on tire rack and see what people have to say about tires that will fit the Malibu.
  7. In our LSS (95) that now has somewhere between 70k and 80k miles on it (I haven't driven it in a long time), the only problem we've had with the engine is the intake manifold and that was a while ago. That Regal looks nice, should look really good when they wax it for you for delivery.
  8. Cool! I'm sure his dad will loosen up soon enough. I wouldn't let anyone drive my GTO when I first got it, but I've let a couple people take it around the block now.
  9. ocn: I saw this on a different site (maybe CZ28?) and the first pic is of the Calais if I remember correctly, the second and third are the sport model Commodores (SV6, SV8, SS I think were the three), and the last one is the luxury version. EDIT: yep, here the thread is: http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=457835 I was wrong, the first one is the Statesman/Caprice, the 2nd and 3rd are the sport models, and the last one is the Calais/Berlina.
  10. Now, now children, isn't this thread about showing respect and dignity? Now how is it respectful to depict Wagoner getting eaten alive... my gosh that's horrible
  11. Wow, you guys are getting screwed. It costs us $750/year to insure the GTO (my dad is the "primary" driver) and that includes me (18yo) and my sister (20yo), and the GTO would be a easier to get into trouble in than any of the cars you guys are paying those rates for.
  12. If the NAV screen was placed closer to the driver, they could have utilized that for some functions. Or, as I suggested before, just make the stack wider so it doesn't look so cluttered, there is plenty of room.
  13. Haha, good question, by knockout I mean a knockout hit. I should rephrase them.
  14. No, those weren't them, they were chrome and they didn't have the little cutouts at the edge of the spokes. They actually looked similar to the wheels on the first pics we saw of the SS SC but they weren't those either. I would guess you could get a pretty similar amount of money back for the stock wheels if you wanted those.
  15. I think they're the same wheels, but we had a used one that had some different wheels that I think you get through GM accessories that were way better. I'm sure you could get different wheels pretty cheap if you sold the ones that come on it.
  16. Chevy: Killer Malibu, RWD Impala, and a Cobalt that's best-in-class. Pontiac: RWD Grand Prix, killer G6, small RWD sedan, new GTO. Buick: EP2 LaCrosse, TE X-Over. Cadillac: CTS Coupe, best-in-class STS, ULS. Hummer: H3 V8, H4. GMC: Give them the NG Torrent. Saab: Nothing - no need to invest in something that hasn't proven it can sell. Saturn: Astra/ION.
  17. Wow, that's not any good at all. It's really rather boring and doesn't look like it would be from a luxury car/SUV. I think this is a big step backwords from the current one.
  18. The exterior looks decent but the interior is blah. They should have made the stack wider so that all the buttons weren't so close together, and they could have too; look at how much wider the console is than the stack. The wood looks nice though, I like it.
  19. Yeah, the steering wheel is like the one in the G5. My dealer has only ever gotten one SS SC even though they've ordered countless, so I can't promise we'll get one in.
  20. As others have said, no, but speaking of 2007 Cobalts, we got one in today. It was a base model with hardly anything on it, but the black tie radio is definetly a nice upgrade.
  21. You could also put the I6 in the NG Colorado and H3 if they were designed to use it unlike the current ones.
  22. The name he has on it is "Sunburn" which matches the color, I think.
  23. Nice find! I unfortunately didn't see any camo'd vehicles when I was in AZ last year.
  24. I don't think the Airflite inspired the PT... the PT was out way before the Airflite debuted.
